Hi everyone, I'm going through the comments now and first of all the "Renegade" army does not play around! Please watch with closed caption on to have a better watching experience! Thanks so much for checking out this reaction and I'm very sorry for the bad audio levels. I didn't realize it and was up til 4am last night editing this video. It sounded ok in my headphones but I am sure I'll probably lose my hearing early because I love blasting music in my ears haha. I can upload another version with better audio quality but it might take a little bit. Let me know if you'd like me to do that. Thanks again for the kind words and for being here. (I've never posted a video and received this many views in this short amount of time, or this much engagement, so thank you so much. What a dope community of people Ren has built.) 00:00 Intro 00:49 Why is this the most replayed? 1:38 I love minor keys & guitars (I know this is not an electric guitar btw lol) 2:58 He can sing too 4:02 I'm getting Eminem Vibes 5:40 Who are these voices? 6:07 Mental health 7:23 I’m gonna cry 10:06 I really like this! 11:22 Do I have it wrong? 12:40 He’s spitting 🔥 14:57 😭 That was really powerful 17:11 Goosebumps 20:04 That’s a deep statement 21:44 I’m inspired 22:17 Ren if you see this
We're all here for Ren and for you now. The term "A high tide lifts all ships" from Ren and now Renegades 🫶😁🙏 works so well. Reactors have played a big part from this song alone. The community on UA-cam has been awesome. Independent artists are so much cooler than main stream. Ren got signed to Sony but got ill with Lymes disease so they broke contract. Nearly 10 years misdiagnosed and nearly died twice he's on the mend after treatment.
You're one of the few to mention what's on the back of the chair. "LD".... "Lyme Disease", which was misdiagnosed AND treated with drugs which made his illness worse AND caused massive side effects
No need to retro the video. I raised the volume when you talked, lowered it when the video played. A lot of UA-camrs (even experienced ones) can't seem to keep the same volume of the song and them talking. So, I'm used to just adjusting the volume.
Don't feel bad. I still cry every time after probably 100 views. Rap fan you should watch The Hunger next. It is a showcase of his rap, bars, and beat making.
@@thisisshari It's the guy in a medieval inn, reciting poetry, telling stories, singing and playing the lute, for the drinking patrons. Its the original multipurpose entertainer, in Western culture.
Great reaction also his Back on 74 / Message in a bottle retake is great for pure singing (if you keep going with Ren you’ll have a lot of “what other rappers can do that” moments
WELCOME TO THE RENEGADES!! You’ve just stumbled on an amazing community and soon you’ll realise just how special it is! Thank you for your honesty in this reaction, that was incredibly brave of you! Very honest review! There’s an order so to speak, of videos to watch to start with. Next is the Tale of Jenny and Screech trilogy! Enjoy what is to come! ❤
@@thisisshari careful with that one. Jenny and Screech is fantastic, but is also emotionally difficult at best. I myself no longer watch reactions to it because it’s too draining for me, but it is definitely a good one and you will get plenty of views if you do it.
I loved your heartfelt reaction to your first Ren song. His catalog is immense and very multi-faceted. I had to become your most recent subscriber but I guarantee I won't your last. May I recommend his song "Chalk Outlines" live version with collaboration from Chinchilla. Your musical background coupled with your understanding of mental challenges that we all face in life will really inspire people and give them new perspectives to Ren and other artists. Don't be afraid to share your emotional side as that is one of the things that drew most of us " Renegades" to his music, not to mention his unparalleled talent. I look forward to watching more from you as well as some of your own work.
Thank you so much for this comment and for subscribing! I'm glad to know that my perspective resonated with you and that you weren't turned off by how emotional I was in this video haha. 🙏🏽❤🙏🏽
When Ren says "the music that I left behind", he said that he didn't think he'd live to be 30 years old. He really suffered a lot from being misdiagnosed for Lyme disease and writing music between bouts of being bed ridden and in pain every day as his autoimmune condition kept getting worse.
@@thisissharioh man, his music & his story is gonna knock you flat. Took him 6 or 7 years before they discovered it was Lyme, and it's done permanent damage. He's continued to have to deal with the Bartonella co-infection which still causes serious problems for him, and also MCAS which was caused (or at least, worsened) by various treatments he's undergone. I hope your mom is doing ok with it these days ❤
I'm glad it touched you, and that you re-watched it - I think it takes some contemplation to appreciate all that goes on, with the music, his acting, the lyrics, the visuals, etc. If you'd like to do another Ren, I'd highly recommend the Back on 74 retake. It's mostly singing, and the only tears you'll cry may be of joy - it's beautiful. Others will recommend his heavier works, but I think you'll love that. Good luck.
