I have a 2013 Honda vision 110. I have successfully mixed 9 gram and 14 gram rollers in the variator. It has made all the difference. Pick up is brilliant - would recommend this but cannot be responsible, if someone decides to do the same. The bike has done 38,000 miles. It's the original drive belt and the belt looks as good as new. I change the oil every 1,000 miles. I'm on the second spark plug and just replaced the original air filter.
Hello@@mrworldwide6770 Thank you for your enquiry. I am in no way an expert but have had bikes for many years. I just experimented with the weights on my scooter so I cannot offer you any positive help or advice. All I can say to help you is to have a go and experiment, the weights are not that expensive if you shop around.
When I did it I was hoping to get better a takeoff speed, that improved slightly but the top end didn't improve much. I've since changed to a 115mm from 111mm variator. For a stock setup 12-14mm rollers improves both, not blazing speed but you'll feel the difference. I eventually installed the BBK, modified the 10mm rollers, and modified the air flow. Now the bike flies currently I can get 65+ mph, and a much better take off. I did purchase a new ⚙️ but haven't had time yet to install it. That mod should make it even faster.
My 150 cc dayang vorei scooter has a 13 gram baga, the torque is very good, but it starts at 4000 rpm, the speed dropped a little at 110. It needs to see 120 125. How many grams of cylinder ball bag would you recommend without losing too much torque?
I changed my variator ... I can't push the clutch down to get the belt on ... I took the clutch off and I still can't get it open even the smallest bit ... does that mean my clutch it bad? It was working fine prior to me opening up the case,
What cc is your bike and what size belt did you go with? If the clutch if off try squeezing the belt while pulling it that should retract the clutch spring enough to get the belt on the variator shaft. If it's the 842 belt I sometimes use a flathead screwdriver to guide the belt into the shaft.
50cc... Figured it out ... it has 2000 rpm torque spring in it ... not sure why. But it was going decently fast w me on it. And I weight 300 lbs ... topping out at 30mph w decent acceleration ... I'm gonna go down to 1500 rpm springs.
When I bought the bike it was off. I do have it, but with all the stories I've heard of them not working correctly, I don't believe I'll be putting it back on. I updated my battery, and will be installing an 11 pole stator soon, for faster battery charging. So I really don't need it.
Whats the best wieght for more top end for my 150 cc i dont wanna sacrifice to much torque if possible not loose any i have a 26 mm carb with afternarket filter after market cdi and coil and plug i did the clutch spring to a 100 rom and got the green clutch any suggestions on wieght size and im 142 pounds
Green means your clutch will engage around 2000rpms. I run the red in my bike which is also a 2000rpm spring. When you change certain components parameters change. 12-14 grams should make a difference on your bike setup. You could buy a roller kit and try different combinations until you get a weight that works best for you. I'm still experimenting with mine, I added the big bore kit; much better top end speed. So i'm working on the right weight right now to keep both low, and top end. I also changed the size of my variator, from the stock 11mm to a 15mm running the 842 belt. Hope this helps.
@@phantomfixer good stuff man definitely keep me posted big bore is definitely on the list I'm just looking for a kit that drop in so I don't have to bore the block thank you for the information I actually did find a kit so I'll definitely try the 14 grams and see I also heard you can mix wieghts possibly
Горе мастера ! Пневмописталетом никогда нельзя откручивать гайки на коленчатом валу . тем-более на 2т моторах .. Это недомастера умышленно советуют так делать . чтобы портить колено .

👍👍👍
How faster are you going, how about RPM and weights performance? Did it work out for you with the 16/36..

The clutch spring determines the RPM engagement check to see which color you have, and go from there.
Sall how I can remove the pinion from the variator so that I can put in a semireg
Have no idea what you're talking about, and I don't know who Sall is.

Weight meaning your weight, or variator roller weight?
@@phantomfixer sorry I meant which is the best variator weight for top end speed if I weigh 142

I misread you post, you said green clutch. I assumed you also had the green springs.

I don't think you know much about tools and how to use them. Your comment makes no sense. You do things your way, and I'll do what makes more sense.
