Third 👍they look great Andy. Very thorrough review. I have the EV200d, they fit perfectly, and work great imo. I am very happy with them. I got them about 8 months after they came out, and I think I got lucky, with a newer producktion batch. I have had absolutely no issues with them. I like the way they can be powered by the usb port, so I use a powerbank sometimes, which works great too. And they can be connected to a computer, and used for virtual reality, or a simulator. The DVR works really well, but is a bit slow to start with, because of the long press, but I love the playback function, it has saved a few crashed whoops, that got lost, but I was able to find them playing back the dvr. The 300d, seem to have way more options, and a better menu UI.
the EV200Ds always had a killer screen. These are a level up for sure when you can compare them to the HDO2s There is no other compact goggle that can do that at the moment. Not Even the skyzones.
Thanks for showing this. Still waiting for mine. Just a quick question: So i need antennas which have "RP-SMA male" is that correct? Just want to be 100% sure to not buy a false antenna.

@@AndyRCchannel someone mentioned that the ev200d were similar with the osd and holding two buttons...maybe they reused something from the ev200d. Cheers Andy.
Great review Andy. Wish I knew someone who was getting them, I'd like to try a set on like you suggest. Goggles are so hard to recommend though I get it.
Mine arrived. I can confirm they have bad latency. I actually managed to measure it and it's 130ms - that's 100ms worse than my Aomway and my cheap Eachine Moni5 monitor. Pictures showing the results are in Kebabs Facebook page. Waiting to hear back from Bangood...
I still have the ev200d, when i upgrade i want 3 things better , the screen quality, no blurry edges , and way better dvr. It seems like the screens on the 300's are better and the ability to change the image size would get rid of those blurry edges also. If it just had decent dvr . (not even gonna mention the terrible menu) Seems like orca ticks all the boxes but i cant really justify the price tbh xD
@@veniaminvalasiuk7709 yep, thats what I was talking about. All the googles tested for the moment in youtube are pre-production versions. Seems production version has terrible latency.
Very good thorough review :) Hope they ship with SMA connectors. Did Eachine identity the provider who will craft custom diopter lenses(Rho-lens) if needed?
yes although id say never use a scanner it always gets the wrong freq. now we have smart audio and the vtx channel on the OSD its better to tune in manually
I use a separate screen to scan if I have no idea what the kwad is on . But that is a 1x thing . Then I use smart audio like @andyrc said . And keep my kwads on the same channel.
Helo Andy!) I was pretty surprised to know that your pre-sale version hasn’t any issue with the latency. However, could you measure how long this delay was in your EV300D, please? Just a simple video with the goggles and timer will be very helpful for us! If you interested, you can watch a precise measurement of latency in my last video. I measured a customer version of this goggles. Thanks for your helps! Best regards!

Banggood. Are they reliable in peoples (UK) experience? My 1st order, they cancelled, no explanation, no refund! PayPal claim dispute ongoing...but I WANT to trust them...how else to get into this new interest? The go-to company...I don't know to try them again or no
They are the company where most other shops get their stuff from and they add a margin. So I prefer to buy from the source. I have had a couple of problems with items but they always get resolved. I always make sure i use a different email address so I dont get special treatment. They are the 12th biggest company in china so they have a lot of customers so you dont usually hear from the happy ones.. sadly it sounds like you got unlucky. Just pay with paypal and you are always covered. Cheers
@@AndyRCchannel thanks :) I'll be trying Geekbuying for failed GPS drone purchase if and when that refund is settled...but Banggood for next Summers fpv try out...these goggles look good to go...and the change of email address might help to avoid negative reaction to the claim dispute business, I suppose, good advice...enjoying your channel. Thanks again
@@hgwells1899 Ah that sucks. Hope u get it sorted. Buying from china always has these risks but Banggood has always given me the best experience. The money to be saved outweighs the paypal disputes for me. Also winds me up when hobby shops slag them off when I know smaller retailers get the majority of their stuff from them and then charge a fortune on top. There are very few FPV products that are not at least produced in china / hong kong so you either buy from the source and have to deal with any fall out or buy locally, pay more and they deal with the fall out. In my experience the hobby shop always made me wait until they got theirs fixed from china so I didnt see the point. Im sure there are some reputable hobby shops out there but there isnt one near me.
@@AndyRCchannel Hit and miss for me from banggood, still shop there however for reasons you state. Your comment re smaller hobby shops UK, yes I had a run of faulty frsky gear from banggood where basically you take the hit and throw in bin as not worth returns effort. So I bought from hobbyrc (UK) instead thinking I would have some come back. When an r9 system from them failed after 2 weeks I got fobbed off to go to frsky direct to remedy, contrary to our UK statutory rights where my contract is with hobbyrc, not frsky, and regardless I have 30 day right to refuse. So yes it seems they're buying in from bg and just selling on at a premium, whilst not honouring UK consumer rights. Hobbyrc still fobbing me off to this day, basically I'd have to take them to court to get money back and they know no one's going to do that for £40 part. So yes, I'd agree buy straight from bangers, use PayPal and cross your fingers you're not going to get any better service/protection buying UK which is sad to say.
36 orders in with banggood now (UK) and very positive experiences. I would buy with PayPal if I was you, entering the credit card number direct blocked my card, the bank didn't like that they are based in Hong Kong!
My one arrive!!! High delay UNUSABLES!!! Back to China. now I really want to know if Andy have one with delay also and he cannot feel it.. that's mean he don't should to do this type of reviews... if he and the other "painless" and the Australian have not delay maybe it's software?

