I’ve heard lawsuits will hold this TikTok sale up much longer than 9 months. There was some case in a US state that banned TikTok years ago that still hasn’t gone to trial yet so this will take years.
As we’ve all seen, if the government wants something done they will expedite the process. Also the sale process will go through with or without any lawsuits pending on local or state level. The new owners will have to deal with them.

If TikTok does get banned, it just means new users won’t be able to download the app after the nine-month period that the government has given for the company to sell the app, while those who still have it on their phones will be able to continue using it. If I understand what has been published about it.
Sadly that’s not the case, the app will come off your phone if the ban takes place. If you use a VPN and federal authorities find out, you will most likely get sent to jail because the government probably doesn’t want to make a law and not seem like they are not enforcing it.
i mean if the tiktok shop stops, people who shop there have to move aswell right? maybe if worst case senario comes around maybe it turns out to be not as bad as it now may seem like.
