Thanks for sharing!!! 😸
i love sarah and her mum's relationship!!! they're so cute hahaha
kindness is the greatest virtue. i like how kind (yet honest) you are with your mum. and porridge too!
nOm is filling the void that all other food shows have left in my body.
Is that a facial tremor we notice on your mother, Sarah? Not trying to intrude, but early diagnosis of symptoms can be helpful. Fun and informative video content, this and others, so thank you! :)
A really meaningful series! Hope it can continue ^^ I'll definitely be trying out the recipe when I can!
That's right, seems really tasty & delicious too!
Respect the love & passion for this cuisine
thank you for your support~ you can find the recipe in our YT video's description: ua-cam.com/video/bsnJcUS4t20/v-deo.html 😋

Wild Swans is a good book, I loved reading that too! ❤️
I LOVE PORRIDGE!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
My mom's abacus recipe is soup based! I grew up eating that so I thought that the fried one was unusual, but turns out it seems to be the other way.
mine too! and we used idaho potatoes instead of taro
What a lovely episode.
💪
I totally agree with you @Jade Foo
👍
*Really meaningful & splendid too* ... ...
😸
Looks so good!!! Loved the stories shared too :”)
Love the host :)
Wow, your grandma is a heroine! Refusing to marry against her own wish. 👏👏
Will be helpful for OGS to include the name of the Hakka restaurant they visited. Does anyone know? I wanna visit that restaurant in particular for its traditional ambience. (Found it: Plum Village Restaurant)
This makes me miss my mom and grandmother☹
Most famous Hakka food is Lei Cha. It is a bit troublesome to make so most of us buy from Lei Cha stalls around in Kuching city. Da Pu Hakkas do not cook Lei Cha though. It is a very special dish of the Hepoh Hakkas.
I like it that the older generation is passing on these skills and art to the younger generation... ... so as to pass on a positive part of themselves to live on in the next era
Have a really heart-warming and wholesome feel to it
I guess the only dish I can make is Yim gok Gaai, as a second generation Hakka. 🤔
Hello! Isit possible to share the recipe? I’d really love to make this for my family (: I’m Hakka too but my family doesn’t know how to make Suan Pan Zi.
sorry it took so long! hope it's worth the wait - find it in our YT video's description: ua-cam.com/video/bsnJcUS4t20/v-deo.html 😋
