THE JOURNEY
Early in 2004, an opportunity presented itself that would forever change the direction of my life and the culture of an entire community. I would sit at a bus stop day after day trying to catch an RTS bus to campus and this bus would pass me by with the words FULL BUS displayed across the top ultimately leading to the creation of New Scooters 4 Less in March of 2004. 13 years later (now as sole owner), New Scooters 4 Less (NS4L) is one of the largest scooter dealerships in the United States and continues to break it's own records and the sales records for some of the top scooter distributors in the country. NS4L has provided jobs to tons of amazing people, reached millions of dollars in revenue, sold thousands of scooters, and has serviced thousands more. Read More... www.collinausti...

Worked like a charm ty.... I have to say owning a moped has taught me allot about mechanics and i cant wait to get my hands on something more deep! 😃
You're welcome! Scoot safely!
Same.. The two I have owned n currently own have had me be more in tune then MOST men
You guys are so kind to have made a video based off of someone's question on another video.. and I learned something new! So cool bc my son's scooter has a very low idle. THANK YOU!!
So glad we could help! Thanks for the note! 💚
You guys are great I just buy a new scooter 2 week ago then start turn off but I learned today from you and am not going see mechanic but I will do it myself. Thanks for the video
Glad we were able to help!
This is the exact problem I am looking to solve. THANK YOU!
Hope it helps!
Did it work?
Singlehandedly solved my scooter's starting problem, and about 12 other people's throttle problems. THANK YOU!
Love to hear it!
All very new to the bike world and after spending over £500 and still having the same problems this video has solved the problem .. no idea why the garage didn't pick this up but I've one happy son now .. thank you 👍
Glad we could help!
If this works you are literally saving me. I have been to four mechanics already for this problem and they all say that there isn't anything wrong and that the problem is with how I'm stopping.... I will try this tonight!! Thank you!
If it's not this, then it may be a vacuum leak somewhere. May want to have the mechanics check for that.
Hey man just bumped into this I appreciate it so much I had to keep my hand on the throttle for a good minute getting home and doing this helped my scooter stay on well appreciated boss💪🏽🤞🏽
Awesome. Glad it helped!
Yes sir. It's a 150. I couldn't reach the screw, nor could I see if it was a torx, Phillips, or hex. So I took it to the local motorcycle shop in visalia ca. The guy said it was a 2.5mm hex. So he gave it a turn or two. Brought up the idle and away I went. (He didn't even charge me)
I rode around town like i had been doing before. And after over an hour or so of riding in city traffic, making u turns and stopping at intersections.. The bike give me no more problems. 🤙🏾
Awesome! Well, I'm glad to hear that! Safe riding!
Huge headache saver! Worked like a charm! Thank you!
Awesome! Glad to hear it!
Just want to say thank you because this video taught me how to adjust the idle of my Typhoon 125.
Love it. Our pleasure. Scoot safely!
This is why I love UA-cam!! Thank you
Glad we could help! :)
Straight forward and to the point thank you!!!!
Glad you found it helpful!
Actually worked, I was so worried! Thanks guys you are all awesome.
Excellent! :)
Not me nodding when you asked "you hear that?" 😂
Also thank youuuuu totally what I needed! I feel so handy now lol
Hahaha! Let's gooooooo!!!!
thank you man! my scoot scoot just started knocking off at stops today. So i tried doing this and BAM! good as new! thanks again.
Awesome! Glad it helped!
I have got the same scooter and same issue. I appreciate for the video. This information will save people's life. Thank you.
Bharath Ram Fitness awesome to hear it helped! Thanks for the note!
Same here.
when the wheel spins on idle tho its not enough to move you but it does mean that the clutch is in contact with the bell and that means wear. what i do is I run the engine cold, and when the enricher stops, it drops in a very low rpm, that's when i adjust it low enough that it doesn't stall after the enricher turns off.
Thanks for the tip!
From what I've understood is that, when the rear wheel starts moving, it's not idling thru the pilot jet, the main jet kicks in.
You saved my life just got a 2020 beast grom bike just yesterday and it started dying out on me ...mind you I. Don't know anything about bikes so I started to freak out 😂😂😂 but I came across your video and Wallaa just like that it stayed on
Happy to hear it!
Thanks a lot!! It was very helpful, my Vespa 125, kept on dying at a stop sign!!!!
Glad we could help Mick!
