Bought my softail slim S with the 110 new in 2016. This bike will stay with me until I can no longer ride. By far the best bike I have ever owned. Also this is the bike I have owned the longest. Usually I trade out bikes every three years. Not this one. I have a Street Glide for long trips. However, I have toured on this bike. Changed out the seat (Harley seats suck).... and added 16 inch ape hangers. Love this bike
@@1433443 I would highly recommend it as a starter bike, an advanced bike and I have toured some on it. As a shorter dude (5'6") it is VERY easy to handle. I flat foot the bike with no effort. The S is fast, nimble and light enough for a new rider. I highly recommend it for a new rider.
Fat boy slim? What hell is that? It's called a softail slim and I owned one for two years, loved it. Traded it in for a road King for the long term comfort.
My old tuned carbed bike ran like hell. Miss that bike. I’ve actually had more issues with fuel injecteds because they need tuners and dynos and all this extra crap. My carbs bike just needed a bit of tune to the pms and it was golden anywhere I took it
That's not a 'fatboy'.. there was never any such animal as a fatboy slim. If you're trying to sell it, at least know what you're riding for your viewers. The 'softail slim', which you are riding does not look even remotely close to the newer fat boys.

Is it ok as a starter bike?

Beautiful Harley, not as beautiful as a ZX-14, but beautiful anyways lol. And I was amazed at how good the FatBoy sounds.
