Im starting my first net. In a giant tree in my yard, temporarily until I get better. You're one of the only 3 helpful channels I could find to learn. You've helped me the most. Thank you.

Mustard (yellow ish) and black are by far my favourite based on how well they pair without being to flashy and how they resist the sun well!
About to start my first ever space net tomorrow and bing watching all your content nervously....
    Thanks for everything you share!

I just started my first net last weekend and I can't wait to go back to the woods next weekend to keep working on it. I made a bunch of mistakes but I'm learning as I go. Also I didn't do proper clove hitch to start but I think it will be fine.
Oh and I like forest green as it will blend in with the surroundings. It was also the cheapeast one on Amazon. I use heavdy duty strap ratchets for the perimeter.
Thanks for all your videos they have been really helpful.

I have just built a small net to practice weaving, and having more material would be awesome. I would be happy with any color cord if I could get it. We have this area of our yard that we want to weave together and plan on just doing it slowly over time, picking up material as we have the spare funds. Thank you for all the tutorials and content. The work you do is awesome!

Hello from Sauerland Germany, i absorb all your experience and output and want you to know that its a real influential input coming from your channel. I´m knotting all sorts of climbing nets, swings, slides and treepaths and unknot them on a daily basis in our forestkindergarden with thick 12mm rope. The last days i got to know about creating smaller spaces/holes with thinner cord to make these incredible nets and how to make them last for months and years. So thank you for sharing your insights and hopefully i can knot a tower with walls a couple meters high with a labyrinth inside.
    Our colour Oakgreen. Cheers Mate

Hey man! Thanks for the videos, there really isn't much information on this on YT. All other topics has hundreds of tutorials, tree nets are a bit niche it seems. For people who haven't tried this before your videos are a good source, but like everyone else here I'd like more step by step information. :D Hope you get the time and inclination to make more. Maybe have a separate channel for your slackline videos? Having two different topics in one channel can stunt the growth a bit. I know I totally skipped them and didn't subscribe at first because I saw your channel had mostly slackline related stuff. I'm subbed now though to inspire you to impart your knowledge on tensioning the perimeter. :)
Also, a question I've never seen adressed anywhere is if it's common to dismantle the net after building it to reclaim the materials. Good rope and cord is expensive, and I'd like to use them several times for practice purposes. Is this something people do? Or do people let their nets just hang til they fall apart or cut them apart?
Hope you have a great day and keep on weaving!

Hey thanks for the comment! 😊 I’m strictly doing treenet stuff on this channel now so eventually all the slackline stuff will get buried in the archives!
Most people leave their nets up until they fall apart and need to be taken down. If they’re shaded well, they can last many years!!
Keep an eye out for more detailed step-by-step videos 😊🙌🏼
