People don't realize how much extra work Jungkook does behind the scenes as the main vocalist. We only see the finished song but he's the one who adds the depth and layers to all the songs. He must spend so much extra time in studio to record the vocal guides, adlibs, harmonies, doubling under the other members, etc. He does a lot of it for the live concerts as well. He's such a versatile and talented vocalist !
And I think people forget he’s had this role the whole time! I can’t imagine my 12-13 year old self carrying so much responsibility😭 the pressure must have been insane

I feel like sometimes people underappreciate jungkook's vocals because he doesn't make it looks 'hard' when he is singing? idk how to say but he always looks comfortable when singing (including high notes) and always compliment others' voices so well that I feel like sometimes people think it's easy and overlook it🤨
I totally feel the same way...he sings adlibs and high notes with so much ease and doesn't make it look hard.. so some people don't realize that he actually did something GREAT there.🤷♀️

I think that since he sings so easily people tend to miss out on him or think he is always like that becoz he always sings so good even if it is live and with dancing . Since he always have a stable vocal no matter the situation people sometimes becomes oblivious to that fact n underappreciate him That's it

Jungkook been my bias for almost 10 years. I was instantly drawn to his pure talent at such a young age
army always complain him for getting more lines but the amount of work he is doing behind this is uncountable. From Vocal guides to Harmonisation for everything they need Jungkook. He even gave vocal lessons to other BTS members. BTS members praising JK not just because of their friendship they absolutely know his importance. so, Jungkook is the most hardworking guy among them and He is the Main vocalist for reason.
How could people literally complain that the MAIN vocalist is getting the most lines!? That’s why he is the main vocalist, he can harmonize with all the members, has the most stable voice while singing and dancing, he fills in for absent/sick members, and does all the adlibs for BTS songs. His voice carries the songs and balances with the other members. Sometimes fans need to understand how positioning works.

@HyunaS the reason people say jk works the hardest is because yes he's contributed to songwriting/composition/producing for some songs. But the main reason he spends the most time in studio is because he has to make the vocal guide for everyone and record his parts, then wait for everyone to do their parts. Then he goes back in to do all the background vocals, adlibs, harmonies, doubling under the other members, etc. He has mix the track to make sure it all flows. Then their stage manager says jk is almost always the last one to leave rehearsals. There are plenty of behind the scenes showing everyone left and jk is doing the medley and other parts by himself. And yes, then on stage he does his parts along with harmonies and adlibs. He does his job as main vocalist, lead dancer, and center impeccably since he was 15 years old so I would say he does shoulder an immense amount of responsibility as RM and other members have said many times. I would say RM is on a similar level because he has a lot of extra responsibilities as the leader and he's written most of their songs. The rest of the rapline write their own verses but RM is the one who's written most of their dischoreography. Their in house producers do most of the production.
Jungkook was only 13 when he joined Bighit and he was 15 when BTS officially debuted. I just can't imagine moving away from my family and friends at 13 like Jungkook did. Please rest well Jungkook and I hope we will see you Sunday at the Grammys.

People don't realize how much he does for BTS. Recording the vocal guides - all their parts - first so they can learn the songs is incredible! Then all the background vocals and ad libs. I never even knew there Was such a thing as a vocal guide before watching this the first time. I do wish he had more solo long parts too, though, because I don't think people appreciate his talent enough really. He also has the most stable voice when dancing, at least within BTS. Praying he recovers quickly and fully - he got COVID upon arriving in the U.S. recently and is quarantined in a hotel room. Ugh.

It’s the only thing I don’t like about him 😂 he is like the opposite of attention seeking and works so so so hard and puts in more hours than anyone else according to the group. I think it was listening to what they say about jungkook and how they say things about jungkook and singing…. Like it isn’t that they just say nice things to each other to say them… they don’t say these high compliments to everyone else for the same reasons… the boys only speak the truth about one another and ever for hype each other… he’s every inch and still gets so under appreciated it’s so frustrating honestly.. he’s starting to seem a little more open about it and feeling good about where he is vocally and dance wise in a way that he can openly share with us… he’s no little boy… and I’m so proud of him

