What an amazing turnout! You and Jocelyn (and Kat and lots of other UA-cam resellers) are a huge part of why so many have new or renewed interest in vintage and antique! Your respect for theses pieces of the past and the way you ensure they are valued (not only monetarily but the emotional connections too) is to be admired. Always love your videos George!
my mouth dropped when i saw the man with the siver and turquoise , especially the squash blossom necklace ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ My favorite collectibles are silver & turquoise also copper / turquoise
I live in nearby Maryland and with a reseller friend, drove over to Lemoyne in hopes of meeting Jocelyn to say HI. I have watched CLL videos for a couple of years now and am a fan. I hadn't even really discovered your vids yet, George. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, the line was so long, we needed to eat and wanted to have time to look around before it got so late, so I gave up. My friend Grace, who is a spry 95 year old lady, and yes, a dealer with a long-time booth where I've been for only a few months (Emporium Antiques of Old Town Gaithersburg) just sat up front at the tables and chatted with whomever, since she can't walk that much. And wouldn't you know, Grace told me that Jocelyn and maybe Dagny (?) (so nice too,) came up to the table where she was and was talking with one of the other people sitting there. I was off still looking around and so missed her again. Drats! 😣Oh well, another time! And now I'm really enjoying the heck out of your vids too! Thanks, George! #CrazyLampLady
This was fun! I bet you all were exhausted after such a long day of meeting & greeting people! I love this community on UA-cam, everyone is kind & supportive of one another, but of course, wonderful creators attract wonderful people🙂 Thank you, as always, for sharing George. xo
I’m the one from Delaware. Thanks again for signing my book ( Treasure Craft) by George! I’m the lady that had the Puzzle Bottle. Thanks for your help with that.
Your videos and JE were fabulous! I was blown away by all the attendees. But, I shouldn't be. You guys "put yourselves out there". You shop , do shows, participate in your communities, and put out very entertaining and informative videos. You have a tremendous work ethic, are REAL, and are always nice and polite. JE has availed herself and her legal team just like a ferocious Mama bear when any of her friends are threatened by a thief of content. I'm glad Dagny participated as she represents another aspect of shopping and selling. She is a hoot and very endearing. As for Andrew, he represents a whole other dimension of knowledge. He represents both the Rev and Civil War with a tremendous amount of knowledge. As Americans, we don't know much about our history. And, George, you give all of us military brats a good name.
Thank you for featuring my male cameo pin at the meet and greet appraisal! I was so honored and thrilled that you found it interesting! Your knowledge and enthusiasm for antiques is wonderful to see. You, Jocelyn and Dagny were so gracious to us all. Looking forward to your next video! Take care and thanks again!
Just happy wonderful fantastic vibes. You are a wonderful guy,,,everyone so happy and excited to meet each other..that was great for Crazy Lamp Lady to put together,,,just a wonderful video. What the tribe should be like. Wow...I love that butterfly wing tray...one gal here who taught at university had a massive collection with another gal when legal and they made a flying design in a rainbow picture of them for the new theater...back in 2008 and went to a production with mom. Always everything in your vids and a huge lift...so neat she got a bunch of baby gifts...I have Patti's first line in my typing here and she just says it..,,,all the knowledge in the joy of it all and no pretense,,,thank YOU.
The Fenton handle signature is the signature of the person that applies the handle only! Each step in the production from blowing the glass to the mold to crimping to handle to hand painting is all done by a different person that specializes in that part of the process! Each piece of glass is handed off many multiple times. Luckily the handle makers were able to leave their mark as where others were not!
Oh George, I share your love of book ends!!! Sadly they don't sell well on my neck of upstate NY...but then neither do books another of my loved!!!! Lol. Always learn n enjoy your videos!!!carry on!
You are such a wealth of information. I didn’t realize you live in Washington. We live in neighboring states. My abode is in southern Oregon. So enjoy your channel. I learn something every time I watch you. Blessings to you and yours
What a great day of vintage and reselling friends. We're still hoping that one day you'll get to Texas and maybe do a meet and greet with those of us around Round Top or maybe Canton.
Thank you, George for this video. I’ve learned so much from videos, that you and Jocelyn submit. I’m so thankful. Drew never ceases to amaze me of his vast knowledge of Civil War pieces. My mom always shopped at the A&P, and passed down her thirst for 8’0Clock Coffee to me.
I’ve been waiting quite a while to see this footage. I would have been there if it was closer to me. Neat to see some of the things people brought in. I think that religious print was one that was hanging in my Sunday school chapel when I was a little kid. 🙏💚💚💚
Thank you for the awesome information on the royal bayreuth. I have had a vase for a year and had NO idea what it was....and now I do because of YOU!!! George strikes again😁😁
@8:55, checkout the guy in the Skagway, Alaska hoody!🙂😁✌ That's kinda rare. Lol! Way to represent! Anchorage in the house! And yes! I enjoy your videos!🙂✌💙#Ak907
I so loved meeting you, Jocelyn, Dagne and Drew. I am 4 1/2 hours away and it was worth the drive to meet you all. You were so sweet and nice. OOXX the long hair girl. PS.This came up in my hubby's account he's Terrence and I am Linda! and one more thing.. I bought one of the jewelry jars! it was fun to go thru.
Hi George! Wow, that appraisal fair was crazy loud! The male cameo was super-nice. I really liked that odd-shaped Nippon bowl, with the butterfly. There were a couple of what looked to be low pedestal tables, against the wall, in the booth with the sign with your name on it, that caught my attention. I liked the look of those. I think I would've had to have bought the 1930's wall sconces. Those were nice. I liked the doorknob escutcheon plates the aluminium alligator was setting on. That mall was really loaded with items, and there was a lot there that caught my eye. There were several of the spaces that could've easily taken an hour each to film. Thanks for the tour!!!
I need to go back, I honestly think I missed half the store and I think some of the more true antique stuff was on the side I barely touched! Having said that, I did really like those sconces and the cameo was great. I'm glad you got to come along to our noisy event!
Hi! The 1930 wall sconces you looked at in the mall match exactly two sconces on my fireplace that came w my 1909 house!! I also have a matching ceiling fixture w three of the the same glass light covers around a central matching ornate metal fixture. I absolutely love them and always wondered if they were as old as the house or from a bit later. How exciting! 😊💞
The rapt looks on everyone's faces when they listened to you talk about their treasures was so heartwarming George. You bring so much joy while educating us.
The Roundtop (TX) Antique Fair is just a few weeks away! I'm very excited for my first trip there. I feel better prepared from learning so much from you and your videos!! I can't wait to go search in the wild!
I’m a little late to this video but what a great turnout! I agree I see antique store much busier than a few years ago! I think it’s because of people like you and Joselyn and others who are pointing out their value. Sure you can run into hobby lobby for decor but when comparing quality there is nothing like old stuff!
George, again thank you! I don't understand why you don't have several hundred thousand subscribers. I wish I could twitch my nose and make it happen for you. I hope to see you when you are West again. It shouldn't be too long now before you feel the rain, toss your hair in the salty sea breezes of Seattle, and hear the whale calls. Safe travels.

GREAT VIDEO , NICE TO SEE A CROSS OVER OF UA-cam CELEBS LIKE A TV SERIES
George, you are so knowledgeable. The movie “courtship of Eddie’s father” was one of the first roles for Ron Howard. He played the kid.
Actually Brandon Cruz played Eddie. It was 1969. He was 7. In 1969 Ron Howard was 15 years old.
@@karen-ck1fr Brandon played in the TV version. I was referring to the movie version which was the poster George was showing.
thanks! You are both correct about the tv show and movie, and which actor played the role in which one
