I always knew acustica sounded great but never got into it because of their super high CPU usage. This right here however might be my first AA purchase ever since I sold my copy of Nebula 4. Also, your channel is the best channel I ever came across regarding testing out these plugins. Quick little introduction and then straight to the point by testing out all the perimiters from subtle to the max. Thanks for that.
I don't use the brand, yes I actually did. But for my purpose I do not need them, the only range that interested my was reverb/silver range but that can get quite expensive. But the UI design is always awesome, and with this one they did good work, even displaying what is happening on the waveform. Nice
It's weird for me because I'm kinda over skeumorphic designs in the sense I don't need it to look like the hardware. I've been preferring FLAT versions of Acustica plugins since they introduced them. But the art, and it is high art with AA!! Maybe I swing back at some point.
@@ObsessiveAudio indeed, for myself I don't use hardware emulations for specific reasons, they do add bit of things that helps knowing what is going on when playing with the knobs not like so many hardware looking fx. The price range is also to consider. But can't say they make bad products
Im not trying to ruin Acustca's marketing of this because it sound good from a Mixing Point of view, Im definately buying it, the fact that you get a Compex analog VCA comp in here and the rare EMT PMW comp is worth the purchase alone but from a mastering point of view EBONY is better its an EMT Rack as well, as long as you turn off the Reverb Ebony seems to sound better on mastering At least in my studio ITB on my Alesis M1 MK2 Monitors and my AT40 and 701 headphones and when I shot them out Analog going through my Mackie 32.8 Bus and Warm Audio G Comp going back into my UAD Volt in Vintage mode So from a Mastering standpoing Ebony is Better if your just gettin this for Mastering and the Ebony Comp on drums and Bass is Spot it
What about Sand 4, El Rey 2, Amber 4, Tan 2, Water 3, Jam 2, Ash Ultra, Tiger Ultra, Green 5, Scarlet 5 and Gold 5? Were those not improvements on existing products?
Been seeing this same comment on other Acustica videos, and it’s always incorrect in my opinion. 😉 I recommend not buying it, if you don’t like it. Not sure why everyone on the Internet feels the need to police other peoples’ preferences
wow. great demo!
extremely good for a rich piano!
Man, that thing really punches. Very good! 👊
The UI is a masterpiece!

Well, i don’t know… AA constantly invents new Frankenstein-channel strips that nobody actually needs, instead of improving existing products!
