      It has them. But kanye west, joel Epstein and other tellivangelist nut cases suck all the oxygen from the masses. It leaves a spinozist hopelessly surrounded by very shallow people. However MLK was a different case here.

    I think this guy was damn near spot on :) after studying religion in great depth, I was working on a theory, and it was much like Spinoza's but not as complete.

    All admirers of Spinoza should read the 8th century Indian philosopher
    Shankaracharya and his Advaita Vedanta.

    • @EinsteinKnowedIt
      @EinsteinKnowedIt 5 років тому +5

      Perhaps but for what purpose? Spinoza is complete. No one should have to seek the nationality of a truth teller.
      So long as the truth is what it is. And that the truth is not relative to your special race creed status in life or color.

      @@EinsteinKnowedIt I think you will find that Advaita Vedanta agrees very much with what you just said. And i suggest you examine your definition of the word complete.

      @@jonatanduelund9123 oh yes agreed! I am interested in little else than deep rooted well thought out philosophical truths. Spinoza isn't the first to apprehend them but he is the most compelling explainer of them. So I'm told. And from reading him I'm convinced.

    Spinoza did not reject metaphysics. Neither did Schopenhauer. Hume in one passage did entirely reject metaphysics but then he did not.

      Still hung up on race and/or nationality i see. Look he was excommunicated. He's a brotha now. Slaves and prisoners weould understand him quocker than his contemporaies. Hence this iswhy he had an omen and strted writing feverishly until he died. And one guy he influenced heabily was a black man.and i considwr that black matuematician a reencarnation of his mind. So much for a this nationality pride stuff.