Thank you! Yes I'll definitely check out Back on 74 because tears of joy would be great to experience. Thank you for watching and for the recommendation!
Love your reaction. Keep on discovering Ren, and I really hope you are getting the help you need for your bipolar disorder. Frickin enormous and brave of you to open up about that. Take care, love.
To clarify: Ren loves and supports reactors. UA-cam's system might put an automated copyright claim on a video, but if you "Dispute" (not appeal) the claim, Ren's team will release it ASAP. They'll whitelist your channel to prevent future claims, and share revenue (if you choose to monetize). Cheers!😂
Ren probably will see this and I have to think he will like it a lot. I like the 2 watching, it really needs multiple viewing and yes, the chills will happen over and over, it is so powerful. Love how when he started to sing it's like he had no choice but to sing. Also, you can't call him a rapper, he is also an excellent singer in multiple genres, his videos with his band The Big Push are outstanding, check out Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard for some great vocals and it's done live on the street, amazing. Sure hope you are getting hooked because I enjoyed the reaction, can't wait for The Tales of Jenny and Screech, make sure it's the full version.
I'm glad you liked it and thanks for the recommendations. I'm also glad you appreciated the 2 takes. I definitely missed some stuff in the initial emotion reaction haha. Thanks for watching!
Also, it would be really awesome if he sees this. Even if it were to just see all of the love in the comments from the community he has built through sharing his soul in his music. That's amazing.
@@thisisshari He is well known for not only seeing reaction videos but he has left comments before and has done multiple interviews with reactors. He truly loves the reaction community and credits them with getting him where he is now. Unfortunately, that means he is busier than ever, so we don't see him as often in comment sections. But you will enjoy his renegades, and they will have plenty of love for you, we all go through stuff and it's easier when we go through it together.
This is autobiographical, Ren is special, I think you would love Ren's creations. He is a producer, he plays multiple instruments, he directs, he sings, he raps...I hope you will check out more in the Ren-iverse.❤
Listening to Hi Ren makes so many of us feel seen, and heard and understood sometimes for the first time and in ways that only people who have been through these same struggles connects us- not just to Ren but also to each other, which is why Renegades are a community like no other. ❤
I loved your reaction I could see that the emotional rollercoaster took you for a ride like it did for most of us I also appreciate you telling us about what you fight against everyday even if you didnt have to tell us. You are a strong and amazing person dont ever forget that and welcome to the world of Ren I think you will like a lot of his music he is very diverse when it comes to music peace and love.
Thank you for being brave enough to share your struggles with bipolar disease with everyone for the first time! And welcome to the rising tide to lift all ships!
Welcome to the wonderful world of REN, our lyrical genius and beautiful soul. Great reaction and subbed for more Ren. He has given me Hope and much happiness in the last 21 months. He makes me with my chronic pain and other diseases be seen and heard ❤
Great to see you take on Ren, and honesty and truth is what people look for in reactors, as it is in musicians hence your and everyone else's reaction to "Hi Ren". Also Ren has been reacted to by many people who have then found the courage to talk about their inner battles; that everyone has. So much so that professional medical people recommend "Hi Ren" to their patients and talk about the honesty and conversations it has encouraged. And so many have found it therapeutic. Just look through the other reactors you will see this. :)
Yes he does bring so many people hope! I just found out that I have Lyme disease about a week ago officially. I've known for years. I found this man 4 months ago and I cannot tell you how many times I've listened to this song and all of his songs. Just seeing him be able to live again gives me hope that I will be able to live again one day also! I was at one of the lowest times in my life when I found this song. It couldn't have come in a better time and when he said some people know me as the voice that you hear when you listen to news on the Rope I just felt my entire body loosen. It felt like the anxiety I had been holding in just let go and I haven't felt like that in years I am glad that you chose to keep in the part of being bipolar. It's not something you need to hide! You are beautiful and perfect the way you are, all of it! Loved your reaction and would love for you to react more of his music
I really enjoyed your reaction to this masterpiece! I've watched it so many times through reactions and on his channel that I've lost count, but I still get chills, I still tear up, I still feel like I can relate and I still cheer when he stands up and sings his heart out! Ren is changing lives, he's making a difference and you won't be disappointed if you dig in. The Renegades will will happily take the journey with you. Honestly I think you would love Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla (live version) Losing it, the Hunger, Illest of our time, back on 74 and really just anything he's put out. I've been falling down the rabbit whole for months now and I still love all his music just as much as the first time. I love and appreciate your mention of your own struggles, and showing a little vulnerability. I think it shows you are stronger than maybe you realized. You are brilliant and insightful. Keep it up!
