LGBTQ+ in Litauen - Die erste Pride Parade in Kaunas

Unter massivem Polizeischutz fand Anfang September 2021 die erste LGBTQ+ Pride Parade in Kaunas statt. Kaunas ist die zweitgrößte Stadt Litauens und gilt als sehr konservativ. Zwei der Organisator*innen, Asta und Vika, sprechen über die Probleme bei der Organisation, Homophobie, und die Situation der LGBTQ+ Bewegung in Litauen.
Under massive police protection the first LGBTQ+ pride parade took place in Kaunas in the beginning of september 2021. Kaunas ist the second largest city in Lithuania and is considered very conservative. Two of the organizers, Asta and Vika, are talking about problems of organization, homophobia, and the situation of the LGBTQ+ movement in Lithuania.
