Brandy was HUGE in tha 90's early 2000's. Like her popularity? She was bigger than Aaliyah and Monica for as the level of Fame she achieved back then. Brandy was more of a commercial artist then. Monica and Aaliyah was more relatable depending on who you asked. But Brandy very talented indeed.
LOL about Wanya's expressions. That is the thing about those 90s....everything was EXTRA...especially in music videos...with the serious facial expressions....the fans blowing while out on the beach, standing barefoot on rocks..LOL.
Y'all saying how "extra" he is as if that's bad thing. How you figure someone can sing a soulful song and not having no feelings or show emotions. That's what these generation of singers do sing with no emotional.
Bro I’m not even gonna hold you, Brandy is in my top 5 favorite voices of all time and she ain’t number 5 so as you continue to experience her until her peak(early 00s) and she still amazes me today some other artists (groups)that made the 90s amazing are: Hi-five, Tevin Campbell, Toni Braxton, Blackstreet and Faith Evans A suggestion for a reaction video : Raphael Saadiq “ask of you” it’ll bridge today’s music for you
I remember when this version came out and all the speculation of, "Is Brandy dating Wanya?!" and whatnot. Haha. This got good play on the radio. Yeah, Wanya was the master of over-exaggerated 1990s R&B singer expressions in Boyz II Men. LMAO!! smh... He must've learned that at the High School for the Creative and Performing Arts here in Philly. If not, he perfected it there and made good use of it for his video and stage performances. Can't imagine him doing all that crazy shit in the studio but who knows. Haha. Dude can sing his ass off tho! As for Brandy, she was young, beautiful and VERY talented and her deeper voice made seem older than she actually was + she was rocking those braids which easily made her stand out from every female singer out at that time... Could be mis-remembering this but I remember her being on the cover of the Philadelphia Daily News back in 1994 or early '95 on the strength of her debut album. At that time, Brandy's career had took off like a rocket!
Ms. Madame C., great request regarding this beautiful song. I always liked Brandy's and Wanya's voice individually; but together their voice compliment each others. Oh yeah Jammin, you as a R&B singer......hmmmm.....your subscribers need to vote on it.....

Ah I must’ve played this cassette to death. But a different version, better version imo. Can’t find it anywhere since this song is remastered every 10 years.
Ayy I’ll tell you, you’re not wrong on how R&B singers move in their videos. R Kelly and Usher used to do that all the time and I used to think it looked so fake sometimes.

She ain’t the vocal Bible for no reason
People saying the version without Wanya is better is full of it... there's a reason why they released this version
Because Boyz II Men was very popular?!?
@@KeyahD 👍🏽
Something like that ...
I love this version better than the album too
Brandy does more vocally on the solo version so that's probably why people say that but I do see why they released this version
Nice remix. I like both this & the original version.
She dated Kobe(rip) back in their early years also. Thanks for reacting to this also.
Whoever gave this a thumbs down needs to get the wax out their ears.

They dated....but she was allegedly underage...

You should listen to more Brandy when she matured. I suggest Reviewing her Afrodisiac album

What do you call your hat? Is it West African/are you West African?
It's a fulani straw hat.
Hi JJ! The album version without Wanya, is 10x better than this track in my opinion. All U have to do is listen to Brandy’s first album. Peace!
Alright I'll definitely check it out and also I'm gonna need a replacement for L.T.D. - "Love Ballad"
Brandy has a new Disney song called “Starting Now.” Can you react to it, please? Thank you. 😊
They dated briefly around this time.
I love your Channel! I've been watching for a couple of years now, Check out Brandy's First and Latest album out you'll enjoy it!
Do they have a child together? I know they were at a Whitney Houston concert together and they had a child with them. Just curious.
No
