temu is currently in a class action lawsuit for selling information lol
Every company gathers and sells your info. Having google maps installed on your phone is automatically more of a privacy concern than Temu is. Also, the claims of the lawsuit have not been verified as of yet, so it's just speculation currently.
The US has no national regulations on user information. Most states do not either. Companies are free to collect, use, share, and sell data they gather about you.
Like every cellphone app does already or any iPhone. You are clueless if you don't think this has already been happening for years.. Read app permissions next time downloading a new app...

And yet they still provide decently quality products for extremely cheap prices, not to mention everyone already knows that smartphones are essentially just expensive tracking devices anyway, it's not like Temu will really be able to *DO* anything with that additional access and permissions. Edit: Not to mention, I did some research on the lawsuit and so far none of their claims have actually been verified yet, so currently it's all just speculation.

Temu is a trap the only thing I have bought that hasn’t broken was 2 rings and a necklace everything else disintegrated within seconds to cheap quality

I've bought plenty of things from Temu that have been just fine, especially clothes, shoes, jackets, etc... Obviously you shouldn't buy mechanical products from a thrift store, but things that AREN'T in danger of breaking are just fine. I've also had headphones and stuff last me at least a few months, which is fine when it costs like $5.
