Jocelyn thank you for your channel and your spirit. There are lots of times your videos and your sweet voice just make my day
You are inspiring, amazing, magical, so intelligent, and beautiful! Thank you for your videos. They brighten people's lives. ❤
I absolutely love you! I love watching your videos every night!
I have learned so much from you...
Thank you!🌼
I would of picked up the Greece vase love it.
I wanted to thank you...I started finding your videos at the end of March. Then on 4/1 my mom passed unexpectedly. Your videos have many a lot to me because she was my best friend and we would yardsale in the summer but thrifty shop every other week. So sharing you adventures is kind of like still going with her. Thank you.
You just motivated me to go antiquing this weekend. The thrifts have been so scarce and the prices are honestly comparable between thrift and antique stores these days.
Depending on your area, you can get some great deals at an antique store and support a small mom and pop shop/reseller and there's way less junky stuff to go through
Omg, I totally would have got that museum vase!! Gorgeous 😍
I agree. That vase was Stunning!!! I think maybe a missed opportunity.
I LOVE that you put matchy things together on the shelf- makes me feel so much more normal to see someone else doing that hahaha!
Thanks for the great vid's. yours is the best thrift-picker channel by far!
I do that too, and always think people will claim I'm OCD.
I remember people in the sixies having those lucite grapes on their coffee tables.
I love that we can always tell when we are in holiday or ordinary time by Jocelyn's nails, stylish girl...💖
yes...you should pick up Pioneer Woman. Some pieces in patterns are hard to find. People will want to complete their sets.
It amazes me how much you get done, girl! I love your “shop with me” videos and the “what solds”. Thanks for sharing all that hard work!💚💚💚
I loved your eye in those silver candle holders, which were beautiful! I love your videos! Have a great weekend!!
Oh how I wish I was closer for the meet and greet. Would love to meet you.
Yes, my fave girl in all the land!
Ready for some more fun. Thanks Crazy Lamp Lady
That vase made in Greece is stunning!!
The Lucite set is Beautiful.🍇. The Lucite Grapes are Real Nostalgia for Me. 🍇💜
I have a few of the Greek vases, my husband got them in Greece when he was in the military. They’re cool but I think they’re geared toward tourists.
Some pioneer woman items are worth a lot .... I just recently realized this and I have been passing them up... especially the rolling pins!!
I collect just see no evil figurines. I love them all playing hide and seek all in a row. Thank you for videos, i watch all them time, much appreciated!
That Greek vase was awesome, I would have loved that!
Love your videos I watch them all over and over but when you take and match items up you're taking the thrill of the hunt away from others.
I live in Harrisburg and my husband and I frequent the Lemoyne Antique Mall, the booth you said belonged to Kenny with the taxidermy squirrels on the beer bottles is my favorite booth! If we ever go and have a limited time, I always go to that booth first, very strange and humorous items that always peak my interest.
Love the pink lucite grapes/candle set!
Have a good weekend Jocelyn!
Love the owl with wings over eyes!
My heart DROPPED because I thought you were about to drop that copper Rakku(sorry if I spelled that wrong)
Love the leaf dish
It's crazy when can I watch Crazy Lamp Lady when how long let's check no not yet wait wait a minute oh boy here she is YEA!!!¡
I love your videos , so informative and beautiful pieces
Very lovey finds! Again thank you for sharing your knowledge and the wonderful shopping trip.
You found some beautiful things at the antique mall! Love watching your videos.
Oh my goodness I can’t believe your doing a meet and greet! That is very brave for you I’m so happy. I wish I could go but alas I’m on the other side of the United States from you. So instead I think I’ll go find an Antique Mall to meander through. You’ve really made me appreciate them more. I do love things that have a personal history. Sending you good vibes, I think you will have a good time at the meet and greet
You found some fun stuff! Always enjoy shopping with you!