Omg! This worked instantly.. thank you so much for this video. 💪🏾💪🏾
Awesome! Glad it helped!
Simple fix to my great worries about my new scoot 😂thanks
Glad we were able to relieve a little worry for you! :)
thank you, simple but informative.
Our pleasure!
Thank you, this fixed my problem! Interestingly enough, Honda Metropolitans have a tiny hole in the maintenance lid specifically for access to that screw!
Yep! :)
That's really helpful to know! I've been having this problem with my metropolitan and I'm at a loss for what to do!
@@TessaLusis Hopefully this helps!
Thank you this helped. The screw seems lose though like when i turn it to the right, it wants to slowly move back to where it was
It definitely shouldn't do that. I would need to see what is going on to have a full understanding... Sorry I can't be more help.
Thank you so much for this. Really appreciate it.
Our pleasure! :)
I’m trying this tomorrow.
Hope it works for you!
Solved my stalling at lights simple video thanks
Awesome! So great to hear! Thank you for commenting and letting us know!
Solved my problem immediately. You're a legend!
Glad we could help!
Usually when it does that its because you might need some valves adjustment.
Thank you! My vespa is running nicely now.
Love to hear it!
Bro thank you very much ...... For free education on scooter i had same problem but now its fixed thank you
Awesome! Glad I could help!
I like this guy as a person
Thank you!
wow good info fir newbie like me🤗
Glad you got value out of it :)
I wss wondering why it cuts off i just installed a new carb didnt know you have to adjust the idle i appreciate this
Glad we could help!
Must be nice that this solved everyone else's problem with it. Mine however still stalled anytime I hit the back break whether I tightened or loosened it so what's the next reason it could be doing this.
Check your vacuum lines that run from the intake manifold to the fuel petcock and make sure there isn't a crack in them. Also make sure there isn't a crack in the intake manifold spacer that goes between the intake manifold and the head of the motor. Could be a crack somewhere.
thanks my idle was too fast on my Piaggio BV250 this video helped
AWESOME!
My 2009 Vespa 150 LX ie is having the same issue. Im going to try this in the morning.
Thank you.
Jesus Mejia let us know!
I had that problem, to solve it I set the air/fuel mixture screw 1-1/2 turns out and then the idel at 1900rpm when cold, after warmup rpm is at 1900~2300 problem solved.
Nice.
Thank you so much my G, I truly appreciate you
My pleasure my friend!
I needed this thanks
Our pleasure! Thanks!
Check the air filter also to make sure it's getting enough airflow? Then re-adjust the idle?
Sometimes you can have an air leak, vacuum leak, etc. Definitely make sure your airflow is good too. Then, yes. If all is good. Tune the idle.
Great stuff ! Thank you !
My relatively new Piaggio scooter keeps dying out whenever I'm idle, I will try this when I get home !
I assume the screw simply gets a bit loose over time from all the bumps and shocks on the road.
No problem! It could come loose, but it's more likely that there are external factors leading to it... break-in of the vehicle / wear over time, warm / cool weather, etc.
@@NewScooters4Less Same thing with my brand new 2018 Bintelli Scorch that I got on November 19th, 2019. So I'm assuming it's either the warm/cold weather that keeps changing down here in St. Petersburg, FL, it breaking in, since it's coming near 500 miles, but currently at 450 miles, or my carb cleaned or replaced.
@@JovanteeBlair In this instance, probably breaking in. Your unit is so new that adjusting it and fine-tuning in the first 500 miles is pretty normal. Thanks!
Mine is a 2012 Typhoon 125 with 10,000+ miles. It has started doing this recently. I am going to try the idling screw, but I'm wondering if it might be indicative of something worse?
@@jpy8 Possibly. This also happens when there is a vacuum leak, etc. However, these idle adjustments are super common.
Thanks man
Glad we could help!
Thank you I got that problem when the engine is cold it turn off i need to do that tomorrow morning ill do that
Sounds good!
Thanx mate.that really helped.
Thank you
Excellent! Glad it helped!
thank very much its will help to check my cygnus it is died whem i stop
Awesome. Glad we could help.
When I turned this screw on mine, I know I used to be able to make it so my idle rpm was high enough to get my wheel turning, but lately with the screw turned up completely, my idle is only about 1200 rpm, which is nearly enough to keep the scooter running, but sometimes not quite.
hmmmmmm... you have the idle screw screwed all the way in?
