I'm having problems breaking the sound barrier at all in this game, have a sub hour without dara skip and now experimenting with settings and framerates to see if there is any correlation to speed, amazing run and definitely using this as a reference
This was a pleasure to watch. I've been trying to replicate getting the speed boosts then keeping the speed but i have no clue how you manage it. However i did manage to get my godspeed achievement though so thank you very much. I would love a breakdown of the mechanics of the movement.
I try to line things up in the distance as early as possible and hope I stay centered, but a lot of it is just practice, path memorization, and feel. In a lot of instances, I'm paying more attention to the timing of my inputs than to what I'm looking at.
Absolutely unbelievable. I'm at 46 minutes and I can't believe you've managed to shave off 15 minutes from that. I struggled to get under 50 minutes. Well done. How do you stay at top speed for so long!?!?
I found that sticking close to the ground or staying in the cloud layer Keeps your speed for longer times. Notice how low he stays to the ground but never slams into the ground either.
Right, I need some help. I have tried repeatedly to mimic your first level and after many attempts I have mastered the first drop where you hit Mach speed. However, I have no idea how you are keeping your speed after picking up the power source. I seem to slow down almost instantly but you stay at Mach speed effortlessly. Please help me. I’m taking it out on family 🤣
I will try to do a run with inputs shown soon. I've wanted to do it for a while, but I was focused on getting sub-30 with as little distraction as possible, and I needed to take a break after. I'm also working on a no powerup run.
@@7heHitman I plan on having an input display up for my next full run, though that might not my next upload. I've been taking a break due to bit of tendonitis, but hopefully I'll get back to it soon. If I don't put out a run with input display in the next couple months, feel free to yell at me.
I was actually just about to start polishing up my Darwin when I saw your comment. I got some ideas and already reduced my average time by about 30 seconds by adding more underwater supersonic, so thanks! I'm curious where you pop out of the water at the end, though.
I wait for the screen to fully fade in, then glide+dive for a couple seconds, then turn right, use up my jumps, wait for a little bit, dive until boom, then just wait for the camera to catch up. I'll try to do an input display run in the next couple weeks that will hopefully answer a lot of questions about my tricks.
Gameplay-wise, it's about exploring planets using gravity-centered physics, following a trail of alien signals and sctructures. Story-wise, it's about an astronaut who is the sole survivor of the disastrous first manned mission to Jupiter. When returning to Earth years later, an alien signal arrives at the same time with instructions to build a strange spacecraft. The astronaut senses that the ship is meant for him and is a way to return his lost crewmates.
For me this game is kinda creepy when lighting break it shows you photos of people or jupiter. Or even and old manęs voice is saying something not understandable.
Soo my first time playing this I was on shrooms and completely confused... now being sober, I'm still confused asf... can anyone explain the concept here
Basically you’re the survivor of the accident on Jupiter, and the whole point of the game is to go from planet to planet trying to achieve great speeds so you can eventually find a black hole to put you back in space time continuum.. in hopes to save your friends that died on Jupiter… there is definitely more to the story (lore, back story, etc) but that’s a quick synopsis of the game.
Also the craft your flying… extraterrestrials sent those blue prints to earth so that mankind can create the exo one in order to recreate the event before the accident happened. Another thing to note is that the exo one is too small for any humanoid figure to fit into.. just my opinion but I think the survivors consciousness is in the vessel controlling it.
I think this is the most satisfying game I've ever experienced in my life.
no "triple A" has achieved this so simply.
Used this video as a guide for sub-60 and I got 51:33 my first try! Thank you
x2 My time was 42:14
Such a beautiful game. Simple yet so amazing. I'm glad I didn't skip this on the Xbox store .
really good run. the 3 first level are just perfect. i'm sure with a little of luck in aquatics level you can go sub 26. gg !
I didn't even know a time like this was possible. The first 3 minutes had my jaw on the floor👏GG
Dear god, held final sound barrier break for over half that first level. 🤘

That was a really sweet run! That part in Daramulum was pretty nice, I didn't know part of it was there as well. That's pretty neat!
Never knew it was possible, absolutely blew my mind
Thanks, did 45:03 the first time I followed your video. Going under the map in Daramulum really shaves a lot. I got the achievements now :)
Your Speedrun is just amazing! I enjoy the game but you make it more enjoyable! Thank you for your awesome gameplay! 😎👊
The mad lad actually did it, the sub 30 minutes!
This in VR..would be awesome👽

Awesome run!
I wonder if in Nautica isn't worth to steer left a bit and get the steam from the falling comets
I would have never played or finished watching this if it weren't a speedrun.
Dam I was trying to fill the 29 seconds gap between you and me, and now I have 2 minutes gap to fill hahaha!
i make in this game nicely time 00:38:38 but man ... what you do is just piece of art . flawless tricks
I just played this today on cloud gaming...this is honestly impressive, to me a newbie.
I love this game
How can You see anything when the entire screen is red because you're going so fast? Like at 4:10

You're a literal god with this shit man. FUCK

Looks like cheats... how it's possible to keep that supersonic speed ?
Have you ever played the game?
Wow, the game look rly fresh. Does someone know here is it working with joystick ThrustMaster t16000m, please?
Mesmerizing. Well done!
Beautiful
Is this somthing like lightspeedskipping from star wars ? Nice to watch , sometimes i have trouble keeping speed up. Maybe i need to practice more.
I dont understand how is it possible ?? Good Run !!!

For reals tho, I get just as far and can't keep speed up... And nobody can reply (all sudden), I'm really starting to believe these vids are fake...
great run
can you make a run with inputs shown? just curious what and when you press and how you maintain such high speeds

Super sonic underwater the whole levels before the boosts on Darwin and thank me later, you'll save around 1:45 to 2 mins

I don't understand how you do it like that, do you have to learn it? won't work right away?
Slick plays
Wow...
Can you explain what you're doing at the start of planet 5? (while the camera is underwater, i can never quite figure out what to do there)
