Jungkook king of acapella by Ida s is something I think you’ll love bc you love that airplane pt 2 clip of him singing acapella but it’s got a lot of clips of him on a livestream singing raw and it’s really so cool to hear his voice like that…. I prefer no mic just straight out of his mouth and it’s the best sounds imo… it shows a better variety of what he can do bc it’s got songs other than bts so shows different range and styles for sure!! 26:31 omg you’re speaking my language my dude… ad libs are my favorite and I think that’s how jk started to take over as my favorite vocalist anywhere… he has the best ear for music and his adlibs are always SO GOOD!!!! I love that even if they perform a song over and over you will always here new random adlibs from jungkook. I don’t think people even notice he does a lot of harmonys with the rappers and more rap ad libs all the time too… it is my absolute favorite and he just does it so well. Jk does most of the adlibs for bts tho… like high key… most are him
JK has perfect pitch. He can literally pick up anywhere with any member and sing with them. He sings most of their track guides and even guides to others members solo works. He does literally most backing vocals and is THE harmony king. Jk is already such a Vocal legend already at such a young age.
The song that producer was talking about is BTS’ Pied Piper. He specifically singled out jungkook as the one who understood the vision of the song the best and praised his skills! You should check it out!
I love the way JK’s voice floats through so many of their songs. Just adding that touch that is BTS. He never overwhelms the other members, his background just supports and blends so beautifully while letting everyone shine and have their moment.
He's very much angelic in both appearance & sonics (hence my thumbnail lol).
Jinbo worked on Pied Piper and Anpanman with BTS. Jungkook worked with vocal trainers until he saw that what they were guiding him toward was changing his technique and tones in ways he didn't like. So he stopped vocal lessons and works on improving his idiosyncrasies himself.

When you said you "were drifting " listening to JK's background vocals, that is how I feel about listening to JK'S voice. It is an experience, he takes to a place we've never been to experience something we've never experienced. 💜
I think Jungkook is an incredible singer and an even more incredible live performer. He is definitely growing and maturing artistically. I like the lives so much better because we hear the voices in a rawer version. If you like adlibs, oh please, do yourself a favor and watch a full BTs concert. Muster Sowoozoo, PTD online or PTD onstage, any old or new concert. BTS and JK live for the concerts, and the concerts even through a screen are what made me ARMY. Which is surprising because I am always always disappointed by artists live and avoid it like the plague (except a very very few artists like Beyoncé).
I watched one virtual concert of there's last year & I also react to some live stuff on my patreon. They're so good live so I'll definitely have to do more.

Ida S´s videos are really a great source of info for whoever wants to learn more about Jungkook and his craft. There are so many people ( also among Armys) who have 0 understanding what a position of a main vocalist truly means. There is ton and ton of hard work with hundreds of extra hours put in, and enormous load of responsibility that nobody sees and very few appreciate or are willing to acknowledge. How many times have I heard that his position of main vocalist should be scrapped as a relic from the past. BS. Only ignorant fools can make such a statement. You can go and pick whatever is your liking, Ida makes mostly videos dedicated to Jungkook´s skills and his artistry and I love how factual they are. No nonsense stuff really.
You mentioned you like raw vocals and ad libs - you can find videos like that on her channel too - JK singing a cappella, JK singing during vlives, JK harmonizing with others, JK rapping, JK´s ad libs and harmonizing. The man doesn´t shy away from singing anywhere, any time, any genre you throw at him - pop, rock, country, Korean trot, R&B, rap. It is pretty obvious that must know and trust his voice fully and completely by now, as he is the most of times the only one who can improvise on the spot with no preparations. There is so much out there to listen to and maybe you are not even aware that a week ago BTS has released a solo song "Stay Alive, sung by Jungkook, all written and produced by Suga, made for their webtoon.