Thanks dude ur making it easier by explaining it cause I have the icebear mojo magic trike and it's been dying when I stop
No problem. Our pleasure!
Ive got a 250cc scooter the other day I was riding it and it felt like it was running out of gas but it picked up started running but it doesn't have the acceleration like it did before that ordeal
Sorry to hear that. Probably a fuel or air issue. I'd get it to a tech when you can.
Top man 👍🏽✅cheers
Cheers!
thnks for the explanation
Our Pleasure!
Thank you great help
You're welcome!
My garage called that the throttle tension screw. They said that if you're tweaking t
it to keep your scoot alive there's probably another issue! That's why once you've adjusted it, the engine doesn't die down as quickly as it did when you release the throttle. Maybe air leaks in the rubber manifold or the idle speed screw (on the side) isn't adjusted correctly.
The screw on the side (depending on the type of scooter) is usually a fuel / air mixture adjustment. With the idle screw (what I'm showing in the video), if you have to tighten it all the way down to keep it alive, there is definitely a problem. Like you suggested... a vacuum leak through the manifold, etc.
+New Scooters 4 Less I believe the keihin carbs fitted to modern piaggio scooters have the air/fuel mix on the under side of the carb.

#15 is idle speed
Obviously yours is completely different but I'd say there's a lot of people with one of these in their bikes.
I wish we had one of these shops in New York City man these mechanics suck in my area
Sorry to hear that :/
yes BJT MY SCOOTER IS AN ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTED ( EFI ) BUT I AM HAVING THIS SAME PROBLEM A 2018 SINNIS HERO 125cc
Sorry to hear that. I am not familiar with that scooter, so see if you can find a repair center near by. Best of luck with it!
I have the exact same problem with my scooter, except mine has fuel injection, not a carburetor. What should I do with it? And it's not just when it's cold, it happens all the time for me. I check the engine, and don't think that there is an idle adj screw like the one in this video.
Unfortunately, I think you might need to get this one into a shop for a proper diagnosis :(
Question does turning the idle screw up mess with the performance of it when u ride the bike or nah
It can to a degree. For example, if it is too high you are burning more fuel when just sitting at idle.
I have a brand new scooter and it dies as well at an idle or coming to a stop. We have adjusted the throtal and that doesn't help it. We have had nothing but issues from the get go. The automatic electric choke was burning out, magneto was not gapped properly, the company we purchased it from sent us a new carborator and everything. Do you have any idea what we should check before my boyfriend throws it in a ditch somewhere?
What kind of scooter is it?
@@NewScooters4Less it's a VIP future champion. We finally figured it out though the valves needed to be adjusted. Now it works great. Funny but he actually got pulled over for going 45 on it when top speed with out a motorcycle license is 30😂
@@jessicayoung6822 Yep! That can definitely create a problem! So glad to hear you got it figured out! (Slow down! Lol!)
My scooter is doing what you described. Problem is, my idle screw is already maxed out. I also adjusted the throttle for an idle. Now when it warms up the normal idle will rev higher and try to roll on a stop. It still starts like it's flooded and dies at stops until it warms up good. But onece the engine is hot it performs normal. I am guessing an adjustment at the air/fuel mixture. Or a leaky vacuum line. I will just put it in a shop and describe what's happening.
Yo Adam. I think you are on the right track. My first inclination was a vacuum leak somewhere. Also check the intake manifold. I've seen them cracked on the base sometimes.
I jus bought a new scooter yesterday. Engine bogs down and cuts out all the time, especially when i indicate or have lights on. Freakin annoying. Jus soent a grand on a faulty bike on gumtree, feels bad man.
WIth it being that new, I'd take it back where you bought it. If it bogs down when you use indicators, etc. then it's probably an electrical problem. I would start diagnosing by checking all your ground wires first to make sure none of them are broken.
How about fuel injection scooter...? The engine stall when stop at the stop sign..
Sorry. I would need to look at it in my shop. :/
That’s a temporary fix not a permanent solution to the issue.
If you're idle is just low, this will fix the problem. Been doing this for 17 years. Sure, there could be deeper issues... vacuum leaks, etc. but sometimes this is all you need.
I just put a 70cc cylinder on my aerox yq50 and the idle is now too low due to the larger volume cylinder not being filled with enough petrol.
@@elliotdownie7431and how do you fix that then?
