You guys just barley got that beast through some of those spots. Thank you for the video. It’s odd for me to see ferns growing on the wild. Here in the Dallas Texas area we don’t see any of that.
Looking forward to seeing the new wheels ripping. Enjoyed working with you to get them on and it turned out sick. Buell told me about the channel since you shared it with him!
Love to take my 02 7.3 EX for some mudding Got some upgrades like 37 MT tires, OME 4” lift , ARB lockers F/R, Yukon 4.56 gears F/R, ARB Front Bull bar.
Considering getting a 2001 Excursion 5.4L with 146k for $3,000. 1 owner. Bad parts are completely rusted rockers and underbody not great and the 4x4 isn't working; plus CEL is on for emissions. Drives great though. I'm so on the fence. The price is great but the rust and 4x4 not working scares me. Plus will need new tires soon.
I bought my V10 with 37s on a 7 inch lift. It came with factory 4:30s. Just upgraded to 4:88s. You are telling the truth. It's a whole different vehicle with 4:88s on 37s. The tank moves right along with traffic comfortably all the way to 80 mph.
Loved this compilation, your Ex is inspiration for mine! I also have a black exterior with the V10. What wheel width and offset or backspacing are you running? I'm currently sitting on 33" A/T and am been looking into going 37" M/T tires
The most backspace you can run is 4.5”. Anything more and you’ll run the springs. I have 18x9 wheels with 4.5 bs and 37-12.50-18 wheels. The 13.50 wide tires will rub without 1/4” spacers
Drive with Valerian a gear swap will help a lot. I have a ccsb v10 f250. I went from the stock 4.30’s to 4.88’s. I almost wish I had gone with 5.13’s for a little more bottom end grunt
@@brokenwrench404I have 4:88s on 37s with my V10. My 2 cents if it's a tow pig and off-road only then definitely 5:13s. However, I'm very happy with 4:88s since I can do 75 mph at a comfortable 2450 RPMs and even 80 at under3k RPMs for long interstate trips. Fuel economy is improved over the over 4:30s on the 4:88 on 37 set up too.
KING OF SUV’S!! 😎👍
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Glad I bought mine. It is a beast.
That thing is a beast. Very nice. And it’s very capable despite is size.
Taking some bad lines! Also go with the duel front shocks
very impressive considering Excurs' size. Almost makes me want to suggest to air down a bit in order to get you some more traction!
thanks for sharing
Nice love browns camp, always like to see how different vehicles overcome the same obstacles.

Imagine off-roading an 8k pound hunk of steel. 👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice, love excursions
That looks like fun. I’ve never wheeled b4. Would love to do it with my Burb.

Love this thanks for uploading!
Great vid. Shocked you’re running 3.73’s with 37’s. Put some 4.88’s down n it and it will pull like a tank
Running that with a 5.4 and it has no issues turning tires at all.

Love my v10 Ex. What lockers if any are you running? I'm looking at adding the Eaton Trutracs front and rear in mine.
There are no lockers on the truck yet. Definitely something I'd like to change in the future :) Same with new gearing.

Impressive, is this excursion tuned, which tunner you are using?
How wide is the SUV???
Ahh the good old ford explosion, she's a big girl!
Well ain't no power stroke. but it'll do.
Which Flowmaster is this?
😍wow
3:44 where is that location?Coordinates
stock 373 gearing? im looking to do the same to my excursion
Yes, it is still stock, but improved gearing would help this truck a lot. Lift kit and bigger tires made a noticeable difference.

There goes 40 gallons of ⛽️

When I just came to us 18 years ago I thought arericans stupid. Now I own one 7.3 and I’m prowed to be American
It's PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
It's great but it consume a lot of gas ⛽
That truck is too big to be taking them trails
Don't think it cares lol
Well, that does not look like offroad.
Is a driving in road. I see roads there.
Offroad is different.
what is that metal scraping noise when accelerating? buddy has a 92 explorer that does the same thing
Have you ever heard of for low you need more practice
