Also, BREAKING NEWS, as it's announced the Huskers will play Colorado on NBC, at 6:30pm/prime time in Lincoln! Sean explains that every position group is stronger this year for Nebraska than last year, expectations for the Huskers in 2024 & Sean takes Adam on a VERY interesting trip down memory lane!!

It's not one you guys mentioned, but Halloween 1992. 8th ranked Huskers at home against the hated CU Buffs who were also ranked 8th. We not only pounded the crap out of them for 4 qtrs, but even late in the 4th qtr the stadium still seemed full, and we were still screaming like it was 0-0 in the 1st qtr.......even with the score 52-7. I hope this year is a replay of that!!!!!
Alamo Bowl where we beat Michigan! Loved that we humbled that star-studded team! My niece was in the Husker marching band back then!
@@chiroguy6969 This is my favorite game of all time. Just screaming the whole time in the drizzle as Nebraska destroyed the Buffs. I also hope this is a replay of that game!
@@PaulKarl12 Yeah, toward the last couple years of the Bill McCartney era, which made it even sweeter pounding them! We gave him a nice sendoff. haha

The Colorado at night will be epic. The defense should be top notch, not sure who the running back will be, but I hope they all do well.

I remember how much fun it was before that game in Pasadena, walking around the parking area seeing all the different Nebraska counties being represented(from the license plates). Everyone was friendly and sharing!

I was in KCMO to see Zak thinking he was a tough as a lineman not wearing long sleeves in 2 degree weather. He couldn’t throw the ball across the field! And Purify turning the ball over at the start of the game spotting the Sooners 7… We came back & got close but no cigar. Keep up the good work and I am proof you can live with A Fib. stay strong brother!

I Remember 1970 71 when Nebraska had Johnny wanted to do it back-to-back. There was one of the best college team's ever had. It was great. They will get ready to give him a Mat rule you watch and see.
You mentioned when UCLA comes to Lincoln; as soon as I heard that (former Chiefs OC) Erik Bienemy was hired by UCLA; I thought that the chances were VERY HIGH that Patrick Mahomes & other Chiefs offensive players would come to that game. Those odds just increased with the release of the Chiefs’ schedule yesterday; not only are the Chiefs at home that weekend, but they don't play till Monday. The only other opportunity the Chiefs players might have to see UCLA is the day before they play the Chargers in LA (UCLA plays Oregon that weekend).
Great show! I think defense is top 10. Maybe top 5 with the early schedule. Regarding RB from what I hear I would think the Oregon transfer might be the starter if he knows the system. If not I’d go Johnson. The other two are just injury concerns and might be slowly put back in to keep them healthy early
That game is going to be a week before my wedding. Would be a great early wedding gift if we got a win. GBR!

Nebraska put everything thing in on TJ Lateef. Colorado is still got numerous QB's on their list. But good luck to him.
They prioritized him but to say they put “everything” into getting him is a stretch. He wasn’t even the first or second target.
