Man those browns are truely beautiful fish. I like how u shared the fact that this was a 2 month effort to make this video, I can truely respect the effort and skill it takes to even get a brown like that to turn at your streamer and how it may take weeks for all the elements to come together perfectly with a touch of luck and u finally get rewarded when u fool quality trout like those it's an amazing feeling, and just as fun to watch in your videos. I deff respect u guys and the quality , effort and honesty in your work is what makes this channel so good and unique in my opinion. Keep up the great work can't wait for next video.
Just want you both to know you’re both right up there in my top channels to watch, love the shots and music in the videos as well. You guys ever come to Connecticut or New Hampshire to fish let me know!
Love the big browns. All that effort, taking the time to study your fish and the waters you go to shows every time you lift one of those gorgeous beauties from the net. Thank you for sharing. I fish almost every day year round and I still think the browns are the most beautiful God put on the planet.
Good to hear the hard work and months and years that go into catching these. Not as easy and going out and praying for a bite but actually putting in the time to learn. got yourself a subscriber. Keep it up
I remember when you first started. It’s really been a pleasure to see you grow from an eager kid into an accomplished angler and videographer Keep up the good work !
I have watched a few of your vids and have now subbed. I use to do a lot of small stream mountain fishing in Utah and have only caught one brown that size in my whole life. Much respect. JYN
Nice brownie !! Impressed how good that footage of the last trout you caught was. Especially on your own. It can get pretty crazy in fast moving waters sometimes
Thanks for the video. I'm in California and totally locked down here due to covid. These videos are helping me get through these days on end looking at 4 walls and the Mrs. I can't wait till they lift the shelter in orders. I snuck out one day to fish and sheriff deputies had all the rivers and lakes baracated. It's like Nazi Germany here!
Man that fish at the 5 min mark sure looked to be coming in slow and an easy fight, which we know never happens, then he BOLTED down stream. Very cool to get that on film. Loved the video, excellent intro. HFA banger as usual. Keep it up guys, and congrats Andrew!
Ya go to net big toothy brown, big toothy brown says "I don't think so". So much fun on those browns. Another great video. How many streamers do you go thru? I know a lot of the browns I've caught absolutely destroy my streamers. Was thinking before you mentioned falling, that once or twice a season put out a blooper video, ya know, slips, falls, snagging overhead trees, we've all been there and sometimes can be quite comical. Tight lines man!
I've thought about keeping a blooper reel going with all of our mistakes but I usually end up deleting clips because I run out of space. Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
I usually end up losing the streamer from breaking it off on something before it falls apart, so I’m not sure how long it would actually hold up. I can usually keep a streamer for several fishing trips however before I end up losing it.
I love your rod and real set up man I'm jelly lol i recently broke mine and looks like it'll be quite a while till i get a new one...but i use my spinning rods still quite often lol. Keep up the good work man!
What color streamer is your favorite cause I’m from West Virginia too in mineral county and I’m pretty new to fly fishing and my biggest trout on a fly rod Is only 14 inches
Wow this is me, ive been learning the brown trout in a small river near me, and they only swim through to go up and spawn, but they get so big and are so hard to catch, i got a trip planned next weekend hopefully I catch a good one
Had a great day fishing in Colorado yesterday, I caught 15 trout in total, mostly brown trout and I caught a 3 1/4 pound rainbow. The locals weren’t getting shit. I feel like a real pro. I’m super addicted to fishing now. But I think I really want to just fish to keep to eat because trout are really sensitive and die easily.
Good videos good fish as usual y'all consistently put big trout on the board when the waters are a little bit high and cloudy you figured out when to go after the big boys calls in the Clearwater it makes it very difficult I know, great wild fish and it amazes me that you have some hidden streams that get such little pressured hold fish like that especially when there's houses all around, wear I'm at everybody be throwing a nightcrawler or power bait an minows in there and they catch most of the fish out but there's a few larger streams nearby that hold big ones all year round it's just so big it's hard to get them good job
@@hardmanfishing thanks a lot for the comment back man you guys got it figured out and do super quality videos I'm a flying and I've been telling people about your channel I'm just a little bit jealous cuz we don't have the streams you do in your area lol but if I would start traveling we got lots of streams in the hour and a half to three and a half hour range
Holly s***😂😂😭 that brown was a monster!!! Congrats man your killing it out there, I’ve been catching some behemoths as well, but not sure if any topped that fish 😂😂😂 keep on killing it man congrats! Look forward to the next one!
