If you want even more speed and your display can handle it - select NTSC mode from the early boot menu (hold down both mouse buttons on power on). Anything by Microprose, Tornado AGA are worth trying too if you like flight sims. Or maybe Wing Commander CD32 edition, but that's very difficult with an accelerator.
@@Retro32 You'll probably have to adjust your Workbench Display Pres too, maybe monitor prefs too. It's a bit more involved with loading games from hard drive rather than floppy. But at least you'll know pretty quick if your monitor won't do NTSC.
The ultimate CD32 is powered by the TF360, although only a handful of people have them at the moment but hopefully Stephen will release them one day once CD support has been ironed out. For the ultimate TF330 I would ditch the Kipper2k riser board and replace it with Stephen's new USB riser which being a 4-layer board and provides a better RGB picture, or better still order a Indivision AGA MK-III which is now on pre-order for the CD32.
An interesting one to try would the the CD32 version of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (the GameTek conversion). It was notoriously rushed and used frameskipping to get it to work - I wonder if the acceleration will improve things, or whether it just makes it choppy and fast?
Sadly GameTek cut out frames altogether so speeding up the CPU only makes a marginal difference, its still poor. Maybe one day we will get a good version of SSF2 Turbo...
@@SteStaley - That's a shame. I did wonder, because as I understand it, the code started as a port from the PC conversion which would have been CPU-reliant.
Yes i think it was - i think the same team was working on the PC version. Its a mega shame that they just seemed to give up on the game but you can sort of understand it because the market for CD32 was already dead by the time it came along and to be honest its amazing it was ever developed in the first place. That said, the CD32 could of done better and would love it if one day, someone makes the port it deserves, even if i have to fund it myself@@turricanedtc3764
Good stuff! Love what you have done with that CD32. Still hope to get one eventually.
Cheers!! They are well worth the investment - pricey though
I’m very pleased with mine also 😎🤟

I never knew that! Cheers for the tip!
