Most Armys don't even know , how much effort he put in every bts songs , it takes talent and hours of time to record background vocals with different tones , adlibs and harmonization. He is not Main vocalist for nothing.

I can’t imagine how big the responsibility he has as a main vocalist... it’s not just having most lines but the amount of time and effort he put in a song, he do background vocals, adlibs, harmonization, tracking guide that’s why I understand why he is doubting himself at the beginning because it’s really a lot of work but he succeeds, look what they achieved... the main vocalist of the most successful band of this generation....long live Jungkook... borahae
I can't imagine what pressure that it must have been to be the main vocalist at the age of 15. He is not only the main vocalist, but also center, lead dancer and sub rapper! He workes so hard! He deserves so much more love and appreciation for his roles in the group 💜

Jungkook has a rare voice in kpop.
I've always been attracted to Jungkook's vocals since I first heard I Need U and Begin, these two songs struck me in 2015 even though I never knew who the BTS members were. Jungkook has the most versatile vocals I've ever heard and he knows his strengths since he said his voice can change to suit the vibe of a song. I think this is where he excels, he can fit his voice to any melody and pull it off perfectly.
This video is the closest I have ever seen to give justice to Jungkook`s hard work and rights to be the main vocalist. I feel like among the members, Jungkook`s work is being undermined way too much compared to other members. Not that any of them are working less hard or deserves the recognition less, but because of Jungkook`s natural talent and tendency to be slightly closed off, people tend to overlook that I feel.
He is in no way undermined or ignored, so don't worry! He is given artistic freedom and everything he needs to grow personally and professionally.
Don't fall into the train of thought that he is being used and can't think for himself. That way is the dark path to solo stanning. 🥶

ARMY loves each and every member. There is no forgotten artist. We see everyone's potential and can only dream of what's to come for each and every one of the OT7.
JK is never closed of on stage. He gives us everything. He's etched us into his skin. He loves ARMY so much he says he thinks he's addicted to it. A person can not love that deep and true without receiving love in kind.
I totally agree with you bc a lot of fans connect more to the ones who are always loud and crazy... he actually has been coming out of that shell and being more open and just being him ya know. He doesn’t do things to please ppl or make fans feel a certain type of way by flirting with the camera and stuff off stage... it’s just not who he is. On stage he doesn’t do that either which is something that drives lots of armys crazy for other members but it’s just not his style. There’s nothing wrong with their style and nothing wrong with his. His talent is definitely unappreciated in the sense that he really does so much more than ppl even realize when it comes to the music. He’s been the main vocalist, dance line , sub rapper and center of this amazing group since he was 14-15 years old? That’s insane and so much pressure for such a young boy... golden maknae and all that... he’s never felt like that’s him and feels like he has to push to fulfill those things for armys... that’s sad to me. I don’t think that his members or label undermine him at all in what I’m saying bc he has the greatest support system and people around him and they’re always making sure that he knows how good he is and what he’s really capable of. The only issue that I have with the way armys look at him sometimes is that bc ppl think it’s just so “easy for him” or “he’s naturally gifted,” or stuff like that... like greatness is expected out of him so it’s not as special to people... when in reality this kid puts so much pressure on himself as the youngest and just never wanted to be a burden for his members. I think people have no clue everything he is responsible for as a main vocalist and I’m so happy Ida did this to bring some of the special things he does to peoples attention. In the US a main singer would just have the most parts... that’s just not how it is with bts or kpop. Here in this video jungkook admits to not even taking vocal lessons lol like what?!?!?!? But he didn’t just become that good easily... he was singing all day everyday as much as he could... and it’s funny bc in all their stuff off stage he really is always singing lol way more than you see the others randomly singing... it’s just become a habit for him to always sing in a a sense... but I get what you’re saying 100% , you’re not talking about his members or anythingand it doesn’t make you a solo stan for feeling that way IMO. I love every member and each one has their own specialties that make them the leader of that role in the group on and off stage. Some things are things that are obvious and easily detectable.. but when it comes to vocal recording and production... a lot of his major roles are not things the average listener could just pick out... so again I love this video for showing some of what makes this his forte and his strength. That’s why they’re so good to me... each one excels at things and could be better at others... but where one lacks... another has in excess so they balance each other out, learn from each other and support each other... I get what you’re saying I think. I’m glad there are people who fight or speak up for all 7 members so no one gets left out in areas 🥰
Its a very good video to show his role as main vocalist. As main vocalist he has many responsibilities but sadly many armys don't even know about his responsibilities. As for singer yes he is an excellent singer but main vocalist is excellent singer plus other responsibilities.