I’m so excited for the future of bts but also jungkook as an artist… I’m dying for his mixtape bc it’s just going to take one to give him that confidence boost and he will be unstoppable… sky’s the limit. It really frustrates me as well bc if you only listen to bts group music.. then you’ve seen like 40% of what he can do with his voice.. they’ve been working together so long that they’re in a place where they all sing the same style for every song bc they know that all so well .. and his parts definitely show so little of how good he is that it’s sad… it’s why I recommend like Ida s jungkook acapella video or any vlive to hear raw vocals no filter or anything to alter his voice .. and he’s been doing it for years.. lately with a microphone so it’s a little different but still beyond impressive. I love this video but what sis said in the end is true: it doesn't do justice to Jungkook's vocals, he really is a gifted boy. His voice is amazing on their studio versions, he always goes hard on ad-libs and backgroud/hidden vocals, but when you hear them live you experience a new level of his talent. He's not real, I'm convinced.

Considering both v and jimin go to jungkook for vocal advice and they’re wildly different performers…. Def wouldn’t say jimin and Tae together would be jk lol jungkook is extremely unique and so are the others… but nah that’s how we know you don’t know jungkook very well. You can love them all and there’s no need to choose .. it’s very okay to have other biases and just bc you get to know about another member it doesn’t mean your bias is at risk lol I promise you jimin and v would want you to love them all regardless of being your faves and give them all that respect. Jungkook didn’t just become the main vocal of this talented group…. They all trained together… but jungkook busts his ass to be as good as he is… and debuted as the main vocalist bc he’s the most skilled vocalist all around, only vocalist who is a sub rapper bc he’s so good at that as well, trained and became the lead dancer even though Jhope had like 8 years dance training before bts and jimin had like 4-5 years dance training before bts and jungkook had none… but somehow he worked so hard to be able to debut in the original dance line with just him Jhope and jimin…. It says a lot about how hard he works… it’s the reason he’s the “center” of bts and jungkook is actually the “face of the group.” He explained why lessons didn’t work for him and it wasn’t that he thinks he’s too good at it…. It was basically bc taking lessons kinda trains everyone to sing a certain way…. So he had a comfort ability with how he sings and he was above average just to start… but at the time that they start working on music to debut and stuff they would have less time to take lessons but bc jk has an eclectic taste in music…. He basically finds songs he loves and then works at singing that song like that person… male, female, English , Korean…. And the unique way he sings is bc he doesn’t sing one way lol he is the most stable vocalist I’ve heard considering his parts are during the harder parts of choreo… but he’s kept himself physically strong… which helped with his stamina and his crazy breath control. Jungkook is a prodigy and an extremely hard worker… he puts in time that others may choose not to bc this is his dream… you guys really have such a small amount you really know about what he can do.

His dedication to his craft is awe-inspiring. He is showing passion in everything he does. And I love how he never stops learning, trying out new things. For example he started getting dance lessons to learn “house style” dancing. His constant urge to get better at no matter what he does even though he is already good is really admirable. He truly deserves all of his titles and all the praises he gets.

This content does justice to JUNGKOOK, because on many occasions it is dismissed.
But truth be told, he is the Pillar of the group and I don't think so alone, RM makes it clear, in an interview I quote "We have come far thanks to you" referring to JUNGKOOK.
But there will be those who can't stand that idea and will constantly try to bring it down.
But the truth is that his TALENT speaks for itself.
ROLLING STONES Magazine recently called him "YOUNG GENIUS POLYMATH" because they consider him to be in the category of people with multiple abilities and talents.
Compared to Leonardo Da'Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, and others.
He is a Multitalent, that's why RM, I call him the GOLDEN MAKNAE.
He is good at everything he does and this encompasses an incredible number of skills.

It's not actually unheard of... It's not too common, but, there are singers who seem to have been able to sing well without lessons... Tina Turner is an example, she seemed to have known how to sing, by instinct. Her family worked on the fieds, she never was taught how to sing, just knew how. Edit: And yes, it's true Jungkook doesn't like to be coached to develop a "traditional technique", since he prefers stylistic choices and a more modern style, but, it's also true he compensates by singing all the time... Since he gets bored easily and doesn't like formal lessons, he developed the habit of singing to himself during the day, sporadically, every day... That's how his voice maintains his training, and how he developed a very good pitch accuracy.

