This is just so wonderful and so beautiful. And it has ALWAYS been this way with them. They always look deeply into one another’s eyes. When I went back to watch E’s romance with L, I thought they did an ok job as far as romances go but it was like seeing a beautiful empty shell because it did not have the depth of emotion these two have. I think one of the problems was that E and L seemed to be immediately (after “choosing” L at the end of S 8) thrown into this perpetual serious committed fantasy-like courtship which the natural conclusion would be marriage in S9but we never saw the actual falling deeply in love. Oh yeah, they said the perfunctory love story “I love you” but we did not see the actual “falling”. It is like we were told they were in love, but we did not see it happening. With these two, we got to see it happening since S 6.
Another excellent song perfectly showing how expressive Nathan's and Elizabeth's eyes were communicating their love, respect, humour and connection. It's easy to forget how far back their connection existed until you produce these videos! Great work.

He didn't need all the fluff the grand gestures the candles & wine to win Elizabeth's love. Nathan won Elizabeth's love by being Nathan. Nathan was a friend, a protector, a listener, caring & gave parenting advice or other advice when Elizabeth asked. Nathan was there for Elizabeth in every way that matters. 3:21 Nathan's personality was a big reason Elizabeth fell in love with Nathan too. Nathan has the best wit! So, those who don't understand E& L break up and the writers getting E & N together don't understand true love isn't fluff dates with a man you have no real meaningful conversations with. 😂 Even once engaged Elizabeth avoided meaningful conversations with Lucas. So, of course it meant she would break up with Lucas. Elizabeth's meaningful conversations were always with Nathan! Of course Elizabeth was in love with Nathan! ❤ I do hope for good things for Lucas in CC that he gets a redemption story first & then becomes a good governor. Eventually the writers will get him a new girlfriend in CC, I think. As long as Nathan & Elizabeth remain the main story, I'm okay with it.
