Mein Bundesland ist Oberösterreich, das in vier Viertel aufgeteilt ist. eines davon ist das Hausruckviertel.
Der Hausruck ist eine Hügelkette im Alpenvorland Österreichs, die den Ostteil des Hausruck-und-Kobernaußerwald-Zuges bildet.

In normal unassisted sharpening and honing, finding and maintaining the correct angle is the hardest part of the process. And you usually end up with different angles on either side. This should make that a lot easier to accomplish.

I built a similar platform like this last year when I
finally realized to just learn to stop making excuses
and learn to sharpen by feeling the bevel. It's not
that difficult.
Your way is the best!
Nice project. The only thing I would do is polyurethane the wood to keep the wood from soaking up the water.

Hello, Felix! I recently bought a Victorinox Dual Knife sharpener and I wonder if you have any tips on holding the 20° angle on it. I think I made my blade blunt.
i wold cut a 70° angle on a piece of wood, where you can lean to the dual. Hold the blade vertically and try to sharpen it with a vertical motion. Like on the sharpmaker from Spiderco.