I'm bipolar too. But, in truth, I think everyone has this inner struggle. Ren is so talented. The way he plays guitar (half the time he's not even looking at it while playing it; that's a lot harder than it appears, he can rap, he can sing, and other things (you should react to some of his other stuff)....he's a little powerhouse. Truly interesting individual.
Thanks for sharing that and yeah I think you're right. I think the struggle can be magnified sometimes with bipolar. I didn't even think about that -I tried learning guitar a long time ago and it was very difficult I was definitely looking down the whole time. I'm looking forward to seeing more, thanks for watching!
Welcome to the rabbit hole. From one musician to another, if you stop short and don't dive all the way to the bottom of Ren and crew, you are only cheating yourself. I have never been more inspired by another musician. What you just experienced is what most of us experienced the first time we listened to this music performance. This piece is a magnum opus on the human condition, (especially for creatives or those with mental health issues). You have crossed over a threshold in the universe of artistic expression. There is a reason the a so many Renegades and why we are so active. Buckle up! You're mind will get blown a lot, you will get goosebumps A lot, and you will be surprised A LOT! Ren is on a whole other level. But It's a level we all knew was there we just did'nt understand how to get there.
Out of God knows how meant reactions I've seen, yours is one of my favorites. Hi Ren tends to bring out the real person, just by being himself. To me the longer shadow is that feeling of it always being there in the subconscious especially if it's a chronic thing.
I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ jAN 01, 2023~~~rEN~ Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own. The voice was distinctly different to mine, and always negative. It would self criticize or urge me to do things I knew to be morally wrong. The most peculiar thing about the voice was that it took no effort on my behalf to produce. My own thoughts always felt like there was a process that required effort to bring them to the forefront of my mind, this voice appeared as though it was spoken by another. The sentences felt predetermined like they had already been constructed. I remember very vividly at 9 years old, becoming very frustrated with the voice. I stood in my back yard, internally screaming at the voice to be silent again and again, and it did. In a flash there was silence, to the point where my head felt like an empty room. I wasn't used to the quiet and that voice never returned. It almost felt lonely in my head. When I got older I had intermittent bouts with auditory hallucinations where I would hear perfect symphonies, usually at night when drifting off to sleep. They were so clear that they sounded like they were emanating from a radio in the corner of my room. I knew they weren't there, but for some reason they never came with the feeling of fear. I also recall sitting on a bus at the age of 15, and hearing the sound of a crowded room, with about 100 voices chattering away, I was the only person apart from the driver on the bus. These experiences were always very brief, and few and far between. My last hallucination was during an intense bout of psychosis in 2015, and was my first visual hallucination. I was walking down a pavement after jumping out my mums car in a crossroads in a moment of frustration and distress with my condition. I was trying to run from myself. What appeared to be a homeless man with a dark complexion approached me, and asked me what was wrong. I explained that I had been sick most my life, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to continue. He looked at me, and smiled and told me 'everything is going to be okay in the end Ren.' I had not told him my name. There was something so overpoweringly sincere about this very simple message, which brought with it an overwhelming feeling of inner peace, and in a flash, he vanished. My rational brain always linked these experiences to what the doctors have told me, that there are parts of my brain compromised by the autoimmunity in my body. That the myelin sheaths surrounding the complex electrical system that conduct my thoughts were damaged and compromised, causing these lucid experiences that I knew did not exist inside the physical world. The part of me that edges away from logical and rational thought always attributed these thoughts to some kind of otherworldly intervention, that made my thoughts the battleground of some spiritual tug of war. For a long time I never really acknowledged this part of myself, for with it brought the danger and stigma of sounding like a crazy person. I decided with my latest release, to the best of my ability, to capture and express this chess match of thought. Hi Ren comes out in just over 24 hours. I can't wait for you all to hear it.