I would have gotten the Greek repro vase. A couple similar handmade Greek repro vases sold on ebay recently for $50 and $75
I’ve seen videos of drunk squirrels before (they ate fruit that was outside and had fermented, naturally) and they were indeed, hilarious! 😂. ✌🏼❤️
The dink in the cross of the Jesus piece could probably be filled in with a bit of putty/spackling and then touched up with matching paint. I’m not saying you would want to do it, but especially with being chalk ware, I think the touch up would look pretty good. Ceramic and porcelain are much more difficult to touch up, but I occasionally do minor paint touch-ups on mostly ceramic pieces and they look pretty good. You need a delicate hand and a good eye for color mixing. I have used acrylic art paints and Testors enamels and now they have acrylic water-based …but Ive only used the enamel (enamel has a better permanence, I think.) They come in gloss and flat finishes. If I touch up a piece that I’m selling, I will disclose it to potential buyers.
Love the Jesus statue. Check out those polished nails!💜💅 The goddess vase loved the colors on it,blue biscuit jar, teapot trinket box😍 😮More Lucite Grapes with candlesticks!! Love them!
Hi Jocelyn. Loved the blue swirl vase, the red glass bowl and the bird wall vase.
My mother did ceramics and she was very good at it. She made one of those pixie cookie jars. I wish I still had it. Really cute:)
Ooh love the spoon rest!
I have a very similar Czech wall pocket, but mine is a parrot with grapes! He has his head cocked and is adorable!
The compotes were beautiful.
The jar is a reproduction but still by Anchor Hocking. Mayfair was never produced in cobalt originally.
Thank-you, Logan!
I have been collecting the Czechoslovakia birds and other pottery pieces for 40 years. NIce one.
I think it’s a goose and a pretty one. It’s a shame that the Greek vase was too expensive because it was beautiful.
At the antique market you found a lot of beautiful treasures.🥰
You could glue a cross over the damaged piece of Christ plaster bust 🤗🙏🏼🇬🇧
Or maybe in eternal flame crystal or glass heart bead or cloisonne that matches the piece well.
You purchased some awesome pieces!
Did you end up purchasing the lucite grapes & candles? They were beautiful!
You have the best skin! What makeup if any do you use?
The sled looks like ones that are used to haul logs for wood stoves or fireplaces, in Winter.
I like the cobalt blue jar,
Love your pretty nail polish!
OMG I LOVE the grapes. Plz tell me where I can buy them unless they are gone already
Pretty sure the cloisonné urn next to the raku was the “good” kind. 1920's. worth a couple hundred. My mom's piece like that started as a lamp.
What sort of trinkets came in a vintage trinket box?
toughened glass onto that beautiful trunk would of made a great coffee table for a man cave 👍🏻
Love these videos!
Nice see you again
Nice items 👌
I believe the blue swirl vase at 19:35 is fostoria made for Avon.
Wish I lived closer so I could go to you meet and greet! Hope it is fun for You!
I sure enjoy looking at pretty things with you! I always learn something, too. You've recently started listing some items as "buy it now" - could someone explain how that works and why you choose some items for that format? Thank you!
Love watching your videos.
Nice video as usual.
You're manicure looks so lovely btw. Shiny and clean 😉😊
Pioneer Woman is really nice and if people want to resell it, I think that’s great. I find the designs, however, don’t go along with most of the other vintage I’m selling. And since it’s not really “vintage?”I don’t want to start mixing too much “not vintage but nice”….a sort of category I have, in with my other stuff. Just. MHO.
When I was a kid, one of my aunts made lucite grape lamps. I had one of them that I loved! The ones she made were SO good! I wish i knew what happened to them. All my cousins and aunts had them. 🧐
I would love to see a picture of it
@@lisamillerbuchert9447 I wish I still had it along with those from my relatives. Nobody kept them! I’ve done google searches to find any similar. None hold a candle or come close. 😢
@@laraemitchell9064 That its sad. I'm sorry. It's hard because sometimes as we get a bit older we realize how much something should have been appreciated & its just wasn't. We've had it happen in my husband family too. It is a bummer. Would of loved to have seen a pic.