@@krdfpv7674 I've got a pair. It's not "impossible" to fly. It's just horrible for me. I bet some people who fly in big open spaces or don't "race" are less sensitive to delay than others. When I fly with them they make my feel nauseous. But I only fly in small spaces like my garden.

Maybe they will pull their finger out and do something because when you move the volume for the headphones up and down it disapears and you can update the menu which uses the same button. Its also a sales rep that told me so hopefully they will be watching peoples reactions closely. Cheers
@@AndyRCchannel someone mentioned that the ev200d were similar with the osd and holding two buttons...maybe they reused something from the ev200d. Cheers Andy.
Great review andy
Great review Andy. Wish I knew someone who was getting them, I'd like to try a set on like you suggest. Goggles are so hard to recommend though I get it.
I just got a pair but mine have awful latency. It's probably a third of a second. ...... seems mine is just like this?
Didn't have any problems with mine but they did say it's a prototype
Mine arrived. I can confirm they have bad latency. I actually managed to measure it and it's 130ms - that's 100ms worse than my Aomway and my cheap Eachine Moni5 monitor.
Pictures showing the results are in Kebabs Facebook page. Waiting to hear back from Bangood...
Here are the measurements. ua-cam.com/video/SnPKl0g7L_M/v-deo.html
I still have the ev200d, when i upgrade i want 3 things better , the screen quality, no blurry edges , and way better dvr.
It seems like the screens on the 300's are better and the ability to change the image size would get rid of those blurry edges also.
If it just had decent dvr . (not even gonna mention the terrible menu)
Seems like orca ticks all the boxes but i cant really justify the price tbh xD
People telling there is a delay of 300ms. Did you face that as well?
Not at all. How many people? 300ms would be unflyable and as u can see I'm having 0 issues here.
@@AndyRCchannel kabab fpv one of them.
@@АндрійКравчук-ч3ш measure - about 100ms, but unflyable... :(
@@veniaminvalasiuk7709 yep, thats what I was talking about. All the googles tested for the moment in youtube are pre-production versions. Seems production version has terrible latency.
Very good thorough review :) Hope they ship with SMA connectors. Did Eachine identity the provider who will craft custom diopter lenses(Rho-lens) if needed?
no you will have to find yourself but there are a few companies that already do it for fatsharks.
1st! in other news I ordered mine in white a few days ago and have a January 20th ship date. i'm stoked already.
thanks for being first ;)
@@circleofowls awesome. its always good to have a pair to try. Nice one guys
@@AndyRCchannel I'm definitely going to make him try them so then he'll HAVE to buy them!
The one thing I really hate in my ev200d is the slow scanning. Looks like its still the same.
yes although id say never use a scanner it always gets the wrong freq. now we have smart audio and the vtx channel on the OSD its better to tune in manually
I use a separate screen to scan if I have no idea what the kwad is on . But that is a 1x thing . Then I use smart audio like @andyrc said . And keep my kwads on the same channel.
apparently the rx's have normal sma connectors now
Nice review. Thanks
hallo!!! do you know what kind of modules come with ev300d? I'd like to put the Achilles firmware. like the pro58. thanks!!
Best regards!
unfortunately I gave them away but I have removed all links to the product and mentioned in the video that it was a pre prod unit and only if eachine made improvements I would recommend them
AndyRC OK, thanks!
Thanks for saying competitor and not "killer!?#*" Lol Markets should be a competition, not a crime scene ;)
Thorough review as always, really considering upgrading to these from my Att v4 + Furious True-D
I was going to add that to kill something it has to be a living organism so it's a stupid statement. But I'm sure IV said it in the early days. No more for me
What format does the SD card have to be?
Which antennas' connection type do we need for this googles?
Wait...the SD cards needs to be formatted "special" and the USB port is only for firmware update? How do I get hold of the DVR footage then? TIA.
