Check your Jumper and Radiomaster stick ends for a grub screw before you break them! The grub screw is in the top center of the stick. Loosen it before you unscrew the stick end!
Good to know I didn't even think of that and I've twisted my stickends a few times.
For $20, they should give you like 3 varieties. Guessing which ones might work will get expensive real quick.

My wife tried them all JB..she particularly liked the M4 with the spikey dome.
I like the TBS Crown Jewels, I'm a natural thumber (gran turismo)
but the indent makes Hybrid feel soo nice, so it kinda rewards good behavior.
even if I have to force myself to hybrid, I end up flying smoother...
I absolutely love my thumbgrippies! They have been working hard with their customers to make the perfect stickends for every kind of pilot. The grandmasters work very well for me since i hybrid and my indexes fit perfectly in that little ridge. Now i can focus on racing better with the added control and confidence with my stick ends~
Just one thing I would liked to have seen, is a length comparison with these products to the stock ones on popular radios.

The ball / Thick ends may give you hand cramps at first for pinchers.. I found the reach needed is too much for my small hands..
*Latex / silicone tubing for the win, tacky when clean. Cheap and easy replaceable. choice of colours/shore/thickness and fits all standard stick ends ;) *

TBS Honey Stick Ends for the WIN!!! I like the beefiness they have. Good grip with no pokies. I’m a hybrid pincher and I they work and feel great.
seriously liking these ones you picked, i'm ultra hybrid pinch, and both hands are slightly different, my left hand is mostly thumb with index just there for emotional support, but my roll and pitch is more pure hybrid. (hybrid being thumb on top like a pure thumber but with index finger in constant fixed contact with stick) i did try bigger rounder sticks but they made the interface vague, the narrower heads are not liable to be vague about when you are at centre.

I got the grand master's last weekend and I love them on my Mamba. I had to file the base of the diameter all the way down to 9.5mm from 12.5mm. I'm not a hybrid pincher, but The grand master's seem to be the best ones for thumbing. But that wide 12mm base was killing me. Thanks for the video buddy💪
Those Grand Masters are my style, because I pinch the right and thumb the left. I use that control for RC Planes, Helis and Quads.

You can also use the stock bottom piece as a nut if it's to your desired height.
Maybe I'm weird but being a 'thumber' and using my Tango 2 primarily, I LOVE the sharp STP Star Power stick ends. I don't fly as well with dull/smooth sticks and I'm not hardcore enough to cut myself with my sharpies.

i ran stock stick ends forever as i'm so resistant to change lol. i ended up going with some of these newer stick ends with super sharp spikes. i never thought i would like them but i'm a fan of sharp spikes now ! i'm also weird in that i am a thumber that typically hates most thumber specific stick ends. so try not to rule out a particular shape just because it is mainly designed for a pincher or thumber

I use TBS honey sticks on my tx16s. I am fairly new to fpv and was just using stock until my buddy gave me these (he preferred the 533 sticks). I was a thumber until I put these on. Now I Hybrid and I love that my finger gets under the ball/knob.
I instantly had more throttle control and pitch control yaw and roll - I lost a little snappiness. Over all - switching sticks and changing from thumb to hybrid greatly improved my skills.
my hands are XL size and I use tx16s. Biggest issue I have with hybrid is not bumping switches with my finger. Still can’t finger out where to put my other 3 fingers (what he said).
Just got the standard cylinder ones today and they are by far the best stick ends I've ever used. They kinda feel like those little prickly things that get stuck on your pants when you walk through the woods. Not sure how long they will stay nice and sharp since they are made out of some type of plastic but they are good enough to consider a disposable item and just replace them if they lose their bite in a few months.
The FRSky Pole style has been it for me for the past couple years, hybrid pincher and fast freestyle.
Sweet video, I know I've said it before but the shipping to UK from 533 is unreal even when ordering from the EU shop, other EU shops don't charge anywhere near 25 euros and 44dollars from us and thumb grippys charge just 15 shipping from us

That makes sense. Same shape stick but soft instead of hard spikes 😆. OMG I want CNC gimbles on my xlite pro. Or at least somethings a bit more solid. I'm always having to adjust the tension

You didn't even take about the hyper five33 ends! They are amazing especially with my hybrid pinch. Plus, with the bigger spikes they don't slip at all from sweat but are still not enough to cause finger bleeding 😁

Yes totally, been flying since 2017 and haven't put much thought into it until I was racing in the Webleed E-series. Needing that precision and consistency has had me trying different stick ends over the last few weeks.

