My dad is in his 80s. He says everywhere he goes, people are glued to their phone. He keeps saying how easy it is to control people through social media and overall media. People aren't thinking for themselves. This is a great example.

Those I've known who've had a variety of different abdominal surgeries over the years have all had 10-14 days in hospital followed by AT LEAST 6 weeks at home and anything up to 6 months at home before returning to work.

A person named laowhy is on YT, and he says both Russia and China use propaganda websites very well. They even pay Western web sites to print their propaganda. I suspect this is also occurring with Ukraine and Israeli/Gaza conflict. It is difficult to know the truth. You have to watch several different mainstream channels (they are all biased one way or the other) and watch some foreign channels, too. I am on some conservative web sites, and I see people believing crazy stuff. Same with liberal channels. I think the game is to divide the country so that it no longer functions well--which is kind of where we are in the US. IMO.

Sadly, I think that the only mistake the Prince and Princess of Wales made was overestimating the common sense and kindness and patience of others.
Also, they are not really into the PR game. They literally ignored all PR and did it their way, authentically. Quite the opposite of a certain madam who spent nearly all her income on PR while she was a z-list actress to the point that even with her supplementary income as a yacht girl she could not afford to buy her own house or make any other lasting investments. I do think you should recognise that the royals are actually coping remarkably well. The shining ornament has vanished for a while but the story of struggle and everything pointing towards the demise of the RF are getting to fever pitch. They DID say major abdominal surgery at the beginning. I remember because I had major abdominal surgery and it was really gnarly, had an infection after and was rehospitalized for 10 days. Loooong recuperation.

Those I've known who've had a variety of different abdominal surgeries over the years have all had 10-14 days in hospital followed by AT LEAST 6 weeks at home and anything up to 6 months at home before returning to work.

It is difficult to know the truth. You have to watch several different mainstream channels (they are all biased one way or the other) and watch some foreign channels, too. I am on some conservative web sites, and I see people believing crazy stuff. Same with liberal channels.
I think the game is to divide the country so that it no longer functions well--which is kind of where we are in the US. IMO.
UK actually does a lot of this kind of thing in Russia to destabilize the country, an spends a lot of money on it. This is well known in Russia. There has been attacks during our last presidential elections (France), allegedly coming from Russia. Recently a major hack of our institutions websites, medical files have been dowloaded on a massive scale. Of course, France is a republic, so no massive attacks on a public figure like the PoW, but politicians are being targeted. There are very strict laws about privacy in France and no tabloid press, (only gossipy magazines) but social media are just as bad as anywhere else. Let's say the cyber attacks are more targeted on the institutional level.

I am so tired of the latest excuse that the palace mishandled the situation. Even if it was true, did that give everyone that piled on Catherine permission to be complete and utter assholes…which they were? Where does personal and professional integrity come into question?
Also let's not forget that the most lurid conspiracies (Catherine having an affair with Thomas Kingston, William murdering him and beating up Catherine to the point of disfigurement) started way before the Mother's day photo. The Sussex Squad started their rabble rousing right after Catherine's absence was announced in January and the press followed soon thereafter.
They didn't, they released all the information that ANYONE needed to know.

You don't even have to be in the same country to purchase bots from there. You and I and anyone from anywhere can purchase bots from Russia, Pakistan, India, etc. We can even run our bot network from USA/UK by using VPNs and proxies for other countries. I, like TRG and a lot of people, believe it's Meghan and Bouzy behind these pro-Harkles bits.

Bot attacks are crazy but even crazier is that some people have these conspiracy stories in their newsfeed and actually believe them.
I occasionally visit a couple of forums similar to 4chan and its ilk, purely for shits and giggles. The type of conspiracies these people (mostly far right extremists) believe in is mind boggling to say the least e.g the royal family are lizard people who eat babies and carry out blood sacrifices, the 'elites' have all left and are hiding out in bunkers and have been replaced by clones/body/doubles/holograms, different variations of the QAnon nonsense etc. These people really do believe in the most lurid conspiracy theories, I guess it's the only thing that gives any meaning to their otherwise empty lives. I imagine they must also be lonely and isolated people who find meaning and community through these shared beliefs.
At the other extreme you have the far left race baiting brigade who want to take the monarchy down so they perpetuate these attacks on the next in line to throne, William by painting him as a wife beater, murderer, etc. These hypocrites would gladly embrace the monarchy if Harry and Meghan were crowned King and Queen.
