Love the idea of one big video a week and then doing UA-cam shorts for pokemon updates/events on the main channel. I like high quality video, if that takes more than a week to produce, than I believe it is worth it instead of forcing a video out each week that may be rushed. Keep up the great work!

I appreciate how introspective you are and how deeply you think about the challenges life presents you. I think you should keep building out mystic rips in a manner that allows you to continue to bring the personality value to your medias that benefit most from it. This will have a two-fold benefit of you growing platforms that bring attentions to your businesses while also creating businesses that sustain better “without” you (operationally). Your creativity in media and business is top notch. Two cents from a thoughtful stranger with entrepreneurial aspirations ✌️

Thoughts on how you could do personal channel and Pokémon GO stuff together on your Pokémon GO channel. (Coming from a many year viewer of Mystic7)
Maybe throw in small snippets of content from this channel between Pokémon GO clips for a video on Mystic7 (with good logical transitions, of course) and then tell people they can see the full Vlog on your personal channel. That way, hopefully retention isn’t hit too hard on your Pokémon GO channel for people that only want to see GO content, and you would still have something to upload to your personal channel without too much extra effort. This is probably the closest I can think of on how to clone yourself and do both full effort.
Youv’e built an audience that will probably follow for your personality, and would stick around

You could even play into the clone idea and say, “let’s see what’s going on back at the business” and throw it back and forth to yourself (camera transitions or other creative ways)

Loving the videos, keep the coming! I’m new to the community, but one thing I have noticed and I think could be helpful is keeping appointments on WhatNot. That way we know that if there is a show scheduled at 2, it is for sure going to happen.
Other thing that could be helpful for at least the rip channel is an upload schedule. So the fans know that every Tuesday we have a new video to be excited for.

Once you get Rips stabilized, you can definitely go back and put more work into PoGo. Outside of events or new generation drops, there isn't much different to report on in the game.
Still loving these vlogs Brandon. I’ve essentially been along for most of your 11 year ride on UA-cam and it’s just super exciting to have watched you evolve over the years.
The TikTok ban (imo) really isn’t a cause for concern; much like you said in the video, the Chinese know how large their market is in the U.S. and they’ll find a way to “sell it to an American investor”. At the end of the day it’s all about the money and TikTok makes a lot of it lol.

Guessing that Rips would be instantly cash flow positive were you to relocate to Austin, Miami, etc. (If you don’t HAVE to be in the “scene” Orlando has all the advantage of Miami with even less overhead.) Either way, from what we’ve seen in the space, your production value/quality is some of the best, if not the best, in the TCG space. You’re def on the right track. Also, fwiw, we prob wouldn’t have found you here without POGO.
I'm surprised you still have time to make these videos with all the time that you need for everything else haha. I'm enjoying them tho. Its fun to get a little bit of behind the scenes through this channel.
I'm assuming you have a good accountant and financial advisor, so maybe have them look at your monthly numbers, not just revenue, but expenses, liabilities, etc.
It hasn't gone through the Senate or been signed by the President yet, so things could still change and it's just a force sale in 180 days.... So we'll see😂

You are doing really good works here Brandon! Don’t let stress get to you. I feel it is more stressful because your employees’ life can be directly impacted by your business outcome. I know your day is jam packed with a lot of things already but my suggestion is to add something more mindful into it such as meditation or yoga - so you can reconnect with your center and breath and realize what is truly important in life at the end of the day. Getting angels for a pokemon business is probably your best bet lol. I don’t see a lot of regular investors wanting to invest in volatile markets like pokemon cards unfortunately
maybe try and get more traction to the website and building out that, you'll be less depended on platforms like tiktok and whatnot

Glad I clicked on this video. In Dbt this week they were trying to explain it is what it is. I was so upset because my abusers in life have used that saying to justifies hat they had done to me. This is your off topic Pokémon page but what is natural day of Pokémon day. Do you open gifts first, build best buddy with different Pokémon, do you do routes with a party of friends during the big events. That would be a cool video if you haven’t done that. That would put a lot investment in time but I would definitely look forward to that video for Pokémon. Thanks for the heavy grind for both content. Keep going! Sky is the limit!!!

