I hatched Smoochum year before last. I was mostly trying to get a Shinx. One issue I have with eggs is when they decrease the egg drop rate. A couple of times this event, I only got 3-5 eggs from gifts (I had the space for the eggs, the gifts just refused to yield eggs). When they had Ash Hat Pichu, I got no eggs and it was only around for 24 hours.
I like you being honest about the little moving glitch. I see you use insense during it as well. Must be super fun being able to stay inside and play the game! Shame about the odds, but I am not surprised

for those who dont know, you can get the ''DeFit'' app in play store. You turn on adventure sync in pokemon go settings, so when your not playing pogo you turn the app on and you get 10.5 km/h. It basicly lets your gps move when your not online, so the game thinks you walked and if you turn the pokemon go app back on you get the distance&hatches. This is not spoofing, doing this for years and never had a problem with it. Most people probably already use this. The content creators cant tell you this because its against the rules, but this is how they do it. if you didnt know, you can thank me later

Maybe, but remember that eggs have not always had shinies possible. So it's highly likely that you could well of hatched many of those without them even having the possibility of getting a shiny.

While it's your livelihood, and I certainly enjoy your content, it is my special cautionary proviso in that trainers *should not invest in 7km eggs and/or incubators for these events* as the chances of hatching the desired mons are low, and hatching the desired shinies are even lower, and you're more likely to end up harvesting a bunch of pedestrian clunkers.

I feel like the whole game has been nerfed in a way. I've done 170+ trades and got one lucky, usually get 3 or more per 100 trades. I've done 40+ yveltal raids and got one shiny but none with IVs above like 88-90 and the fact that furfrou seems to not be able to be shiny after 300 checks, like what plus i havent seen one person get it. The game just kinda sucks right now.

Yeah, that’s pretty unlucky, I think. I have at least 24 shinies out of 7063 eggs. I traded a few as well

Eggs might not be the greatest way to hatch shinies, but it’s by far the best way to passively grind stardust and is great for hatching hundos too
