If you want to put the original lunchbox wheels on another truck, you'd need Tamiya 0005276 B Parts Tree. The new wheel adapters will engage the axle with the same pin the hex would.
@@RustydriftRC that’s awesome! I was thinking I would have to 3D print but that’s even 2 different sets! I was even thinking of softening the plastic with heat and trying to form them over a metal hex! 🤔🤔😬😬 Thanks for the help!! 👊🤘👊
@@RustydriftRC good to know! I was wondering because they are different connection set ups. I just bought the set of wheels and will have to find 2 more rear hubs for the other 2 wheels I have. I don’t have a lunchbox, but I do have the tt01 Nissan GT-R and tt02 Impreza kits. Also put a Tamiya unimog body on a xinlehong 9125! Looks sweet and has mad van wheels on it! 👊🤘
@@Loves2Jacket not sure what size they were advertised as, but when I measured the ones I have they were 17mm. When I bought them they just said they were meant for the lunchbox.
Yes, but you need the narrower set, because the grasshopper front axles are shorter than the Blackfoot/ Lunchbox axles. Look for set for the Frog, or Hornet and they should work on the Grasshopper.
Fronts are just like a real car’s wheel bearing, tighten it up and back it off (add a little thread locker to the front of the nut)
Any way you know of to put the lunchbox wheels on to a 12mm hex? I’m trying to put them on a different truck but they don’t have the hex at all.

@@RustydriftRC also I looked it up. Will I need 2 of these? It looks like there is only 2 per part tree?
Yeah, I think you need 2 sets. You'll need 4 rear lunchbox also because the fronts use the bearings in the wheel