That's true. Most of the people don't really understand or appreciate his vocals and the hardwork he put's in. You said everything that I wanted to say. And thank you for saying that about jungkook.
I couldn't agree more. Jungkook is undeniably a phenomenal vocalist, accept it or not. The dedication he has to constantly improve his craft, His range, his ability to sing any genre, his effortless singing, his stability, his consistency in live performances & heavy choreo, the emotions he lets us feel when he sings, even his English covers sound so good, the list just goes on & on. He's the only only who can sing acapella on the spot or do an adlib/bg vocals live w/o any preparation. BTS is really lucky to have him just like how Tae acknowledged it. And acknowledging his talents does not in any way diminish the talents of any of the other members. Each one brings something unique to the table and together they are a force to reckon with.
Jungkook works incredibly hard behind the scenes. When ARMY watch this video for the first time, they realize how little they actually know about Jungkook's abilities and responsibilities. The sad part is ARMY genuinely don't like to talk about the members' positions because ARMY wants to give all members equal credit, so they pretend as though all the members are equally talented. I'll just say it - if Jungkook wasn't in the group, BTS would still be centered around rap and hip-hop. Because BTS has 2-3 world-class rappers, but only one world-class vocalist. BTS would have never survived the transition away from rap into pop music and the global music scene without Jungkook.
Yes, as an ot7 army, this is absolutely true. Noone gives the credit Jungkook he deserves. Because everyone is used to how good he is. This makes me sad because he's better than almost half of the industry.

@@AmariLeone Just an extra tid-bit, Jungkook did all of the vocal ad-libs even in the early years, before they had heavily produced live sets with special mics like they do now. You should check out Jungkook singing on Vlive to see how good he is a-capella

always love your insights and comments. The one clip in the video was of DJ Swivel, He produced( co-produced?) Magic Shop and Euphoria. There is a video of him talking and breaking down the whole production of Euphoria. There are 2 versions - a long one and a short one. One is a masterclass on the Full Sail University and the other is on his personal channel. You might enjoy it as you are into music production.
Really enjoyed the video! Jungkook is such an incredible talent and always works so hard to constantly improve despite already being amazing.

Wow what a great reaction! This is one of very few reaction videos (if not only one) that I haven't skipped through, I literally watched the entire 38 minutes and 32 seconds of it. Throughout the reaction, you were genuinely appreciating the artist JK. I would have loved to watch the unedited over 50 minutes video as well. Again thank you for being genuine for the reaction! Sadly, we don't get many of videos like this anymore.

Yes, watched it all the way through. Yes at 17:40'ish the song is The Truth Untold. Another great one of just the vocal line is House of Cards. Film Out (earlier in the video showing background vocals with blonde-haired JK staring at you) was a song Jungkook co-wrote with Japanese artists and became an OST for a Japanese movie. I'd love a reaction to it if you can. Also the song where they were in the black or dark blue suits that you said looked like Heaven, was Life Goes On, and that performance was part of 2020 Melon Music Awards "live" but with no live audience due to pandemic. I'd love a reaction to that whole award show performance (4 songs). There is also a music video for Life Goes On, which Jungkook directed. Also, Jungkook recently sang and Suga produced a song for their Webtoon, which is absolutely amazing. I'd love for you to react to that. It's called "Stay Alive" and the Webtoon is called 7 Fates: Chakho. The full song is 3-1/2 minutes and is on Spotify, Itunes, etc., but there is a shortened version with a Promotional video on 7 Fates: Chakho by HYBE youtube channel. Last, I am pretty sure Ida S, or someone, has a video of just Ad Libs and Background Vocals done by JK. I have noticed more recently that other vocalists in the group are starting to do more background vocals now too, but I'm not aware of specific videos about them.

