Fancy meeting you here Kyle 😂 I am working on turning my TJ setup a little more exploration friendly and me and my girlfriend might try some basic videos this summer
Arkansas Offroad KyleSVT I think both of you have made a start to a beautiful thing. We’ll be seeing a lot more TJ channels on the future I think and you guys paved the way. I have a 97 TJ that I’ve been in the process of building/being broke 24/7 because I have no self control, for about six years now. You two are the only references I have for TJ/Overlanding
One of the main reasons I like watching UA-cam is the real ness of it. I like seeing the mistakes and errors. I trust the videos. I like when I can see the mistakes because it will probably help me not make them. I understand that some editing needs to be done but some folks over edit them to make them look like a tv show. I enjoyed this video with the bloopers included.
I personally like the BTS of others on how they go about making their content. This is something everyone should be watching and because you are showing us/others that you don't need expensive camera equipment or software; just need your iPhone and a movie maker. It can be done! I also found your channel by searching for 'Arkansas camping trips' and I've been here ever since (& hopefully I'll see you on the trail someday!).
Your videos are outstanding. You are very knowledgeable about your subject, you provide incredibly detailed information with many practical tips which are very helpful to viewers. I got my first Jeep just last December and have yet to transition into overlanding, but I have been watching your videos for a while and I know you are a valuable resource for accurate information and best tried options/mods. To realize now you did all this with an iPhone, only confirms how resourceful you are. Thanks for sharing.
I've been following you for quite some time, because you are exactly right, I search for the words "Jeep TJ" specifically and yours came up and I subscribed immediately. I always enjoy your content and the way you edit videos are some of the best, and keep my ADHD brain engaged (that's hard to do). If I ever decide to do any videos, I will be referring back to this video for your insight and information. Thanks for sharing!
this is great! I used my iPhone X and iMovie on the phone for a year documenting on IG what I was working on as the Lead Builder for a local woodworking company here in NW Arkansas. Now that I'm starting my own custom furniture company I'm planning to dive into the youtube world and bring people along on the journey. This video helped let me know I don't need to go too fancy to get started creating content. keep up the good work Grant!
Definitely going to be getting a home office built up soon for real estate photography and videography. This was great to see, we all have to start somewhere. For a beginner, this is excellent work.
Thanks again Grant for another great video! The first video of yours I stumbled acrosss was the Extreme Detail & Cheap DIY mods. I didn't really latch on to your channel until I searched for videos with TJ content. It didn't take me long to start following you because, among other things, I love your simplistic and intuitive way of obtaining your mods. For instance, I wouldn't go out and buy a $200 pressurized water system, but I definitely would buy a $15 tank sprayer, and make my own. Our TJ's are very similar in build, and capability, and I can honestly say I recall your videos for inspiration when I go to ad a mod. Ex. my CB will be mounted the same way you did yours......another, I was in the market for some seat covers, and when I saw your RC's and how good they looked, I bought the same thing! Enough of my rambling......... Your Kentucky fan.........Mark
I've been looking to get insight and inspiration to help improve my own videos. I definitely appreciate the tips and you making this video. You've gained a subscriber too just based on this one. 🙌
I love all your videos I didn’t actually realize it was all done with just your iPhone. I’m impressed, shows you really don’t need a lot of fancy great to make great content!
Great video and channel!! We probably shot our first 150-170 videos on my iphone. Then bought a used gopro and gimbal for my mtb channel (Knobby Tires to Fredom) so that's what we shoot with now on all videos - car and mtb, lol. Keep it up, you also need to look into Express Rally Adventure Series rallies if you have not yet.
Im an East Texas overlander out of Nacogdoches, getting ready to get my channel off the ground, am very interested to see how all of the pieces work together! I'll be there
Grant, love the videos you have become one of my favorite channels. I'm just getting into editing and filming. I have some questions about youre opening sequence. How did you make the graphic for the logo and what would be a good spot to find royalty free music to add to these videos?
I have a tj with the Dana 35 and looking to do so off-roading, I am running 33x10.5 and I haven’t done any off-roading since the tire upgrade but I am wondering if I should find a Dana 44 or upgrade my axles
I've had no issues with my D35. If you're mindful when you drive, you'll be fine. I don't use the skinny pedal much and avoid wheel spin. Keep it slow and smooth!
Great video Grant!
KyleSVT Thanks dude! I think we’re literally the only TJ channels.
@@ArkansasOffroad Of course bro! Yea most people like the new stuff but or subs know :)

IMO you're one of the best Jeep channels. It's remarkable how good your footage is with just an iPhone and iMovie.
Wow, thanks for that!

Kevin Claypool Right on!!
Grant, love the videos you have become one of my favorite channels. I'm just getting into editing and filming. I have some questions about youre opening sequence. How did you make the graphic for the logo and what would be a good spot to find royalty free music to add to these videos?
Thank you so much! I use epidemic sound and pay monthly for music. I am a graphic designer, so I made my own logo in adobe illustrator.
"I'm not a die hard Jeep guy..."
- Owned one of the best budget Jeeps on YT.
Jeep TJ 2.4 L 2004. If you run across one of these maybe you could ask the owner how it works for him. I love mine. Thanks
Are you still just using imovie and your iPhone? Great video
Yep!
I have a tj with the Dana 35 and looking to do so off-roading, I am running 33x10.5 and I haven’t done any off-roading since the tire upgrade but I am wondering if I should find a Dana 44 or upgrade my axles
