Thanks for the update, Fortune. Sounds like you're doing the right thing for your mind, body and spirit! Also, that's a gorgeous forest you're walking through. Hope to see you post more videos in the future, whether it's thru-hiking or just living life! I'm looking forward to the magazine.
Interesting information about adrenaline and dopamine. I’m not a Thru-Hiker, but I am outdoors quite a bit (full time camping for almost a year) and active. Day hiking, biking, kayaking and walking. I’m not a fan of traffic, big cities, etc. It feels chaotic. Crowded places, oh my. I just want to go back to the woods, lol. But it makes sense (at least in part) why I feel that way.
On the PCT. No it was not from water. It was a stomach flu. I hadn't even began to drink water yet from outside...when it hit me. It was also confirmed at the hospital later on. Just bad timing.

Glad you are taking the time to heal yourself! Can’t wait to see your magazine!
Hey! Glad to see and hear you’re doing good. I’m glad you’re finding ways to stay positive and I look forward to seeing the wedding vlog.🤗🤗🤗
You mentioned that you got sick within the first day or two. Is it possible this had something to do with the water you were drinking?