If you go watch different versions of the same song in live you can hear Jungkook do different ad libs for the same song. Songs like House of Cards, or Life Goes On. You are killing me its Truth Untold that you are listening to over and over with the 4 of the vocal line and Jungkook adlibing all over the place and yes that to he changes how he adlibs depending on the live performance and that one Jungkook covered for Jimin who was sick and once Jimin covered for V who was sick and Jungkook harmonized differently than when he harmonizes for V. Not leaving a time stamp because you saw it was Truth Untold love watching you so glad your back 💜

19:53 is film out but don’t know if you did it but just thought I’d tell you that jungkook is one of the main writers on the song “film out,” and it’s a Japanese song that’s an ost … but something really cool that jungkook said about the song was that he wanted to melody of “film out “ to be his voice… now I’m not exactly sure what he meant by that.. but if you see them sing it live jungkook is singing literally the entire song… his parts and harmonizing with all he vocalists and also the rappers as well as his ad libs… but seriously he’s singing the whole song at some way shape or form and even though I don’t exactly know what he meant…. I still totally understand that the song sounds like jungkook start to finish… the vocal pars are so fire and the raps are unique and powerful .. but jk loves layered harmonies so there’s def a lot of that in it but thought that was cool

I think JK does many of the vocal guides but funny enough, RM also makes some and the group does joke about it sometimes. Difference in Vocal guide of rapper like Rm and Jk is
Rm Makes for melody of song.
So singers can pickup the melody.
But Jungkook vical guide is for notes which only singer knows.
Which note is best for melody or how to sing lower higher notes.
But Rm voice is also nice 💜.

@@AmariLeone Jungkook does ALL of the official vocal guides. RM does some demos, esp the rap-heavy ones, and various other members (only if they are involved in production or writing, which is not often for non-rapline members) contribute to the guides. But Jungkook records all of the official demos after the songwriting process is complete, and sometimes he's involved in the writing himself. Jungkook has perfect pitch so the song starts with him. Don't let "army" confuse you. They like to bury facts in confusion, lol, and they love to shoe-horn other members (like op slipping V in there randomly) to distribute credit as broadly and vaguely as possible.
@@johnjungkook2721 I apologize if I'm interpreting your comment incorrectly but it's giving me strong solo stan vibes. Did you watch the video op linked? It mostly shows demos that the members made, often for melodies they wrote themselves (in this case Jungkook, RM, Jimin, V, and Jhope), they mention nothing of discrediting how Jungkook does the vast majority of guides for BTS' albums (the "Chorus" credit) and how in the case of other members' solo works like 'Dear My Friend' or 'So Far Away' for Suga for his mixtapes he sometimes helps too. However the picture you seem to be trying to get across here is that other members don't have the capability to or never do the official guides which just isn't true. Just off the top of my head, both Jhope and RM are credited often particularly for rap guides. V and Jimin did the final guides for Stigma and Filter, Jin has done his own guides for his solo projects. Suga obviously does the same. All ARMYs know what a huge amount Jungkook does in his many roles within the group just like all the members do in their different roles. Wanting to show off any member's musical or artistic contributions to the group doesn't imply they are discrediting others. Rather than op's comment, it is comments like these that come across with the intent to discredit.
@@johnjungkook2721 this is so true, I really don’t understand people who are not satisfy for Jk’s always start almost every BTS’s song, it’s simply because he’s perfect pitch so they can’t go wrong, not to mentione that it first part of the song could draw listener’s attention which Jk’s voice did (this happen to me when I first time listened to BTS’s song)

Jungkook Mostly do chorus/ intro parts with heavy choreo .
Jk has incredible stamina and breath control.
They are human they can be tired.
And exhausted.
But they love to perform.

Hi! Sounds like his solo on the song "On". Watch James Cordon Carpool Karaoke with BTS singing in the car....Jungkook does this in the car!!! O frequently to LA to see them at SoFi as they are my favorite for th e past 2 years getting mrcthrough a difficult time when My Mother was ill and passed away September 20. By a miracle from God and very dear friends I was able to run away to LA. Incredible, sensational .etc etc..... V (Kim Taehyung) is my favorite but I love,love, all of them ...JK and Jimin are right up there also....so talented in every way! Also Jimmy Fallon they did this at Grand Central Stadium!!! Enjoy