Thank you for sharing this insight. It's inspiring to know he struggled with this and was still able to have the creative output in this video and that I'm learning in the comments he has.
Welcome to the Reniverse. It's a wild ride. You'll be overwhelmed with the options then be overwhelmed by the music. The only advice is wait on Kujo Beat Down it's kind of a side quest going on right now. Of course Ren explains it all.
Fantastic reaction. No need to second guess your interpretation - one of the reasons we watch reactions is to see varied interpretations and reactions. We all have our own, but it’s good to see others’ too.
Great reaction. Great work on the levels on the second Ren video. Looking forward to watching your introduction to Ren. Please turn down volumes save your hearing. As someone who also loves to listen to music loudly (and now mostly deaf in left ear due to it) I've been told you can't get it back.
Rens voice/cadence is the drum kit and many instruments. That's why when it's a stripped-down acoustic version his sound design choices and delivery come from years of busking experience and performing live.
Nice reaction…Rens music has a habit of touching emotions and once you get familiar to Rens story all the pieces fit. A talented, inspirational and humble artist. Each of his songs completely different from the next. Chalk Outlines is well worth listening to as many others.
Love the reaction! So very touching to see this music touch you like so many of REN’s fans. (Aka renegades) I especially liked how you left in all your “emotional” reaction and then did a second look reaction layered in! You might be on to something and it seemed almost themed in line with the song itself! Lol I sure hope to see more reacts to Ren.
I believe there are just two voices: the evil side, and Ren. When the evil side speaks he refers to Ren. And when the calmer side speaks he refers to himself. Thanks for your insight, and vulnerability. Well done.
The best comment I've heard about hi ren is, first you think it's ren's battle, then you think it's your battle, then you think it's everyone's battle, then you realise there is no battle. 🏴🙂
This video seems to get people to open up about themselves. The line about the light and the shadow it casts can absolutely be seen represented in the power-responsibility quote. It's about how things balance out. I think you'll enjoy this journey. All the best!
Ren's rabbit hole is soooo good. Any song is 🔥 you will be blown away at his busking in Brighton, UK. Duets with awesome singers. Great reaction and just subbed fron the UK 🇬🇧
Great reaction. I’ll be honest I’ve never heard anyone quote spiderman in their thoughts on his monologue, but I think I get what you were trying to say.
Hi Ren is an intro unofficially to Ren which many reactors can get a sneak peek at his immense talents. This may seem like a lot but his talents and passion goes beyond the words, the tone, the instruments, the music, but he tells stories. Stories that many of us can relate to when we have been ignored by society, institutions, and anyone that tells us to "move on." We get to process with his music.
To understand the struggles he has went through I suggest troubles! It tells his journey through the years his being misdiagnosed. Until he was finally able to get the correct on diagnosis and some help! To see how great of a human being is is 1 million subscribers video!
Ren is a singer/song writer first and foremost (his own description) who just happens to also be an amazing rapper. He plays classical guitar and electric guitar and bass guitar and piano and drums, edits, produces, mixes and writes his own lyrics,! He is also a master storyteller, a Shakespearian Bard of our time!

Can’t sign you” Ren: “OK, I’ll do it all myself”

The Ren Rabbit Hole is Deep and Powerful! Get Ready for the Ride of your Life!
How nice of you to tear down first then build her up by putting yourself on a pedestal. Are you suggesting that renegades are all robots like you thought she was? Clearly not every renegade is exactly alike, are they?
I hope you explore Rens music more. He is multi-faceted. I believe a generational talent. Just an incredible artist as well as an incedible human being.
I was listening with the mrs trying to sleep in another room had it as loud as i could without pissing her off and i could hear the song perfectly.. you? Not a damn clue just sounded like pauses til you ohhoood a bit
Yeah, I had to keep turning my volume up and down to hear her. She definitely needs to do something with her setup to balance out her sound with the sound of the video that she's reacting to.
I'm so sorry about that! I was editing until 4am (this took way longer than I thought) and it sounded ok in those gold headphones I was listening to but I have a tendency to have the volume up super high so that's probably why. I can re-post a video with better audio quality if you'd like me to. I'm seeing now there are a lot of comments like this. Thanks for watching!
