Those trails are awesome. They've redone and renamed most of them. Fun thing is they have names commemorating rides at the former Astroworld amusement park.
Thanks, yeah this is an old video. Lots has changed. Ha, I actually didn’t know that’s where the names came from. Astro world was before my time in Houston! That’s cool
Oh nice, congrats! Katy is nice. It’s a bit far for you unfortunately from Katy but you have the Anthills, Bridgeland, Cypress Creek, Cypresswood that are way fun and closer to you so put those on your list as well. Thanks
Thanks! Wow, that seems like forever ago. Time flies. Timberland itself has added more miles in some areas and some jumps and features since this video which makes it fun. As far as the connector… I’ve heard rumors of them wanting to expand the timberlane paved portion to connect to the spring creek greenway on the east. To the west, the paved section goes under the hardy and connects to herman little park then dead ends and lemm gully (a bridge would need to be built). off road wise you may be able to figure out how to cross it but it doesn’t appear to be easy without a bridge. continuing to the west there are a few trails built right before I-45 on the east side of it but right now they are doing construction on a bridge on the south bound feeder right at cypress creek. There are a few trails that go through forest oak park, then stop at seals gully. The trails then pick up again at the end of ella road just north of the creek. You can ride west through various fire roads and bushwacking and get to kukendahl and go under and ride some new trails just west of kukendahl. After that you have to go along the apartments, come out to cypresswood for a sec, then go south on strad dr E which dead ends at possum run and boom you are at cypresswood. So yeah potentially in the future there could be some connector trails that could make for a long ride! Just don’t know when that will happen as there still is some private property along the creek that the county doesn’t yet own, so nothing can really be done without permission from land owners. Sorry, that turned out longer than I had originally planned!
Paul Cantu thanks Paul! Yeah sorry it is a bit of a drive for ya. Houston is too big! Maybe you could combine it with another ride in the area :-) take care
PICKLE GAMER some say it makes the front end lighter and stiffer than traditional 2 leg forks which I think I would agree with. To be honest I always was intrigued by them and wanted to try one which is why I bought it. There are definitely some trade offs with them but for now mine has been great for XC riding
Awesome video great job picking the music 🎵👍😎🤘
Ha, I forgot about that one. Also a while ago. Appreciate it
song is sublime, love it.
Ha, thanks! That seems like forever ago now. Lots of new changes happening at that trail now! Take care
What's the name of the song ?

Try the trails in Sugar Land along the Brazos River too.
Great video! I can't wait for them to connect Cypresswood and Cypress Creek trails to this. Any updates on these trails since this video?