Adjusting your valves @@elbontus2590
what about the opposite.
so mine works well cold, picks up very quickly. but after 2 mins then the bike bogs , i then have to fether the throttle up to it gets to a higher or around 20mph speed then works fine.
please get back to me if you get yhe chance.
many thanks, rich
Vacuum leak possibly. Check for cracks in the vacuum line, intake manifold, intake manifold gaskets/spacers.
DO NOT ADJUST THAT SCREW when you have FI scooter! it will change minimum value of TP sensor and may let ECU go wrong!! With FI, please clean the throttle body, change air filter, clean injector and idle speed will normally
I bought a brand new scooter and it shuts off when I don't idle it or when I reduce speed coming to a stop
Hi mate, I have a Peugeot vivacity 9/02 can not get started, have got spark and fuiel, can not find how to check valves or were the cover is, it was running 2 year’s ago but would conk out after running awhile, now trying to use it again, can you help, I’m thinking it may have sticking valves?? I'd assume it's carburetor related, especially if it's been sitting that long. I am not familiar with that scooter though, so I would recommend getting it into a shop close to you. Thank you!
Thks four your video I have a Peugeot V-Clic 50cc 4T from 2012 is same carburetor when I start up the idle is keep up and down up again and down is any reason ??? Thank you very much Jersey uk ❤
Hard to say. Check your vacuum lines and air filter to ensure there are no cracks in the lines, etc.
I have the same scooter too!
Hi thank you for your video I have a Piaggio Zip 50 2T when I drive and give a full acceleration is luck like is cutting down you don’t now way please thank you
I'm not sure what you are asking me here. I'm sorry. Can you try to rephrase?
My daughter has a 2 month old scooter it's doing this could it be the battery I tried to adjust the screw but still turns off
What is it doing? Just dying out? You could have a vacuum leak.

Awesome! Great to hear!
Mine has this problem won’t idle and drives nice when I’m on it but soon as I let off the revs bogs out .. my bike does not have an idle screw so what then
Does it have a carburetor? Sounds like it may be fuel injected? I'd try to get it into a shop nearby to see what's going on. Sorry we can't be more help with this one!
hi, i didnt use my scooter this winter, and now, when its on the stand its starts but when i leave it down it will just cut out, i kept it running on the stand a few minutes to warm up but then it was doing the same, do you know what it could be??
Is a vacuum line or fuel line getting pinched by something when it comes off the center stand? I would check your lines to make sure they aren't caught up in a shock or something.
@@NewScooters4Less even if the scooter is not running and is not on stand it dosent start, i was thinking is something to do with the wheal being in the ground and not being able to spin..
@@sarahmulqueen9014 I'm not sure I understand. If it's starting and the wheel won't spin and feels stuck, you could have a broken clutch spring or another transmission problem.
@@NewScooters4Less sorry about that english is my second language, the wheal is spinning when is on the stand, but when i leave it down the engine just stops, and its a 125 cc twist and go there's no clutch, its ok nevermind i think i need a mechanic to check it properly, thank you
@@sarahmulqueen9014 Not a problem. If the wheel is spinning when it is on the stand, the idle may be turned up a tad bit high. There is a clutch, but it's a CVT transmission (meaning it's automatic, aka - twist and go). I would definitely get it into a shop when you can! Good luck!
I'm probably just better of getting a new|w motor and rebuild everything with Taiwan psrts
Is this problem related with any weather change?
You can see fluctuations in idle due to temperatures for sure. Some scooters are worse than others (cheap models). The warmer the motor, usually the higher it's going to idle.
What can cause this problem though as my scooter has been running perfectly up till this started.
Thanks.
You could have a vacuum leak. Check vacuum hoses, etc. to make sure there are no cracks, etc.
So.i did this and found it still wasn't staying on I went to the throttle cable on the carb and now it revs wayyyyy to high and if I even move the screw it dies down if I adjust it ... What am I doing wrong or what do I need to adjust instead the cable back more slack or tight ? And loosen the bold more ? I'm at a loss going 30 mph with 100 cc
I'm sorry. I would need to look at this one in person. Do you have a shop near by?
HELLO PLZ HELP ! when i start mine , it doesnt a actually keep that rev ... in about 4 seconds it allways die out when stoped ... SO can it be screwing it up a little when its OFF then see if it fixed ??? and is it propubly coz the battery thats dying? or a some dirty in the carb???? thnx a lot
Could be a vacuum leak. Look for cracks in the vacuum hose or the intake manifold. I'd start there.