I would buy the whole set of those Elf pieces!
I used to collect the lucite grapes I couldn't give them away. I'm dying that they have value now. Uhg
We had a similar statue of Jesus growing up. The space behind it was used to hold candles and holy water. It was used to give last rites.
Does anyone else notice how Joss has such great skin!?!?💓 A woman my age, we don't have skin like that not more! Lol
My mom loved lucite grapes & had baskets full of them…which I had to dust/clean. Not fun! Lol
Why did you choose the blue biscuit jar instead of that gorgeous Indiana glass bowl, just curious.
Homeland Center is a retirement home in PA
Love love your videos
Love your videos😃
Wish I had antique stores close to me. Like 3-4 hours drive before I find a decent one.
Love the biscuit jar, will it be on ebay?
Go get that Church! Big time Vibes!
I noticed that you don't ever take videos of the top shelf. It seem that it's always the middle or the bottom shelf
You forgot one..see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil...have no fun!
🤣😂
Buy the sled
Hat pin holder
Can you explain what exactly is Raku pottery. Thanks.
Jesus, a Goose and Pioneer Woman…🧐
I didn't notice but did the Goodwill have any baskets for sale.......LOL
I bought a handful of pioneer woman dishes a few years back. They are almost all chipped or broken. They dont make things like they used to... sigh
I just looked up the Greece Replicas, they sell for $500 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have one up for auction right now. It’s sitting at $15 with ten hours to go. 🤷🏼♀️
The glass grapes your finding.. are they called looside grapes?
I can’t work out what your saying, but if that is what your saying, that’s a pretty strange thing to sit by your loo/toilet 🤣
🤣🤣 I miss hear a lot, but I really can’t make out what your saying 😆😆
Lucite is clear acrylic plastic resin developed by Dupont in 1937 and known for its strength and transparency). It has been used in everything from jewelry and decorative items to furniture and windows.
@@nanderson8286 ahhh thank you!
Lucite makes so much more sense 🤣🤣
That goodwill trip was very unusual. Definitely not your normal purchase’s. Are you just trying to get out of your comfort zone ?
I am trying not to limit myself to just vintage and antiques. Not sure if I’m going to commit to it yet. 😅
You should look for model horses and animals they are schleich and breyer
They are in the toys most the time
Have you ever broken anything and what happened?!!!!x
The pioneer women utensils cost $ 19.99 dollars in Walmart
No way you passed on that 😍🤩😱 4:20
Hi the sled is a dog sled
Jocelyn, didn't you tell us all that your mom gave you a plaque that said, "she believed she could do it, so she did"? Look at the tall copper-rimmed coffee cup at six forty-one. ( : This is a moot point now, because this is my second viewing of this vid, on 9-23-22. Still figured I'd ask you.
Hey!!!!
01:49 I'm pretty sure he's a West Virginia Glass Co. piece. The jay looks exactly like the one on my WVGCo tumbler set.
03:23 I'm feeling like that's modern and artificially aged. It looks too flimsy to be the real foot-lockerish thing.
03:48 Yeah, that's definitely a gooooooooose.
04:22 Someone's copying a vase from about 500 BCE, I think. The scene could be Leda and the Swan.
05:18 Decorative; don't waste yer time on them.
06:12 How are you managing not to get strikes? I can recognize Steely Dan. (Grant you, that's cut's deep catalog for the band.)
11:25 She's selling the Talavera at CRAZY low prices for my area.
13:45 I'm feeling Greek vernacular here; I woulda been tempted to grab the whole bunch of 'em.
Oh! was that an Eagle at 14:40?
I found myself looking at your left thumb the entire time thinking it looks sore bc they made you bleed at the nail place!! 🙃
Hi 👋
