disneyland in its infancy is so charming. there was nothing like it at the time. it spawned a whole new era in family entertainment. thank you for this wonderful window to the past.
Thanks for sharing your home movie. I have 8mm movies from our visit in '55 and will someday convert them to digital and upload on UA-cam for others to see.
ThankYouThankYouThankYou! I went in the mid - late 50's, and was awed. One thing I remember is my uncle wanted to go on the Rocket to the Moon flight, and I was crying and didn't want to go. I was afraid we would get stuck and not be able to come back!
Dresses,Heels, Hats & Gloves at Disneyland!?! .... biggest change now is the way people dress! I can't even imagine spending even half a day in DL in heels! these DL clips are priceless footage!

It is hard to imagine Disneyland without the crowds of tatooed people! Oh!, for a day in the past to enjoy life again.
Thank you for this great video.
Crowds looked very light that day. THANK YOU for uploading.

That's when people had class. I miss the mule train, flying saucers and stagecoaches. Thanks
15,743 views and only 40 thumbs up? LOL, gotta love the internet. Glad to be #40 and wish more would thank you for posting this. This is great.
people dressed no neat and lovely back then. so well groomed. wish time machines were real so i could go back there for a day
My Uncle Jimmy was in that marching band from 1955 to 1964
Other than how people dressed, Disneyland hardly changed at all.
To me, the most surprising thing is how few people there are in the park.
Where are all the wall to wall people? I’d be lost without them…