@@thisisshari sorry for the late reply hey don't stress we've all seen the song 1500 times we're fans of it we want to hear your thoughts don't out power it but be as loud editing til 4 am? You're crazy work hard and grind but nobody grinds well without sleep
Nice reaction - this is a good place to start and I won't even tell you where to go next because I know you've had a million suggestions because that's how the Renegade family is. But welcome to the family! If you love music, there's no way that you won't be appreciative of all his different skills. Some people say Jack of all trades but master of none, he's a jack of all trades and master of all. I feel cheated that I didn't find him sooner, and I've been following him for at least a year. His life journey and musical skills are incredibly admirable - if he's got a guitar in his hands it probably moves me to tears, if he's got graffiti in the background I know it's time to party. I feel like YT should be grateful to Ren for all of the increased traffic! Renegade family has been blowing up reactor channels. I look forward to checking out your other reactions, much love and hope for success to you ❤
Hey and thank you leaving the bipolar part in the video, I'm glad you did. We all have our issues, and we keep our armor up most of the time so that we don't get hurt. I lost a child to suicide. It hurts everyday. But music like this and reactions like yours make me feel less alone.
@@EandMLeid Wow I am so sorry and I am sending you so much love. Thank you so much for watching this video and for your words of encouragement. Master of all is amazing and makes me even more intrigued. I look forward to continuing the journey and pray for strength and comfort for you as you go through yours. ❤🙏🏽❤
Great reaction! One thing I will say though, the Ren video is WAY louder than you talking so I found myself turning it up and down a lot to be able to hear you and then to keep it from being too loud when Ren was playing.
Yeah, I noticed that too. Something to do with volume balance or maybe something is restricting or interfering thru something. Or maybe it was intentional. I don't know but it is noticeable but I found I got over it in a couple minutes. Ren was perfect. Her voice could be louder but maybe it sounded normal on her system.
I'm really sorry about that! I think I had my headphones turned up way to loud when I was editing. Will try to fix that for future videos. Thank you for watching!
@@RockPowerUSA I'm glad you were able to still get through the video. Yes I'll turn myself up next time. Some parts of ths were recorded at 11pm when my son was asleep haha I was trying to be quiet but I thought I was audible.
Thank you for reacting to my favourite artist ever please please more Ren would love you to react to Rens back on 74/message in a bottle think you will love his voice sending big love from the UK subscribed ❤❤❤
Also this is a live, one take performance with multiple camera angles. Notice the mic on his collar and his guitar is hooked up to a pack he is wearing and also mic
This information gives you some background on Ren and puts much of his music and performance art in perspective. I gathered the information from old newspaper interviews, articles, and Ren's public livestreams and posts. All the information here was gathered exclusively from sources Ren personally approved for public release. Ren is a Welsh independent artist/singer/songwriter/busker/producer, living in Brighton, UK. He plays multiple instruments (acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, piano, melodica, drums, cello), has impressive vocals, beatboxes, produces all his own beats, is an excellent storyteller, and is quite the philosopher and poet. He is considered by many a modern-day bard; he once jokingly called his music "bardcore" and it stuck. Ren's music videos are frequently recorded live using a lavalier mic, often in a single take, although not necessarily the first take, and from various camera angles. In the case of the music video performance of "Hi Ren," it took four takes, all live in the room, to get the footage he wanted. "Sick Boi," is almost another chapter to "Hi Ren" and appears to have been filmed in the same room. Ren also has a live version of “Hi Ren” that was recorded in front of an audience. Ren has been creating great music for more than ten years. Many of Ren's songs resonate with people because he addresses struggles that many others face every day. Deservedly so, in October 2023, Ren album “Sick Boi” hit #1 on the UK Billboard album charts. Every RENegade should listen to this beautiful and moving poem/spoken word tribute to Ren's accomplishment of hitting #1 on the UK album charts. It is from a young artist by the name of Sonny Saxton, and he skillfully weaves many of Ren's song titles and lyrics into his poem. I hope Ren will notice and watch it. Here is the link; well worth everyone’s time. ua-cam.com/video/Kkp3B-x6-Io/v-deo.html&lc=UgwmBUMbXrER6Mx4WwJ4AaABAg.9w8dqTD6k0V9wAM4gBoRW3 Ren pursued a career in music from an early age. In 2009, while studying music performance at Bath Spa University, he began to experience health issues and was struggling to attend his lectures, which eventually caused him to discontinue his studies and return home. In addition, Ren was signed by Sony Records in 2010 and was working on an album when his health deteriorated to the point that he was unable to go on; consequently, his contract with Sony was dissolved. Ren would later relocate to Brighton. Ren's illness often kept him in bed for up to 23 hours daily. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led him to experience psychosis and develop PTSD. It would take seven years before a doctor in Belgium finally correctly diagnosed Ren with autoimmunity, Lyme disease, and resulting damage to the brain, organs, joints, and PTSD. Ren eventually underwent stem cell therapy in the United States, which improved his health, but it has not been a cure. Ren has spend the last 1 ½ years in Calgary, Canada, undergoing treatment for Lyme Disease and other medical conditions brought on by the disease, such as Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD), which has affected the myelin sheath in his brain, his thyroid, and adrenals as well as his bones/joints. Ren hit #1 on the UK Billboard Album Charts last October. Check out and subscribe to his channel; if you are a content creator, ask your audience to subscribe to Ren's channel. Let’s help make Ren a household name.