Yessir we do. We have many nymphing videos we just don't usually catch the size of fish and therefore they don't get as much attention. And these fish are wild.
Hardman Fishing Adventures I should have asked full sink or sink tip, sorry. Trying to up my streamer game like y’all. I’m using a versi leader tip on floating line . My local river slightly larger than yours . Doesn’t seem like it’s getting down. Does it matter to big browns if it’s all the way down?
@@smoothsounds801 Yes it does. I mean maybe if a brown is super active it will raise up and eat a streamer but most of the time you want it right in their strike window. I do use sink tip line if I'm fishing a bigger river.
Love the videos. Fellow pa trout fisherman. Fly fishing noob. I’ve got a 7ft 3wt butterstick. what leader, tippet do you fish with those big streamers? Thoughts on furled leaders? I thought I noticed one in a recent vid
Well to be fair they only hold in those spots in the right conditions. 9 times out of 10 theres probably nothing sitting in those holes (at least nothing of size).
I highly doubt it. I mean I've only fished this creek in one other video before and I know for a fact we didn't catch that fish. Unless he swam from one creek to another.. HAHAHA thanks for watching!
@@hardmanfishing I was sure I recognised that spot with the wall and you caught a real nice brown there ( but not as nice as Andrew's lol) anyways probably a lot of places on these creeks look similar eh? Thanks for replying bro 👍
I miss the spring time crushing giant wild browns it’s so much fun having a little trouble getting them now that it’s summer hoping the fall will be as good as spring maybe even a little better
The spring is by far the best. Summer the water warms up and the fish get stressed out which causes them be more difficult to catch. Fall is good just as the temperature drops but then you are dealing with spawn so you have to be sure to allow them to spawn so you can continue to catch them for generations to come!
Hardman Fishing Adventures if you were to catch a brown on toe bags in a creek and release would that fish still spawn I’ve heard they won’t but I’m wondering if that’s only when there actively spawning on redds
Hardman Fishing Adventures also is nymphing any good in the summer I don’t like fishing with dries because my eyes are bad and I miss a lot of fish or is it just mainly dry flies the fish feed on
I hope you can go get a better fly reel because that thing you are using sounds like the cheapest possible fly reel. The clicker should not only allow line to come off the spool smoothly when a fish runs but also should nice. Precision cut gears meshing with a hardened steel pawl.
Need help. Hooked and lost 4 yes 4 back to back brown trout in 3-5 pound range. All on highly Pressured water and light tackle with small flies so no big rod, tippet or streamer. They sit in deep pools and have to basically hit them in nose with a tiny fly they’ll decide to eat. Have never seen them budge to eat. Anyways, I hook them, they make initial run sometimes two, then park the bus at bottom of a 8’ deep pool and then just feels like your stuck. I’ve tried to put heat and the tippet pops to get them to tire, I’ve just say there and let them sit for 20+ mins but they’re not tiring and something happens either hook pulls out or bends out or line breaks like I said if I try to put any heat to make them tired and move out of hole. Any tips for bringing these fish to net? Very frustrated.
You can't really walk in many of the stream's I fish, either to muddy or to deep.. I catch alot of big trout, just wish we had some nice rocky stream's I could walk in and fish like that..

Hey I’m getting into wild trout fishing how do you guys find you spots? Or do you have any advice are they class A?
We don't have ranking systems where I fish. Most of them I have found "blue lining" and some were spots given to me by friends/family.
Which one was supposed to be 25 inches?
Where do U get your flies at ? Just started fly fishing and want to different flies.
Elijah Strait we tie our own for the most part. But I do occasionally buy from Kelly Galloup’s Slide Inn
Do u sell your flies
Elijah, learn to tie, you'd love it, you'll be worthless after but you'd love it.
You are truly a good flyfisher and know how to hook nice trout. On the other hand you need to learn how to use a landing net.
