I’ve watched the repetition of the game alongside the recording of the podcast for the last few weeks and it’s been the best footbahlin experience in my opinion. Nice to hear Ben’s breakdown while rewatching a couple game highlights without having to be stuck to the screen.
In my mind, it was all play calling, not anything else. Matt just doesn't know how to stack plays in a way that confuses defenses at all. He was probably very good at most other things. Time will tell.
Successfully evicted Matt Canada out of Pittsburgh, and we immediately have a game with 400 yards of offense. This is a step towards greatness Update: we are NOT stepping towards greatness.
Clueless comment… we don’t have the qb, we don’t have the coach or the offensive line. In fact the D ranks pretty low also. This is not a great team. And our coach lives in his fears. Specific to the 400 yds, you appreciate that cinci gives up almost 400 every week? And this week without burrow they were even more likely to do that? You realize we scored 16 points? 1 TD? Do you appreciate that the game was in doubt right to the end? They were without their qb, their starter had never started a game before, their defense is trash and played like trash Sunday, and they almost won. Only real good news was tiny hands found his tight end over the middle, that and 22 looked solid at RB. We are no threat to a good afc team.

Like when heath would drop a ball. U just couldnt get mad at him. Not that warren has earned heath level yet. But kenny did drop a couple dimes this past week on long balls. Lets see if it continues