Unlike the big UA-camrs like Ryan Tran, you are limited by your content, their stuff is less niche, Pokémon isn’t something everyone will click on, unlike getting across the country with a penny
All you guys completely have missed the point. This is NOT about "national security". This is NOT just about America. It is just a battle between the US vs. China over global influences. TikTok (its main HQ is not even in the US nor China) has global reach OUTSIDE the US. TikTok is a most popular app in over a hundred countries in the world - including in the Global South where China’s influences are steadily rising while US is facing increasing hostility due to the US complicity in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in West Bank. Once the US gets its hands on TikTok, the US government will use definitely use it to spread anti-China and pro-US propaganda. That is the true purpose of forcing Chinese to sell TikTok to the US, so that that US can seize/steal a most popular media tool and then use its global influences against China. I would rather TikTok just gives up its US market (i.e., banned in the US) than to hand over its global influence to the US government.
By laws, the Chinese government can block the forced sale as ByteDance (the parent company of TikTok) has to follow Chinese laws. The CCP should absolutely NOT approve the sales. This is not just business. This is but a battle in the war between the US and China over global influence. TikTok should NOT be handed over to the US and then be used as tool to expand US influence in the global market. I would rather TikTok just give up on the US market rather than to hand over TikTok influences on all those overseas markets to the US.
If I can figure this out, I hope China is smart enough to realize what is at stake here. There will NOT be a sale. China would rather nuke and burn TikTok to the ground (in the US) than the just hand it over. TikTok will be banned in the US, but it will remain to be the most popular app OUTSIDE the US (and China, which uses Douyin instead of TikTok.) And then, when TikTok is banned in the US, it can stop worrying about pleasing the US government and go full battle station in the global market outside the US, (i.e., absolutely fo full ape-mode with spreading anti-US messages.)
I agree with most of the things you said but you are underestimating CCP and the things it would do. By directly or indirectly controlling an app that is SO widely used by millions of young users in the US, CCP can censor/promote any contents it sees fits to create a negative impact in the younger generation. Let alone all the user info, data, and whatever else you “agreed to” when you sign up for the app. I am not saying the US government is any better, but I am just more aware of the stuff CCP are willing to do in order to “win the war”. The sooner tiktok escapes the grasp of CCP the better.

We already know US government controls and dictates to American social media companies that are supposedly "private" , (i.e., as revealed by the Twitter files that were released by Elon Musk.) While the Chinese government censors, US government propagandizes. Americans are actually the MOST propagandized people on the planet.
For most part, the CCP has mostly taken a hand-off approach towards TikTok, (although the same can't be said for Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok inside China.) The ONLY videos that the CCP does NOT permit on TikTok seems to be those that are too anti-China, anti-Chinese or anti-CCP, (i.e., videos that are proliferating on UA-cam.) However, I have seen TikTok videos that are anti-China and anti-CCP, as long as it does not go overboard (like the ones on UA-cam.)
On the other hand, TikTok does NOT allow anti-US videos either. The US government also has rules for TikTok. TikTok has not wanted to lose the US markets, so TikTok has to appease the US government.
So, TikTok is under constraints from BOTH the Chinese AND American government.
It is NOT up for TikTok to decide if it can be sold to American. NOR is it up to the US government. TikTok is based in Singapore, but its parent company is ByteDance, AND its technology was mostly developed in China. Therefore, by laws China CAN block a CHINESE company and CHINESE-developed technology from being sold to the US, (the US has the SAME laws that can block US companies and US-developed tech from being sold to China, and the US has already used those laws to block sales to China. So it is all fair game.)
And China WILL block it. Just as the US has blocked sales of various technology to China. It is all fair game. China can do unto the US what the US has done unto China.
Personally, I think the CCP is BETTER than the US government. The CCP does not coups all over the world to overturn governments, create chaos, cause miseries and sufferings. The CCP did not provoke one country to attack or invade another. The CCP does NOT protect and supply Israel with weapons to commit genocide. The CCP does NOT keep making up lies about fake genocides in either Xinjiang or Ukraine. Sure, the US CLAIM that it wants to spread "democracy" and "freedom". However, the truth is the US has been spreading wars, coups, invasions, occupations, genocides, miseries, sufferings all over the world -- and the CCP, as much as you hate them, does NOT do any of that.
