- Zip line excursion in Roatan Honduras. Flying 300 meters over the forest floor, zipping from platform to platform between 18 different lines traveling a half a mile in altitude drop over the entire course! Loved it!
I'm eyeballing this for our excursion in 2020. Looks great!

Howdy Wendy, we were able to do this excursion as a part of our cruise on the Liberty of the seas with Royal Carribean. This zip line excursion is located in Roatan Honduras and featured a zip line run that crossed the forest at a height of over 300 meter. That was the way the ship advertised the excursion to us but other than that I don’t remember the name of the company who ran the tour but I’m sure a look on Royals website or a search for zip lining in Roatan would give you some hits. Just remember to include the 300 meter line!

Hey there! My boyfriend really wants to do this excursion, but I'm very iffy about it due to my fear of ziplining in general. I've never ziplined before even though it's on my bucket list. Is it tame enough for a scared first timer or does it have a thrill of a roller coaster? Also, would you give this excursion an overall good review? I wouldn't know where to find other reviews for this excursion. I would appreciate any feedback!
Shari Cardozo I loved the excursion hands down but i am not a big fan of roller coasters. So, that might give you a hint right there. The two key factors are walking and heights. You will need to walk at least 1.5 miles uphill in hot humid weather. And the tallest line on the video is done at 300 meters or 900 feet. So you are WAY up there! But if you don't have a problem walking that much and your not afraid of heights then you will have no problem. The zip lining it self ins't that intense, your not going 100 mph instead your going more like 10-15 mph or at most 20 mph plus you can do it with your BF. So i suggest you do it. We loved it!
I see you were partnered up a few times, was that requested or required? I ask because my 6 year old want to go zip line this cruise. I was thinking about booking this one. My fear is she make get scared once we get there. I would like the opportunity to ride with her if she does.
Torri Russell the times you see us paired up were required. The other times were all solo runs but I see no reason why you couldn’t do it paired up every time. The only reason we had to be paired those couple times was because the runs were so long that doing it solo might you might not make it to end with the inertia of one person. But it didn’t require any special gear to go paired up it was simply an extra carabiner they attached to keep us together. So if you asked them to pair you up each time I see no reason why they wouldn’t let you at all. All you need to do is ask. But I would ask them ahead of time just to be 100% sure but they were very accommodating when we were there. I even had something fall out of my pocket during a run and they went down and hunted through the forest and found it for me, and I hadn’t even noticed it had fallen out of my pocket and that would have been a very expensive mistake on my part had they not found it for me. So again I see no reason what so ever for them not to let you ride together each time especially with a six year old!

Robert Mobley we loved this excursion. Although this was in Honduras. I would totally do it again in a heartbeat!
