At school I remember bLue, L for left, bRown, R for right, stripy for middle 🤩

The lamp im trying to rewire only has blue and brown, live and neutral. Never had an earth?

Same issue here, what do you do with the third wire?

They will only ever have an earth if it’s a metal fitting. If it’s plastic it won’t have an earth.

I’ve got 2 silent pool gin bottles that I was literally talking about making into lamps yesterday , thank you I can do it, just got to make a hole in the bottle???????

You can buy bulb holders that don’t need the hole these days. You heat the bulb holder up and push it into the bottle neck. Might have to do a video on it