Great job at taking all the fun out of learning about an artist through a person's own journey. Answering a question is helpful. To rob a person of their connection and experiences is just crap. It's like sucking all of the oxygen out of the room and you are the only one who can breath. This doesn't say you're the biggest Ren fan. It doesn't imply probably the biggest stalker.
hey you should do Ren 8 Chapters if u want to know everything he went through with his health and also if u keep doing Ren u will learn about his friend Joe Hughes how they meet and also how he meet his friend Sam Tompkins you should also do Ren and Sam Tompkins busking doing Earned it /man world/falling also u should do Sam Tompkins Lose it all live hero live at hammersmith apollo dead to me see me Hi my name is insecure
Don't be scared of you emotions or weaknesses. You are beautiful (not just physically) Renegades love authenticity. The tale of Jenny and Screech, the 3 in one version will destroy you but it's ok. It's healing. We all have our stuff and Ren strikes a chord. Vocally, Chalk outlines, Back on 74, I shot the sheriff by the big push, how to be me (live). But you will continue to be surprised 💯
Thank you so much. Yes he definitely struck a chord. aaah I don't know if I'm ready to be destroyed! Thank you for the suggestions I'm taking notes. Thanks for watching!
"What other rappers do you know who play guitar" The first one I think of who isn't Ren would be Guante, look for his "A Loud Heart" album. Everything on it is great. But you can't really go wrong with Ren.

He's playing on a classical guitar in drop D and playing in Dm, which, as we all know, is the saddest of all keys. He also took it to 11. If you don't get these references. Time to make a movie review channel
I hope you didn't exclude any of your crying in your editing thinking that was a good idea. I understand your editing and your commenting ,and I think you're very very good at observing what's going on in Ren's life thru his song. I'm kidding you a little bit about the crying, but not really. Lol😂😢😊 I also want to add that I appreciate immensely when a UA-camr puts the artist and the song as the main focus in the screen. I forgot how I connect so incredibly well with Ren's facial expressions. They were bigger with you. I connected more. I want to thank you for this attention to us too. Remember, crying is good.
Haha I might have excluded a couple of seconds. I'm really glad you were able to understand everything and resonated with my take on it. Ok thanks for sharing that last bit because I wasn't sure about that. My son told me to do that haha. Thanks again for watching!
Pause, pause, pause, pause, pause, pause, pause... Have you no heart? I genuinely don't understand how anyone can pause so often, during such a performance... Especially without rewinding, so that so much is missed every pause.
First, thanks for reacting.......Brief Ren bio : at 17 he contracted Lyme disease......was MIS-diagnosed for years with "mental issues".....given psychotropic meds that ruined his mental & physical health.....finally received the correct diagnosis.....still in treatment, probably for life......Ren is that rare and important artist that we should all hear.....his story could be anyone's.......
Okay - I won’t bitch about the audio - you already know, however , we watch a “ reaction video “ to see your reactions too , I , like many others, watch on a phone- a Little round thing in the corner really doesn’t provide enough visual of your “ reaction “ - thank you for your consideration of my comment and for what ever changes you may make 😊😊
Instead insisting others change for you how about you change for others for once. Unless I can come to your place of business or fun and suggest how you do it better to suit me?
