Damn man, living the dream. Love to see it! BTW: maybe tape some of those rubber screaming chickens to the ceiling where the charger can hit the sealing, so you'll be warned before going too high ;P
When I was 15 I built myself a workbench with drawers, shelves, electric outlets. It was a solid masterpiece, made for my electronic projects. Mom liked it and asked me to make one for my father. Those are still in the basement and as sturdy as the day they were built 63 years ago. My brother has them piled with his junk. Why buy when you can build for less and make it better? Nice work on your garage project. Make your dreams come true.
Nice little fab table and good to see a vice on the corner! Something I have found handy is some 3x3 or 4x4 angle welded on one edge of the table in a V shape. Makes nice for round pipe or other catch or fab work. Garage is looking awesome!
The garage turned out awesome. Time to collect more Neon signs. The Easter Egg of the engine and that little silver convertible outside (if connected) will make for some interesting future content. Keep up the good work!
What a beautiful workspace man I'm envious, and a lift like that would really be a lifesaver for a lot of us, but I don't have the vertical clearance. Still, a couple good ideas here for when I get the rest of the storage out of my garage and expanded for fabrication.
Nice dude. For the racks you need a rebar bender. I build a house and used it for the basement. It had a cutting attachment on it for an added bonus. She weighs about 12,000 pounds and takes up a lot of space but it comes in handy every once in a while.
Bro, oh my god, you on fire is scary but cracked me up b/c it's something that would totally happen to me. Haha Keep it up, the shop is looking awesome. Bout to start on my new shop space as well!
Awesome job on the garage! If you're like me, the most used tool in your garage now that you have a work bench will be your bench vise. I'm looking forward to seeing what you create in there.
You sir need a pair of the world famous Florida Safety Shoes. 😊 On lift video, you mentioned parking your Challenger. I assumed a modern one but I see you have The Challenger ❤. Fantastic transformation. That lift is perfect, no posts in the way and it’s an adjustable work bench and storage. Winch is a nice idea too.
I highly recommend the Reebok RB4041 model shoe Light weight, Composite/Alloy safety toe Black mesh upper Gray sole You won’t even feel a difference between these and a standard shoe. Been wearing them for years.
Hard to be a car guy without pickup. I haul waaaay too many things and refuse to use my cars to do it. 😂 Ginger bread may be a permanent fixture to the channel.
@@noboltsleftbehindjust be careful getting one too nice, then you don’t want to use it for the rough stuff. Aaaand that’s how I ended up with 2 pickups! 😂
That came out great, the wood on the top is my favorite part. You might consider painting the bottom of the lift inside where the lights are silver to reflect the light better, might look better on camera
just a thought... paint the underside of the lift channels white and put the lights on the inside ledges pointing UP into the cavity that way you get a nice strong light that is more camera friendly and less glare to your eyes. other than that paint the shelves is will help with light and make things look cleaner. overall great job! i think the neon sign deserves a more central spot as its iconic.
Yup, that's awsome. Should really boost the UA-cam vid quality. P.S. just spill a little motor oil on the bench once and a while and it'll keep looking great. Dennis Taylor has a hole and a catch basin on his trany bench and he just spatula's spliled fluids into the hole.

For pipes, shovels, 2x, 1x scraps.....I use an old style file cabinet. I pull the drawers out , lay the cabinet on its back and it will hold everything standing on end. Great job on the garage!
Nice job it looks great. If your going full time in your shop you should consider steel toed footware. If you smash your toes you could be out of work a good bit and that would not be fun.
It’s a small detail but I like how you put a shelf under the s rap metal bin to keep it off the floor. Making it easy to sweep under or run water from the hose should you need to clean up a mess.
Came out great! That was a lot of work. Id recommend getting an old heavy duty vise. They aren’t that expensive and they’re bullet proof. Also make for a good UA-cam video refurbishing one
I think you can consider using the lift to raise the roof of your garage assuming city wouldn't fuss. You should also consider e-track to hold your car on the lift, maybe even strapping lift down when just storing stuff in earthquake zone. I use my old school chain over hydraulic 4-post lift to store less used big tools with wheels on top like a mezzanine and drive daily underneath it. You are right ducking underneath is a pain but not a deal breaker especially for $1000 lift.
Absolutely fantastic buddy….please , please, make sure you protect your workplace, Make it so when you close up of a night NO ONE CAN GET IN…….again, fantastic
Glad I came across your channel--gave me an idea to knock down the ceiling of my detached garage and leverage the four post. What are the dimensions of your garage?
I was wondering how did you figure out the engineering for removing the trusses and replacing it with that one big beam? Im looking to do something similar but worried about screwing it up
Nice work on the shop, however that metal bench should be your welding bench and then have a wooden bench as a "work" bench. If you drilled a lines of 3/8 holes across it and threaded them you would have a fabrication table. I did this with my welding table and it is awesome.
Looks good. Im curious if youve tried putting 2 cars on the lift with the altered ramp locations. I know you said in your last video that you wont have 4 cars in the garage very often. Do they fit or do you have to alter the locations back to factory if you need 4 car storage. Im also curious if there is actually clearance on the sides for the 4 car setup.
@@caseygroves-om8kc no, I haven’t tried it yet but by my measurements I should be good to fit with a foot or two clearance. I’m pretty sure I’d have to unbolt and slide the ramps back in to the factory spots for my cars, and those bad boys are HEAVY