take the card out of the goggles and put into an sd card reader on the computer
Ok. But what's that special format then? Any idea?
@@StefanNaewe probably fat32 which isn't really the standard anymore since it's got a ~3.4gb file size limit. it's not really special. just old and not in much use. pretty much everything supports it. special would be like exfat which unless windows10 added support for it you'd have to jump through hoops or use something unix based like linux or osx. a lot of sd cards will come with ntfs, sometimes raw (unformatted which some devices will easily fix and others will ask you to format it) and sometimes i get them as fat32 for some reason when i order 16gb ones.
Well thank u for the review I'm looking for a pair of goggles so I'm thinking on this for the price and what I like about them is the optics thank u.
I would like to hear your opinion about the Orqa vs HDO2 ongoing debate EDIT: this EV300D looks like the best "budget" goggle
They said they were sending them to me but they never turned up :(
Hows the Picture Compared to the Skyzone 03O?
better!
@@AndyRCchannel thanks :)
@@AndyRCchannelHow does an lcas look better than OLED? It looks incredibly dull and washed out. Not even mentioning the contrast and plastic optics.
Andy can I use a 3s to power the ev200D ? Cheers
I got them today I really want the hdo2 but my budget it's kind of low and I need the googles to be in this hobby that I decided to get this googles thank u again for this video .
Enjoy
i've been flying off a screen for quite a time
i might get these once some problems are fixed
I have the ev200d and I love them
i fucking hate em
yikes these look good, bit confused about 16-9, you said it only cropped the top? that would be terrible, wish you'd tested a 16-9 cam to see whats happens, i don't prefer 16-9 really i just like it for framing cinematic stuff, ps am uploading a vid of an old guy pinching my fround cam, then blaming his dog lolol
no it crops the top and bottom. Luckily iv only had one dog owner have a go at me and they weren't local, we all know each other otherwise as you can see towards the end of this vid :) sorry I didnt test a 16:9 cam. but it looks the same as any other 16:9 view with a few pixels to the right missing Cheers
DO you think the 300D is a good starter for 257€ ? I can get it with discount.
Yes I do
How about fan noise ? ev200d have big fan-noise
Why didn’t they say that they have a delay of 100-150ms?
Because about 10 seconds in I mention that mine is a prototype and doesn't have an issue with latency
@@AndyRCchannel make a video what a delay you have!

@andyRC you gonna talk about the latency or eachine it's gonna stop to send you free goggles?
mine didnt have any, otherwise how would I have flown like i did with them? they were pre production as i mentioned so i cant comment on others finding latency.
@@AndyRCchannel my goggles arrive some days ago... High delay UNUSABLES ... BACK TO CHINA soon
@@AndyRCchannel might be worth measuring them - maybe you are not as sensitive to the latency as others are. Painless360 has now measured it and his have the same issue.
@@kevinbernitz6580 Yes I saw the video this morning. Theres no way i could fly these with 100ms of latency, when the split cams first came out I struggled with the latency of those and I was flying these and the hdos together, I would have noticed that. This is the problem with eahine they are not consistent and is why i mentioned they were pre prod at the start.
@@AndyRCchannel i can actually fly in huge open area with these goggles. It's pretty unusable for Racing/flying inside. I can fly inside with box goggles though. Please do a video on latency for our sanity.
how do you format the SD card?
Can it play movie loaded on sd card ....can it support FPV for mavic mini ...or some mod will be needed
No you would have to watch movies through HDMI and no goggles work with the mavic mini
@@AndyRCchannel maybe with a possible dji rx module
So you can do some long range with them?
You can with most goggles with the right antenna and plan
@@AndyRCchannel Thanks! And also thank you for these top quality reviews in a clear speaking so non "englishers" can understand