The stick ends on the AG01 gimbals are really sharp but you could dull them down with some 600 grit sandpaper to just take off the edge. Personally I don't mind them. I'm a thumber. I wish I could learn to pinch as it seems the best pilots do.

Hey Joshua, are there any aftermarket stick ends for the DJI radios? I love the ease of use and range the DJI radio provides to proprietary quads but those stick ends and switches are not good. Thanks.. You always cover the good stuff!

I'm not expecting you to highlight any TBS gear but I went through a bunch of different stick ends until I got the TBS Crown Jewels and I find them to be the best ends for a hybrid grip. That scalloped side is perfect for resting your index finger making them very ergonomic and also helps with orienting your fingers so you always have the same grip. Highly recommend them. They are a bit sharp on top but nothing like the ag01 stick ends.
I've got nothing against TBS stick ends I've just never used them, and was particularly interested in this style of SLA-printed ends.
@@JoshuaBardwell That's totally fair and I see now that the point of this video was to highlight these cool new types of stick ends and not to declare one as the end all best stick end. I'll go out on a limb and say that if Evan Turner uses/sells/designed(?) these then they are probably awesome. Thanks for the response and sorry for the snarky attitude.
I understand the confusion. I tried to hint at the purpose of the video by saying, "which of THESE" is best for you, not "THE BEST STICK END BAR NONE," as I know there are others out there that people like.
lol my hands are fairly tough and I thumb so I need the big spikes or I lose grip when Im racing. I use the STP stick ends and they are really nice.
I like the lotus style stick end as I'm I'm thumber I tried the pinch but just can't get use to it.
Same. I grew up with video games, thumbs feel right.
I use the Grand Lotus ends without the extension/base on my Tango 2

I'd say that neither the radio, nor the gimbals, will do much without the battery.

Well for thumbers. I thumb but I do think hybrid is the best. Especially whenever you get the shakes
i love my sharp AG01 gimble ends they grip my callouses lol. my thumbs have dulled them lol. i cant even feel the pokies lol

The AG01 CNC gimbals and 533 MCK edition RipSticks have felt SOOOOOO unbelievably good the last 3 months or so that I’ve been using them. I love it.
I didn't think stickends were holding me back, but then I got Thumbgrippies and my lap times have been cut in half.

They seamlessly come in 2 parts, you have to unscrew one half of the stick end from the other

Great info Joshua really appreciate it. I just received the Radiomaster TX16S Max today. I am having an issue in that the stick ends are really short. I can screw them out to a lenght however there seems to be no way to actually lock them at that length. Am I missing something? The JR sticks had a grub screw in the middle that you lock it in with and the Taranis X9D had a lock screw that you screwed up the shaft to lock the stick length.
I know I could just use an M4 nut from my junk box but for a $299.99 radio I would have thought that Radiomaster could have added colour coded lock nuts!!!
I own an tried the original Five33 rip sticks and the MCK version. I prefer the MCKs, I’m a hybrid pincher using a Mambo radio.

Been messing with my stick ends since I got my tx16s. I flew thumbs originally so I got the five33 thumber's. Hated them. Instantly put the originals back on. I then bought five33 mck's and not only did I love them, I now fly hybrid pinch full time.
if it cuts your thumbs and it leaves you bleeding them means its working really good
I hybrid pinch and I have tried quite a few stick ends. The TBS Honey were really cool but just a little too big for me. I have settled on vantac lotus style on top with the TBS Honey bottoms. I have them adjusted were the honey bottoms make a nice ledge for my finger. I may need to try some of these, I am curious how the squishiness feels compared to spikes.
Just read another comment that they are hard resin...so not squishy at all. I expected them to be rubbery.
It seems to me, that ThumbGrippies closed up shop. They've been "on break" since long before that last commenter 4 weeks ago.
Chose the 533 Rip Sticks, and they felt great from the first flight!

I wonder if anyone has experimented with tab or paddle shaped stick ends for pinchers? I’m imagining a thin, slightly curved surface that would fit the contours of your fingers.

The best thumb ends are from the Jyu Hornet 2 Radio. The Drone is sh*t but the stick ends are so good.

Couldn't you just use your 3d Printer and make any Custom Designed knobs you want ... like 6" Levers with handles ... then you could really fine tune your movements and not get Carpal Tunnel ... It would be like driving a Stick-shift !