@@andrewshedron425 you have no idea how much I have changed my life to suit others- I was very polite in my suggestion, you however need to check yourself - what comes around goes around and that includes attitudes big boy
@@guyrowan4400 never expected it to take much considering the fact you were crying about only seeing a reaction from her in a little circle even though she was pretty brilliant in using that circle while the attention should be placed on the artist then going full screen while giving her thoughts and feelings. Anyone suggesting someone change their format, in a place where standing out and being different is already hard enough, to make better for the few people that it wasn't good enough for without any thought of how many others that enjoyed the format. I'm sure intelligence isn't the issue here. Mommy probably never spanked your ass and told you no. The absurdity in your defense of you being polite is hilarious! Just because you use polite words doesn't mean it wasn't self-centered and ridiculous! Now I'm being rude and I find it amusing I had to be so blunt to maybe get you to see how rude you actually were. But that revelation is yet to be seen.
Probably just me (I went through some comments & didn’t see anyone else mention it), but I simply cannot hear your commentary. The music is super loud and your analysis is SUUUUPER quiet. Again, probably just me, but I figured I’d let you in case it really is an issue.
Thank you for sharing and yes I've seen a couple of comments about this I'm sorry! It seems to sound ok for some and not for others. Perhaps if you weren't able to get through it try watching on closed caption? Thanks for watching!
I can't hear what you're saying and in the same time Ren blows my eardrums up. Pls, do some normalization in your videos or at least check volume levels.
I know I'm really sorry about that. I'm thinking maybe I can upload another one with adjusted audio. I don't know if UA-cam will allow that though. Anyway thanks for watching!
What a dope community of people Ren has built.)

Don't bother with a re-upload. Just move onto more Ren please. How about Chalk Outlines.
Ren is a Bard, sings, raps, plays multiple instruments, writes, makes his own music, he is just awesome
He calls his genre "Bardcore", which is hilarious to me.
What does "Bard" mean? Thanks for watching!
@@thisisshari William Shakespeare was regarded as Thee Bard ✌️❤️🏴. Robert Burns was Scotlands Bard.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and yes so far it seems like an amazing community. Thanks for watching and the recommended order!
@@thisisshari careful with that one. Jenny and Screech is fantastic, but is also emotionally difficult at best. I myself no longer watch reactions to it because it’s too draining for me, but it is definitely a good one and you will get plenty of views if you do it.
@@BryanReggie yep! And she'll get plenty of views if she takes another path through the Choose Your Own Adventure story of Ren's catalogue! ❤
Wer here ❤ feel our love ❤ rens best artist worlds ever seen no one trick pony here! Renegades show love good reaction ❤😊
Thank you for being here and for the warm welcome Ren's world haha :) "Renegades" I love that 🔥
When Ren says "the music that I left behind", he said that he didn't think he'd live to be 30 years old. He really suffered a lot from being misdiagnosed for Lyme disease and writing music between bouts of being bed ridden and in pain every day as his autoimmune condition kept getting worse.
Wow that's crazy. My mom was also diagnosed with Lyme disease. I'm really glad that he was able to overcome it. Thanks for watching!
@longkesh1971 Sadly his condition has worsened, and he has to pursue more rigorous treaments again.
You're going to love the Ren journey.
It's o.k. to cry and show emotion. There are good people in this world who want to help people and Ren is one of those.
Welcome to the rabbit hole great reaction
Thank you for the warm welcome and for watching!
This is one of the most beautiful and triumphant pieces of art on the internet, in my opinion.
Just wanted to make sure you understand.. all ren videos will not be copyrighted.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you resonated with it and I look forward to digging in further!
Thank you for being brave enough to share your struggles with bipolar disease with everyone for the first time! And welcome to the rising tide to lift all ships!
Just awesome, so glad I found you as a reactor. Hi Ren pulled me in completely.
I’m so sorry to hear of your diagnosis but I’m happy that his music has helped in your healing process. Music is magical. 🙏🏽
Thank you! This was a wonderful reaction. Great idea to intertwine your two listens into one.
The LD on the back of his chair is Lyme Disease
Great reaction.... Try "Chalk Outlines" Duet with Chinchilla or "Fred Again Mashup" for good singing songs
Live version
Thank you for watching and for the recommendation!
Keep it up!
you are a beautiful brave human being. nice reactions. this song made me ball the first time i saw it.
We have all cried with Ren's music. Hopefully you react to more.