what about a big delay? on these goggles
Am I flying like there is any delay?
@@AndyRCchannel No, you’re okay. it’s just that the whole Internet is full of that they have a delay of more than 150ms and that it’s impossible for riders to fly in them. therefore asked

Dont order HDO2 from bangood lol, unless you want to wait untill March.
well ZOOM1 seems like the way to turn off the on-screen display... that we can't turn off. haha but seriously if i can view my PS4 games comfortably and conveniently that would just add more value to these already aggressively priced goggles.
thats just because I froze the frame before it came back, the volume up and down however turns off the OSD. I mentioned this too them ///sigh
@@AndyRCchannel do you think you need to increase the font size in your feedback emails to Eachine? just puttin out there. 😁
No osd off is an automatic fail.
Turns out along press of the mode button until it gives a second beep turns the on-screen display off I don't know why they told me it wasn't possible
Can u review the betafpv hx115?
I didnt like the HX100 so i said no to the 115
@@AndyRCchannel thats ashame. Hx100 is totally different from hx115. And i hear from people who own hx115 it is hands down the best quad they have flown.
@@jandomingo9806 perhaps i get to fly more models than the people you are hearing from but from the hundreds of models I have flown, BetaFPV make good components but im yet to fly a model that has been well thought out against their competition. If I were them id stick to making great components because they do beat the competition in that department. And leave the model building to people who know how to do it. They could do with reducing their prices too.
@@AndyRCchannel i agree. Im sceptical about the qc mostly.
Are they better than the skyzone 03O
the picture is much better... they need to fix the issues addressed in the video before I could give a resounding yes.
Thanks
@@AndyRCchannel hi Andy, now I have old predator v2 with diversity and dvr upgrade. But the picture is not so good. Right now it is possible either to preorder ev300d for 250€ or buy 03o for 350€. What would you do in this situation?
@@effectivnyyeff8258 If i could wait. Id see if eachine fix the little problems. If I couldnt id probably go for a set of second hand hdo1s, They are around the 350 price. the skyzones have built in receivers and it looks like the mod for them is just going to be a velcroed module to the side so it depends what your feelings on that are.
@@AndyRCchannel thanks for your answer. Yes, now is Winter and I can wait without any problems. In case I will go to fly on weekends or so I still have my old predator. My concern is that I don't know if there will be later such prices on banggood like now. And regarding integrated modules on 03o this is not the problem for me, anyway I'm not gonna buy expensive rapidfire or something like that.
. I'm getting tired of whining about all the great vids such as yours that find it obligatory to have background music. Lemme hear the roar if the motors, or just go without, please please please.
There is no roar. The DVR records no audio
I hate it when "cheap" companies start making expensive products. That serves no one. If I had that kind of dough I'd buy something real, with a name you know and not some chinese knockoff crap.
They should've just made the 100D's a little better and get them to around 150 bucks.

Andy - Assuming you are still using this goggles. Have you experienced while flying noticeable latency? It appears KababFPV got a demo pair with this issue. ua-cam.com/video/R3mzBWUzQEs/v-deo.html Thanks!
I didn't have any issues but my set is a prototype. I'm also old so when people say they notice the better latency with crossfire and certain cameras. They all feel the same to me. Wait or watch other reviews to see if they have the same issue. Cheers
Dvr for it, 2022 doesn't work
With Matek working on bringing out a 1.3Ghz video receiver, being able to switch manually from one module bay to the other would be a really nice firmware update at some stage- if possible....
5.8Rapidfire for every day, then just switch to the 1.3Matek (or for that matter a 2.4 or 3.3 module) for those times when the need arises...