Ida has been doing a wonderful job putting out high quality edits and compilations. I would really like to see more from that channel as it takes a deeper dive into what actually happens behind the scenes. As you said, it’s awesome hearing the praise from people who actually worked with him. I rather have that insight than just a compilation of him singing (which is good in itself). And let’s hope for a rapper JK appearance in JJK1! 👏

I'm so glad you reacted to this video. He is the most amazing singer I have ever seen. The best main vocalist. Also in Korea, he is called the Korea's National Treasure.
My heart to this golden boy and the blessing that he is to us and the world. BTS is such a special group and I think something that always always always is something I’ve never seen in any other group as of now… is that there’s seriously no jealousy when it comes to each other and their success individually as well as duos or trios. These boys started from the bottom with no money, no respect and an uphill battle for them especially in their own country. This type of come up will make or break groups… but bts has been ride or die since day 1… they never shy away from hyping each other up, picking each other up when they’re down and leaning on each other when they need to. These boys thrive bc they celebrate one another , build each other up selflessly bc at the core their bond is so special… so strong born out of authenticity and they really are a family. They grow together, they develop together, they suffer together and they thrive together. They’re not focused on being the star… wanting to stand out above the rest… they all just want to be the best for each other and for army. Instead of one of them being the best in one area and letting others just figure it out alone… they stop and help each other in an area where they need it so they can constantly grow together…even before debut somehow they had this relationship and it’s truly a story that if one little thing went a separate way… then they may not be who they are today…. They’re the reason that I have started to believe in fate… bc these 7 were brought together for a reason. They had to get knocked down so many times so that we could all rise up together with an unshakable bond. I think the 2018 AOTY speech and hearing that they contemplated disbanding…. And this may sound crazy but I think the reason they were able to push through all that difficult time period… was bc the universe knew that the pandemic was like less than a year from that speech. So many lives changed forever in the worst way possible during this pandemic and if you read how many army who were born during this time where we all had nothing positive to think about and how many of us have had terrible days… and all it takes is one bts video to cheer you up and be a positive outlet and community to be a part of. That may sound crazy to most ppl but I don’t care lol the universe knew that the world was going to need them… give us a reason to believe in good people and perseverance and bringing so much light into a time filled with darkness. I know this is a jungkook video and he is my ultimate bias… but looking at his journey… it just solidifies how I feel about all of this . Okay I’m done ranting… lost myself for a moment . Bottom line is that I love him, I love them and I love army…. Biggest family support system in the world 💜