Nice reaction
I love this video so much. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability. 💜💜💜💜
Thank you for watching lady ❤️❤️❤️
Welcome to the Reniverse so happy you found Ren, his music is beyond amazing.Great reaction and thanks for sharing....appreciate you👍
I highly recommend watching “Defining Success: One million subscribers “
I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
jAN 01, 2023~~~rEN~
Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own.
Ok, subbed for Ren. The duality of self!!❤
Fantastic reaction. No need to second guess your interpretation - one of the reasons we watch reactions is to see varied interpretations and reactions. We all have our own, but it’s good to see others’ too.
Thank you I appreciate this 🙏🏽 Thanks for watching!
LOL I was not expecting a Spider-Man reference to this video. You're not totally wrong.
Great reaction. Great work on the levels on the second Ren video. Looking forward to watching your introduction to Ren.
Please turn down volumes save your hearing. As someone who also loves to listen to music loudly (and now mostly deaf in left ear due to it) I've been told you can't get it back.
Of course .. never stop young lady.. . I respect you already as a person .
Ren is far more than just a 'rapper'! Believe me, you haven't seen/heard anything yet! :)
I love that. Thank you for watching!
This video seems to get people to open up about themselves. The line about the light and the shadow it casts can absolutely be seen represented in the power-responsibility quote. It's about how things balance out. I think you'll enjoy this journey. All the best!
Thanks so much and I'm glad to know what I said made sense haha.

Great honest reaction. Good for you!! Liked and subbed for more of your journey with Ren!

@@thisisshari no need to apologize! Just an observation I was hoping you would find helpful for your channel! :)

Much love mate.
Here is the link; well worth everyone’s time. ua-cam.com/video/Kkp3B-x6-Io/v-deo.html&lc=UgwmBUMbXrER6Mx4WwJ4AaABAg.9w8dqTD6k0V9wAM4gBoRW3
Ren pursued a career in music from an early age.
To me the ending was him and his dark side thriving together learning to coexist!
also your vid sounded great to me some chat can be a little to much lol
haha noted ✍🏽
Prepare for the Ren-egades. You will get an army of people commenting. 😎😎
I love that name and the support you all show for Ren. That's amazing and inspiring.
I have bipolar disorder. It in no way makes you a bad person. The vast majority of people that I've known who have it are wonderful people..
The ultimate rapper who plays guitar has to be Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park
🔥🔥🔥 Reaction Empress 😎❤️💛💚🖤✊🏿🇯🇲🏴
Haha that has a ring to it. Thanks for watching!
Try chalk outlines next
hey you should do Ren 8 Chapters if u want to know everything he went through with his health and also if u keep doing Ren u will learn about his friend Joe Hughes how they meet and also how he meet his friend Sam Tompkins you should also do Ren and Sam Tompkins busking doing Earned it /man world/falling also u should do Sam Tompkins Lose it all live hero live at hammersmith apollo dead to me see me Hi my name is insecure
I Subscired for more Ren

He's playing on a classical guitar in drop D and playing in Dm, which, as we all know, is the saddest of all keys. He also took it to 11. If you don't get these references. Time to make a movie review channel
His working title for this song was “Lick REN’s Love Pump!” 😂

The genre is Ren, and All Ren is gd Ren!
Why would you not show the more emotional reaction? That’s why reaction videos are popular, a way to relive the emotions of our first experience.
I hope you didn't exclude any of your crying in your editing thinking that was a good idea. I understand your editing and your commenting ,and I think you're very very good at observing what's going on in Ren's life thru his song. I'm kidding you a little bit about the crying, but not really. Lol😂😢😊
I also want to add that I appreciate immensely when a UA-camr puts the artist and the song as the main focus in the screen.
Your mic volume is too low. We can’t hear your voice without turning our volume all the way up
Pause, pause, pause, pause, pause, pause, pause...
Wow how amazing that he is still fighting this battle and is still putting out such amazing music. Thank you for the insight and for watching!
React to Ren money game 1 2 and 3 and then Eden in order it literally changed the way I see the world these days
Thanks for the recommendation and for watching!
nah, they're replaying the whole song. thats why its the most replayed.
That makes so much sense
@@guyrowan4400 oh, you have no clue. I can take it. I don't live on feelings and I don't let anyone live my life but me. Do your best my friend.
@@andrewshedron425 you’re pure intelligence has left me in awe 🤣😂