Everything was working perfectly though, it never died before and ran perfectly. I dont want to mess with the idle when it was perfect last week....
Sorry. Does it die at idle all the time?
@@NewScooters4Less No sir. And it used to start and i would wait for it to heat up and it would gradually increase rpms, now it start and want to go straight away, i have to hold the brake really tight else it will fly away.. like just the opposite, now it starts and slowly decrease rpms over a few minutes then will die out. Do you have a video to help with a 50cc moped front wheel/ steering shaking when reaching 30-35 mph?
Hey! We do not, but is it shaking uncontrollably or just a little bit. Usually this is due to a bent steering column. Did you run into a curb somewhere? Does it turn side to side ok or is it sticky or tough to turn the steering column?
Hey, I have the same problem with Yamaha Neos 2009 4 stroke engine, how to solve this?
Does it have a carburetor? Can you make this adjustment made in the video? Also check for vacuum leaks (cracks in the vacuum lines, crack in the intake manifold, etc.)
IF THIS DOEST SOLVE THE SITUATION LOOK INTO CARB CLEANING OR VALVE ADJUSTMENTS
So the same thing happened with my moped, but when i give almost full throttle it dies out. What should i do?
Is it bogging down at full throttle or is it cutting out every time you give it throttle? It could be several things, but I would start by checking the air filter, making sure its clean and that there are no cracks or anything in the air box. Check for any air leaks (cracks) in the intake manifold (the part between the head and the carburetor). You could have some gummed up old gas in your carburetor / blocked jet, too. Has the scooter been sitting without use for a while?
Hi, I have a concern in my scooter. Every time I slow down to turn or ride across a hump on a road, my sccoter will suddenly have a slight burst in speed. Is there any fix to this? I tried adjusting the idle speed but it's still doing the same speed bursting
Hmmmm... maybe a vacuum / air problem. Check your vacuum lines to make sure they aren't getting pinched by a shock or something when you turn. Also make sure none of the lines are interfering with your throttle cable on your carburetor.
So I have a TaoTao Quantum 150 that has a bunch of mods done too it like a big bore kit, different exhaust, carb with a 30 mm intake that has been re jetted and nibbi extension with a UNI air filter on it.
The bike runs great on the kickstand and transitions fine and has a good idle too it. Top speed is great and has no problems at all. It actually runs good for a few miles than it's starts this issue. The problem is when u get down to about the 15 mph or so the bike shuts itself off and dies out. You CAN restart the scoot bike right away.
It does have a fuel filter up by the tank itself(stock location)and I added one on the main fuel line going to the carb too, both look good.
Things I have done already are:
1. Drilled a hole in the gas cap already to prevent vapor lock, since I had this problem when I first got the scoot
2. Checked the valve clearance are both set too .004
3 Zip tied the vent hose off of the vapor canister off and deleted the EGR from the head too
4 I also have played with the float bowl level in the carb and ended up putting it back in the original spot I found it in....
5. Checked the idle numerous times
Anybody have any idea what could be going on or what a remedy for me would be?
Do you think it could be electrical? On these cheap chinese scooters like Tao Tao, I've seen the type of issue you are describing with bad ignition coils. May want to replace the coil and see if that does the trick.
I’ve tried this on my 125cc moped and it didn’t work as good so I cleaned the carb to see if that worked still didn’t work it’s a 2022 plate so I’m not sure it also loose power
Could be something else causing your issue. Do you have a shop you can take it to?
Fairly new apriliia storm scooter. Engines dies when throttle is pulled. But doesnot have any problem once it gets warmed up. Will this solve the issue. It happens everyday when trying to start the scooter.
Check the fuel-air mixture. Some scooters have a screw to adjust. You may be able to adjust the needle in the carb or you may be able to adjust how much air is being sucked into the air filter. Sounds like an adjustment there will help.
This is not a permanent fix for me. I got close to fixing this problem by tuning the jets to the right size, changing the needle position and adjusting the fuel/air screw. The idle screw will result in an idle to high when the engine is warm. These scooters are hard to tune idle wise.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you can fine tune it and get it locked in! Best of luck!
@@NewScooters4Less thank you sir.
I have tightened this adjustment screw so much that I can not go further. However, the engine still dies out when idle. Can you please give me some hints to solve the problem?