You know what I always wonder about....? I often hear. "OH that's comming from RM, that's comming from J-Hope, oh Suga said it". Said with respect. But when it comes to Jungkook, even when he is MAIN vocalist, you never hear "Oh, that's comming from Jungkook". Like he has no over a decade singing experience in the biggest group in the world.
Jk is SO humble and he’s also an introvert… he’s not an attention seeker and he doesn’t even pretend to be cocky to get his voice out there more and stuff like that. It’s when I wish jk was flashier or an attention seeker bc it helps them appear bigger than life. I mean even when he does something special like produce or write a song and stuff it’s never him that we hear it from … half the time we find out from Tae or rm lol they’re always putting it out there for him bc he really doesn’t hype himself at all.
I mean he’s the main vocalist even though he had no experience singing before bts either.. people are so amazed with others vocal growth but he was singing the same as they were , he was the only vocalist who is a sub rapper bc he’s so good at it, he debuted as the “center” of bts bc he’s such a dynamic performer and has a level of skill that’s shocking at his young age… I mean so Jhope had like 8 years training in dancing before bts, jimin had like 4-5 years before bts but somehow jk was the only other member to debut in the dance line after only dancing for two years and stand next to our main dancers who are absolutely insane dancers and so special on their own…. That’s a big deal… he’s the face of the group and he’s been killing himself behind the scenes but he doesn’t open up about it and cry talking about that stuff in camera unless it’s an event … he’s not as vocal about his emotions and all his struggles bc he wanted to be someone that they never had to worry about… and he was which is why when he got so sick in Chile and was fainting… rm said “I finally realized that jungkook is human,” bc jk never complained and always was at the top of his game… he just does it without sharing or ever really showing how hard he works at everything so I’m thankful that his hyungs help share that information and show how truly special he is .. especially like this when it’s like they just don’t get it and kinda mocked him throughout the video and totally missed the point of most of what he said.
Jungkook talking about his singing and how he still is lacking and should work on that more… but explained he has a style he likes to sing with and really worked on not losing that… and they took “he’s so confident in himself and knows he’s so good so why would he get lessons,” when jk has always been so insecure and never thinks he’s good enough… it’s like it’s bc he’s the youngest or something… even though his hyungs constantly explain how they look up to him in a lot of ways lol it’s so frustrating

An interesting thing that not many people consider or think about too much is that he as a main vocalist of BTS whose responsibility is to make vocal guides for all of their songs and also potentially cover for any of the members if situation called for it is also the only person in BTS who practically needs to learn ALL of their discography fully, not just his lines, all choruses, adlibs, harmonies and runs but virtually all of it. He demonstrated that ability many times over and over on many instances when they tried ( during BTS Runs or various games they played) to remember lyrics to their old songs and sometimes they just couldn´t, but JK always did:-) When people so easily dismiss importance of his main vocalist position and see it as an empty title with nothing solid behind it or something outdated it just shows they know nothing... ignorance truly is a deceptive bliss....so much respect and adoration for this young man :-) One in a million.

They just totally missed what suga was saying bc they were talking about roots lol it’s seriously something suga has never said about anyone else lol also then they are saying jungkook is confident in himself when he was just saying how much he is lacking… it’s not remotely what he was saying… the whole reason people wanted them to watch it was to pay attention and listen to what’s being said… not every once in awhile lol they missed quite a bit which you know it happens… but there’s really not too much info or coming to fast and it would be nice if they paid attention like it was their biases talking. Bts is 7 and any of them and their story’s matter …. And I don’t need jungkook to be anybody bias lol but to be respectful is for damn sure going to need to be given. Jungkook is the one harmonizing and back vocals… jungkook helped produce “film out” and his whole purpose was “wanting his voice to be the melody,” which is why there’s so much during that song….. it said that there so when you’re thanking the producers on these like half of them were jungkook bc it’s his style and the layered harmonies and back vocals are what HE loves to do.

I think it was the fact that they think it’s a “chorus effect” on Jungkooks voice and totally miss the fact that there’s not an effect on his voice it’s him singing all the different notes to layer his vocals. The one guy seemed to want to compliment anybody but jungkook for jungkooks effort and skills. Even his adlibs instead of saying something constructive or real.. it was “we found the cheat code,” lol it’s my bias I don’t expect them to pick up on every single second of the video.. but they might as well have not watched with how little they took from it all.. just disrespectful.. or came off that way anyway.

when I first found bts, the other members stood out at first because JK isn't "showy". once I focused on him, too, I was blown away. Now he definitely stands out, but he was so shy earlier that when he was in interviews etc he was more quiet etc.
