    Thanks for your vid. I have the version 2 B.I.A. and love it. Your info is extremely helpful and informative.
    Your vid is great too: Uncluttered visuals, clear sound, you get right to the point and are concise with your explanations. Your visuals match your audio content and you sound like you know what you're talking about but you're not overbearing. You have a pleasant but solid manner/tone and speak clearly (some people garble their words, or speak too quickly).
    Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for your review, it was very helpful. It was much more informative than the one I watched previously. You answered my question about using wire in both and the size that works.

    Thank you for explaining the differences between the two machines so clearly. Great demo, I really appreciate it, and it's helped me towards a decision.

    Thanks so much. I have the bind-it-all and wondered about the difference. Now I know I would like both!

    The rings according to the manufacture does need to be snug next to the back of the machine for binding and the knob has been moved to the top of the binding part to prevent any bumping that could cause the knob that was on the side from becoming loose and not hold the ring size properly. The top setting knob is harder to bump and from other videos I have takes a bit of a push down to be able to turn and adjust the binding ring size which would also prevent the egg shape from occuring in the binding. I just ordered my first cinch and I did pick it over the bind it all, size and being able to adapt it for the smaller binder style planners were a must for me. I like that you can buy either the square or round hole styles. Joann's has a special cinch from Heidi Swapp which is on sale for $66.00 right now which is why I bought it. The bind it all wires will fit in and I believe they added the 3/8ths and 1/2 inch sizes too. I will have to double check.

    It’s been almost 12 years since you made this video, and I’m sure some things may have changed but I found the explanation of differences very helpful.
    Btw: I looked through your videos but I did not find a video on the ribbon holder. I found that interesting and sure would like to see a video on how to do that

    I can get the Cinch for $79.00 At Hobby Lobby, even Amazon has it at around that price when I checked. And it's great for your kids too punch handouts for their loose leaf notebooks. And if you have one of those T0-Do journals that are so popular, you can punch your own log or calendar (or other) sheets you print on your printer and save a lot on refills Or just customize your sheets. You just pull out the punches so you have the hole pattern to match your journal, mine is 3 holes, 3 blanks, 3 holes. The Cinch is very versatile.

    Linda, do you have a tutorial on the ribbon holder you made? I would love to make some as gifts to my loyal customers

    What is the capacity for the Bind-it-all? I see lots of places that the BIA 2.0 has 35% more capacity than the original, but nowhere do I see (even on the Zutter website) what the acutal capacity of either is. What have you found for number of pages you can punch at a time? Would the Zutter punch a typical hard cover book board? How about the quality of the punches? I got a cinch, but returned it because before I had even punched enough to clean off the manufacturing oil, it was leaving ragged holes. It also said 20 sheets of 20lb paper, but I found that even with 10 sheets it tended to wrinkle the pages a bit from the effort of punching through. It punched through book boards fine because they were stiff enough to resist the pressure, but pages were ragged (even when I punched one sheet at a time) and wrinkly when I punched a stack. I'm not sure if I just got a bad machine, or if I should try a different brand. Your thoughts after having used both?

    The cinch is very difficult to close the wire smoothly. It makes the wire malformed. You end up wasting lots of wire. You didn't show the binding process which would show that the cinch does not perform as well. Bind it all wins hands down.

    I have both machines (just got the bind it all) can you use any wires with. Both machines or can you only use the cinch wires with the cinch?

    • @mama2one1
      @mama2one1 9 років тому

      +Martha Anderson This sounds like the wires are pretty much interchangeable with the exception of using wires smaller than 3/4" in the Cinch. I intend to use BIA wires in my yellow Cinch. For those smaller than 3/4, I will close with my hand. I hope this helps you. Best of luck.

      yes you can use the wires on both machines, I have both the Cinch and Bind-it-all, and I haven't had any problems using the wires for 'Both' machines...
