Good luck youngin.... stay focused and if you have good credit you can make it happen with ten percent. If your parents cosign you'll be sure to make it. But if you have decent credit or none you can take 3000 and absolutely get what you want most of the time. I'm not sure of you're exact situation. But you sound motivated and in the right mind to come out on top. I remember being young and saving every dollar for my first car. A 1989 used Honda accord. If you get the charger not only will you be out doing me and a Lotta others if this is you're first car. Either way tho good luck n make sure you put enough to the side for plates registration and taxes. But if you are dealing with a dealer and not a personal situation they will put it all on the back end. Make sure your apr matches you're credit score and always always always make your car payment on time. If you don't want to take a hit on your credit. Constantly pay on time for a year or 2. And maybe a sxt is what you get this time. Next time it will be a scat pack or Hell Cat if you want 1. Good luck youngin. See you out there on the road soon.

It really is a good car. I've had my V6 Challenger for 2 years. I daily drive it. I put a hitch on it and I have a 5x8 landscaping trailer that I use to pull my zero turn. IMO, the Challenger looks better than the Camaro and Mustang.

    • @HiroForever

koolaid117 I totally agree it looks far better than Camaro and Mustang. I’ve noticed some years it seems. Like mustangs are having an identity crisis trying to look like a Charger, Challenger or Camaro .... yet they never appealed to me. I loved my Charger, but was a 2013 a lot of miles and started having problems so traded for Challenger. LOVE IT.

Nice video. Finally a v6 review where the guy is not constantly comparing it to a v8. Showing the car for what it is. A v8 is not for everyone, get that through your heads. You want a v8 or like v8’s why are you watching this video?

V6 challengers are very nice cars......they look exactly the same as the hellcats (the only difference is the hood scoop and the decals on the side) and they can still move....let’s be honest unless you’re taking the car to the drag strip it’s more than fast enough.....in the video it says it goes 0-60 in 6.4 but I’ve had multiple sub 6s in my v6 challenger.

I have the SXT+, great car, plenty of power, does not growl like the V-8 which is fine, it goes fast enough for me with plenty of extra power and room. Only issue has been the remote start won't work when temps are below freezing but my local dealership assures me that they are working on the fix which is battery related due to the voltage dipping on cold mornings, otherwise I am a happy customer overall.

In 2024 it has 94,000 miles and the only problems I had was a bad door lock actuator and a battery. It has been a great car.

I have an RT with the 5.7. Im assuming the suspension is the same. I was amazed how well these cars handle. No suspension or body roll in the corners, my car stays flat around the corners. You feel bumps in the road, its a sports car so if your looking for a touring ride you might prefer a Chrysler 300. I had a 1973 dodge charger with the 340 magnum engine. It had performance numbers like the pentastar v6 with a car almost 2000 pounds heavier. Thats right, the modern v6 will run circles around many mopars from the day. I had a 1974 road runner with a 360 cid engine my RT would eat for lunch. Your getting a lot of bang for your buck. Any hater you encounter... what do they drive? Burgerking burger flipper envy can motivate a lot of jealous hatred.

It’s still a V6 dude... there’s no substitute for horsepower. Might as well buy a neon.

I drove a v6 one in 2013. Felt kind of big and nothing other than the exterior stood out. The engine as I remembered was so, so.

Depends on what you're used to. I drove a few big late 70's and early 80's 2dr coupes in my teens and early 20's, so it didn't feel overwhelming big to me. If you're used to driving Miata's or Civics, it's gonna feel huge.
