Thankful for not putting all my eggs in one basket and MFF is only a back up to my main Alpha Capital Group funded accounts. Feel a lot 'safer' with a prop firm that owns their own broker and Alpha seem to be well ahead of the competition in term of regulation!

It seems like there is no way for a poor person to get ahead anymore. I was just getting my 2nd funded account with MFF. I'm already working 70 hours a week for a long time and I really only can come up with a spare $200 per month so I can't set money aside to fund myself without it taking many years. I'm going back to FTMO and when I do I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down US customers.

Being funded means you've probably recovered ur investment capital from your very first payout... but for the 90% challenge traders, I think you should cut ur losses and look for reputable firms outside the US, Canada and UK

its because of their ridiculous spreads and market conditions, and acting as a broker without a licence. and it will only apply to companies in the USA and Canada that are not using regulated brokers. Good thing futures props are already regulated by the cftc.
I think its a lot of this is associated with slippage. Increasing risk on open positions and slipping profits. Then break even trades are losses too. Do you know anything about the software they use to slip positions?
The simple reason is, these firms were successful and attracted a lot of funds which otherwise would have gone to the "traditional" brokerages and investment firms. In the end, the industry will have to move to other jurisdictions and this will happen, no matter what the US, Canada or the UK regulators do.

People talk about going to another 'reputable' prop firm. I think none exist having seen the reported fraudulent charges laid against MFF. It's all just a case of will they or will they not get caught for all other propr firms. Forget "reputable".

The same statistics of prop firms that payments receive less than 1% means that, as a result, 99% do not receive any funding, I think if prop firms required a track record of 6 or 12 months of trading a trader before being able to receive funding, then these 99% would not be allowed to trade prop company.
Perfect point. This is the reason why these prop firms a B booking most of the clients. Firms know that the majority of traders will lose, completely disrespecting risk management, so why providing those traders w real funds.

Omg , when I first started in this industry , I was that close to join MFF. I was aware that US regulations are very strict and I knew that is a matter of time till all American soil propfirms will come to an end. I've end up join Fidelcrest just because , they are registered in Europe.
So hope is there the regulations improves the propfirms become more strong

Yup, I had bad slippage with them in the past, after this happened I should of just stayed away for good but nope, stupid me bought another 50k challenge a couple weeks back. One of the first trades I took, my SL got slipped by 34 pips and this happened at 12pm when there wasn't any news, it was a random spike in price and this resulted in a 2.1% loss instead of a 1% loss. I spoke to their live chat, regular email support and even emailed the person in charge, I showed proof of what happened to all of them and all they did was try to explain to me what slippage is and that there's nothing they can do about it, joke
@@DJ33970 i'm telling you i have profitable strategy with high win rate but some how with MFF i lost so many accounts, until i became suspicious i left MFF i never look back, now i use other prop firms , people are innocent, hard working and they take advantage of it, i think bc all the accounts they blow up with slippage, now they're getting payback from the government, they're going to be shutdown at least 6 months and people will move on.

Look if there is no time limit then this is going to be hard for them to make money. This is going to be a broker than a prop firm. There is no challenge if the time limit is gone. Can you imagine by having $50 you can get $600 drawdown limit? Why they will give the opportunity? MFF didn't increase their prices as they said earlier. So that they can have more clients and then shut their door. It means they they were planning to stop their business. MFF knows that after announcing no time limit first 1 or 2 months is going to be huge sale and then no sale period. As people will slow down in passing challenges. They did what they planned for.
Lol don't overthink it bro, the time limit was the beginning of the regulations, Mff or other prop firms will not be affected by the infinity time limit, traders catch for opportunities, this was just for guys who spend 1/2mo to complete the tasks, they will continue making huge money cause market is dynamic and newbies will try to tame the market with their low practice and below average education on prices and technical analysis.

They could sell 5000 accounts per month. But after unlimited time they can't sell more than 1000 accounts per month. As one account holder taking months after months to pass this. So he is not buying or failing the challenges. On the other hand Profitable traders are making money more than their selling of 1000 challenge accounts. How would they pay the profitable traders?
Traders who fail challenges are emotional and majority of theme blow the account in the first week , so with or without that time limite there is still traders who fail the challenges because they are emotional and impulsive