My comment might trigger some of you because people are always gonna come after with their fake ot7 agenda (a true ot7 army loves all of the members and doesn't get pressed whenever one member, in this case Jungkook, gets complimented and loved. If you do get pressed: then I suggest you reflect upon yourself and ask if you are an army or not). Now, onto my long speech:
Jungkook deserves more and should be more loved and appreciated by the whole fandom rather than just us who have Jungkook as our bias. I feel like Jungkook is more of a silent doer, he's not someone who really speaks about how much work he's doing or done - he's someone who works very hard behind the scenes. But I respect that a lot. It shows his true nature - a kind and strong passionate human being. The fandom on it's whole should appreciate Jungkook more. As someone has already written this, Jungkook's work is actually often undermined compared to the other bts members. He's the main vocalist yet people can't digest that so they say that there is no such thing as main because everyone in the vocal line is great now. That's not how it works fam, being the main vocalist is his job. Just because the others have also improved it doesn't mean that Jungkook's job and position as main vocalist is gone. On the contrary, with the years he has worked even more and harder to build up BTS' songs and he is the backbone of BTS' vocals. He's the soul of BTS, just like Namjoon is the heart of BTS.
And - sure as hell BTS vocal line is amazing, but Jungkook is at the top in the whole music industry. He's one of the best singers in kpop and western pop I bet, especially if you watch all the vocal coaches, critics and experts praising him and analyzing his vocals. Both within korea and globally. And no, those vocal coaches I've watched on yt don't sugarcoat anything at all nor are they biased. Their bias probably isn't Jungkook yet they cannot deny that Jungkook is indeed a phenomenal singer (Adam Mishan for ex, or Justin Burke (dunno about his bias but he deffo loves Jungkook's voice!))- that shows how good he is. Korean music critics love his unique voice as it's not a common vocal timbre in kpop. He's a gamechanger as a main vocalist - he's not the type to belt or just hit highnotes just because he can and just cram it all in like most other main vocalists in kpop does. He knows how to deliver the song and how to make it sound amazing. He knows his style yet also knows how to use the right vocal techniques. That is the reason why many juniors look up to him. Some people don't find JK's vocals impressive just because he doesn't hit extremely high notes all the time - ya'll should know that Jungkook can go extremely high but he won't just for the sake of a highnote. He can go really high and sound like an angel (like a choir or something). I remember him singing a snippet for Taiwanese fans of a Taiwanese song that's close to their heart. I got shocked because he doesn't showcase those superhigh notes in BTS' songs. Just shows how Jungkook is a diamond, a star who is still undiscovered because we haven't seen his full potential yet. Whatever he does he does it with sincerety and love. It's annoying how people think that high-notes equals great singer. That is not the case at all. A great singer is one who knows how to deliver emotions and still keep his own identity. Thank you for coming to my TED talk 😵🥰💜

It really is such a shame you guys won't be watching the rise of bangtan with us. It feels like you're watching run bts without us, that's the comparison. 😂 It's such a great series and includes so many logs, bangtan bombs, reality shows, back stage shots and seeing your reaction or thoughts on the whole thing would've been great. Love this reaction, jungkook can do many things with his voice and melt it together with any genre. Love to see more "in the jungle" vibes from him.
He is so insanely talented. He is definitely naturally gifted, but he has also worked incredibly hard to achieve the vocal power that he has today. Every beautiful sound that comes out of his mouth sounds so effortless. We all know how humble he is when talking about his abilities, but he really is one of the most talented vocalists I have ever heard!

Firstly, I am not trying to discredit any of BTS member here cause i love the 7 of them. But when it comes to what's going behind the BTS song that we always hear, one of part is recording the roles of main vocal are really important.
Almost the guide tracks of BTS sung by JK, so he learned it first before any member to guide the member while recording. He always add some adlibs and background vocal to fill the gaps that member left so BTS song are more rich. That's why JK always took more time while recording. JK maybe often becomes the last person leave recording room cause he will give adlibs, harmonizing with other member, or doing the background vocal like Suga said when recording In the Soop ost, "don't worry jungkook will handle it", or when RM live and ask to JM or V (I forget), "what are you doing here?" and he answer "waiting for JK to finish recording". And also remember when jin said about recording Jamais Vu, he already record beautiful high note adlibs but cause JK say no, so that adlib doesn't make it. That's why he almost know the lyrics of BTS's song even that are not his part.
But that's not the point, the point is when it come to his role as main vocal, he knows what he's doing, knows what touch this song needs, and he expresses it well with using his voice.
Not only one producer I've heard about JK's versatility voice that what producer need when recording. The fact that JK's voice in the studio version or live version are the same cause he always ate CD. His voice is clear but it has color and can pull off any kind of genre. Like Jhope said, JK's voice was a gift, he was born with that blessing.

Many Army's overlook jungkook hardwork , bcs of his natural talent, they don't realized , how much time he have to spend in studio for recording all these background vocals which fills the songs.
For Center position, vocals and dance moves should be powerful at the chorus and Needs so much stamina especially in concerts.
