I love using a paint pot as my shadow so quick and simple. My go-to is soft ochre but I'll have to get this shade because it really makes your blue eyes pop! So pretty!!! I love this on you!

That type of top actually makes your shoulders look better than the off-the-shoulder type. I recall you saying you wore off the shoulder due to narrow shoulders but I like this so much more.

Hi Melissa! As soon as I saw the paint pot I ran to my Mac eyeshadow palette and I knew I had a shade just like that. The eyeshadow in the shade club is just like the paint pot very happy you reminded me of this forgotten shadow. You’ve inspired me to make more use of it!

I also wanted to say that the Charlotte Tilbury cream shadows (I think they’re called eyes to mesmerize) can be beautiful as one and done shades. I have four of them and the oyster pearl one is beautiful worn alone. They have a much lighter more moussie type consistency-but very easy to apply and virtually impossible to screw up. lol. Oh also if you put other shadows on top of them -WOW -it really makes them sing !!! ♥️

I immediately got it after you first mentioned it a few videos ago and I absolutely love it. You're right. All you need is that one shadow and you get plenty of depth and pizzaz. For very oily lid girls: I put a shadow primer that I set with an eyeshadow (taupe) then put the paint pot on top all over, then set it with setting powder (it lightens it some) then back over with bougie to give it the sparkle and depth back. Yes that is extra steps but if you have super oily lids like I do (and little babies to chase around in the heat) this will make it last. Loved the video. Thank you

Oh thank you Christina. No kidding if you ever want a good eyeshadow base try the paint pot in color painterly. It is one of the best eyeshadow bases I ever tried, on me anyway. Thanks girl.

Hi Melissa that is a great shade on you. I love using a cream shadow as a quick eye look and have a few different colours and formulations I use - depending on my outfit lol. I tend to use taupes, champagnes, muted light pink, light grey, lilac etc, as I'm very pale/cool toned. I usually pair it with a contrasting liner for a pop of colour, but it's a very quick Summer look indeed. I hope you have a great time with your grandchildren and don't worry about replying.