It could be a few things... It could be a bad carburetor, issues with the jets in the carb, or something like a vacuum leak. What kind of scooter is it? You might want to replace the carburetor all together. Some are cheap enough to where it makes sense to do that. Good luck!
@@NewScooters4Less Thank you for your kind response. My scooter is Chinese one and model is Gator-50-S3.
@@e-wave8247 Email our service department a picture of your scooter at service@NS4L.com and they can email you the cost of a carburetor that would work. I would replace the carb and clean out the fuel system. Hopefully that will do the trick for you. If you have a local shop, I'd probably get it in there if possible.
Am I tightening or loosing the screw?
Tightening if you need the idle to go up. Loosening if you need it to go down. If your scooter is dying when you come to a stop, you’d tighten it a tad.
My rear tire always spins even with the idle adjustment to low any idea how to fix this?
Is it spinning fast? If it's spinning really slow, it's not a big deal.
So we changed the idle but our issue is it’ll start on the stand but struggles on the ground. (Resistance on the wheel) we’re thinking maybe something with the clutch? It dies anytime there’s resistance on the rear wheel ie body weight, brakes
Yes. You could have a broken spring on the clutch or another similar issue. I would definitely pull the transmission casing off and look at that clutch and transmission.
@@NewScooters4Less After I sent this I pulled the cover off and found the issues. The ceramic pads for the clutch were all broken and pieces were everywhere. Ordered a new clutch and transmission assembly that I will be putting on later today!
@@Consi2536 Excellent! I am glad you discovered the issue!
My bike exhaust smells like burning alcohol when I’m at light idling I can smell it 😝
Yikes. :/
Is it bad for the engine to run high idle for too long or all day
I would definitely adjust it, otherwise you are unnecessarily going to be burning more fuel.
What do I do when it’s maxed out the screw it turned all the way and the idle is still rough and it stalls out
You have a different problem. Could be a vacuum leak / issue. Could be something internal with the carb. Could be an airflow problem. Could possibly be electrical too. Sorry! May need to have someone look at it :(
I have an opposite case. The idle is slightly high and my scooter is pushing forward in idle. So I tried adjusting that screw by unscrewing it as far as it could. But that's not bringing down the rev. What's the problem?
Is your throttle cable too short? Did you recently replace that? You should be able to adjust the cable some too at the throttle handle and on the carb. It could be pulling to much on the carb (giving it too much gas)
How about if you don't want to adjust it to above 4000rpm idle just to keep running 🤔. How do you fix to keep 2000rpm when it wants to die out?
Maybe set at 3000 rpm? I think it's just finding a nice medium.
@@NewScooters4Less Factory recommended idle for Ruckus is 2,000 rpm +/- 100. Turns out I was losing compression because the service tech didn't seat spark plug all the way 😒
@@fisher5413 Ahhhh.. Gotcha. Glad you got it sorted out!
What if I do this and it doesn’t work, when I higher the acceleration the wheels move to much and when I lower it just sounds like it’s going to die again, there’s no in between with mine, maybe battery ?
Check for vacuum leaks. Could be a crack in your vacuum line, could be a crack in the intake manifold, etc. Thanks!
This seems to be the right issues with my scooter but after adjustment on the idle screw my scooter won't start and it didn't help.
Check the vacuum lines, intake manifold, and air box for cracks. Could be a vacuum leak or maybe an air flow issue.
Ok here we go i just replaced my carb and it wont electric start or kick will come on if i twist throttle but it wont stay running to adjust idle? I have to twist it alot to make it rev..then heres a another problem ive tried a bunch of times for it to start with my electric start now it wont make the click noise but a diff noise now??? Im worried i broke it..makes like a zooommmm noise when i push the electric start in im so sick of scooters.. can you please help me ive also check my hoses to make sure there good after replacing the carb..
Sounds like the starter motor is just spinning or the starter clutch gear isn't grabbing. Could have come unaligned in the transmission. I'd get it to a shop man. Sorry!
So today I’m going to buy myself a gilera runner 180 vx witch is the 4stroke version the bike starts up fine and rides nice but once I come to a stop it dies out but will start back up and go again also the bike seems to back fire and crackle and pop I was thinking if not the idle maybe I should try clean or change spark plug and old oil?
Probably fuel and air mixture is off. I don't know anything about that bike, but I would look at spark plug, carb, air filter, vacuum lines and make sure everything is good there.
