I had a C-section which meant that the majority of my abdominal muscles were cut. It took me 3 months to be able to sit myself up from lying; standing from a sitting position was painful for the first month and not very elegant when doing it. If the Princess of Wales has had invasive surgery then it is clear to me that the muscle healing alone takes time, never mind what the surgery was actually correcting/fixing. Princess Catherine does not owe anyone an explanation of her medical history, just as we don't owe anyone an explanation of ours. She is not public goods, she is an independent person with the same rights to medical privacy as us.

@@vaskylarkEvery c-section is different. I’ve had 4, but my 3rd was brutal. I had nerve damage and it was a very long healing process. I also had toddlers to take care of, but I pretty much had to do it lying down. We don’t know that Princess Catherine wasn’t pregnant. If she had an ectopic pregnancy it would be the same incision as a c-section. If it was complicated and she also needed a hysterectomy, that would prolong the recovery time. Whatever it was, she deserves the amount of time to heal regardless of how long it’s taken others to heal from the same surgery.

In this post-pandemic world sometimes people need a month or two to get over things. I truly hate the internet anymore. I've too disagree with you on this one. Lots of people still refere to Catherine as Kate. It has become a kind of nickname. It's the way you pronounce it. With or without respect. But it seems she preferes Catherine. In public, like the media, the press etc. should call her Catherine if she wishes so. Just out of respect for this lovely lady.

Catherine should follow doctors orders and we all should mind our business! 😊 I had abdominal surgery several years ago, for female issues, and my doctor advised I be off from working for three full months. I started feeling better after two months, so I started going back to work half-days. Going back to work actually set back my recovery. I had to go back to full days recovery. She should not rush it!!
Plus she is very physically active during all of her engagements! I am sure she feels terrible that she can't be in public to take some of KC3's duties. I pray for her full recovery ❤️🙏❤

I had a hysterectomy and they cut into my abdominal muscles. It took three full months to recuperate, plus I got tired easily and was impacted by it for at least two more months. Catherine is recuperating, and she is doing the right thing staying at home. She will come out when she is ready. As for Thomas Kingston, leave the poor man and the family alone! I totally agree that one should take time to recover and not feel stressed out about having to return to work. That's asking too much. Sometimes ignoring that you feel "off" just leads to greater injury or compromised healing.

As someone who had severe abdominal surgery, it was six weeks before I could stand up without massive pain. At that point I could hold a gallon of milk. So this just shows how good of shape and health she is. Give her grace to heal and let her take the time she needs!
Been there myself. I was really physically fit at the time of the surgery so I seemed to think that I could come home from the hospital and hit the road running....it nearly killed me! 😂😂

William and Catherine don't have as much help as you think, Brittany. Their nanny doesn't live with them, and Catherine likes to run her household like a normal family. Kingston was known to have had severe depression throughout his life. Grow up folks, POW needs time to recover and get stronger, I left hospital as weak as a kitten with abdominal surgery, it was a long road to complete recovery but like me she will get there just leave her. Leave her in peace, it took me a full 12 weeks but more months after that as the healing continued, so do not count the days she will be there when she has healed, may be a bit longer but that too is fine. Just think if you had your body opened up muscles cut through they don’t heal overnight. It probably takes all her energy just to get up in the mornings. Probably has physio exercises to. I’ve had abdominal surgery 4 different times, and believe me!! It’s not a picnic. Especially when the older you get, the longer the recovery time. The surgery prior to the last one I had took me 4 months to recover. The last one was 2 years ago, and that one resulted in a little over 7 months. ( there was 18 years between these last 2). I’ve had some issues from this last illness that had made me permanently disabled. I can’t believe that these people are demanding pictures from poor Princess Catherine. Leave the woman alone and let her recover in peace. They don’t realize that if she was to come back to work early, it could complicate things and make matters even worse. They just need to shut up.

I had abdominal surgery in 2004 - I took eight weeks off of work to recover. The first week after surgery you're pretty much bedridden, which is probably why HRH The Princess of Wales was hospitalized for app. two weeks before going home. I'm glad she's home with both sides of her family there to help. I'm sure the kids are happy that Mommy is home and that she will get better, but it'll take time. When a parent has surgery, it can be frightening for kids at any age! While HM The King has been seen with HM The Queen walking to church while undergoing cancer treatments, this *does not mean* that the PoW should do the same - at all - ever. Two different cases, two different treatments and recovery times. I'll keep good thoughts for the Kents and the Kingstons during this very difficult time. I am very sorry for their loss. I'm glad I'm not on Twitter/X or IG.

I’ve had a couple of major spinal surgeries, so not the same thing as Catherine, but I found them to be incredibly exhausting and painful as well. After my first surgery, I was forced to go back to work earlier than hoped because I was told that I could lose my job otherwise. I worked as an outpatient psychiatric nurse, and so I can tell you that having to go back to work within weeks of a major surgery, in a job where you are on your feet and dealing with people, is very exhausting when you are still in recovery. I ended up having to quit and go on disability, and, while it probably would have happened anyway (due to the underlying medical conditions that put me in a position to need surgery), jumping back into work within a few weeks of spinal surgery did me no favors. It helps no one to wear Catherine out for absolutely no reason. The rest of us (usually) get to recover after major surgery; Catherine should be allowed to as well. People just need to #letCatherineheal

I had major abdominal surgery when I was ten years younger than Catherine. It’s not something women want to talk about but it takes quite a long time to recover from it. It was three months before I got my mojo back and two years before the pain of the scar stopped altogether. Only people ignorant of these types of medical procedures are asking where our Princess is. Those of us who have trod this path before her know, sympathise and wish her peace and quiet away from the strident voices so that she can heal in peace. 🙏

I've had knee surgery that kept me in the hospital 10 days and ankle reconstruction surgery. It takes forever to recover. Totally non weight bearing for weeks. The only person i encountered that had any idea of the pain was a guy who had ankle reconstruction about the same time i had it. You could feel it in his voice when we talked after we were both able to return to work. Recovery and physical therapy went on for over a year. I feel your pain. I can imagine that Princess Catherine might have been kept in the hospital longer because they wanted to make sure infections didn't set in and, having young children, they wouldn't want her to pick them up.
People have lost patience in this 'demand it NOW/I 'need' culture. We used to anticipate, enjoy the thrill of anticipation, and we had the maturity to understand. Catherine doesnt use us, why do these people need to use her for their own gratification!? They need to get out and find a hobby!! Something worthwhile!

Abdominal surgery is not joke and healing takes time. Besides these horrible people who have nothing better to do should be asking the Harkles where their kids are. I think any normal person, celeb or not, would not like intimate personal details of their lives to be public knowledge & in the case of royalty, unlike celebs, they didn't get into such lifestyles for any PR. Thank you for a great video. I'm a nurse and it does take a long time to get over abdominal surgery. So many muscles are involved. She was in great shape but let's give her a break and let her heal with no stress. Some things are never the same as you know, Brittany. I appreciate you sharing yourself. I had a severe back injury 20 years ago which took out my left leg. I spent 13 months rehabilitating it. Thankfully I can walk now but I have had to accept that some things are unsafe since I have so much nerve damage, like stairs. How do you manage with all the walking on your wonderful trips?

I shattered my knee, had surgery and was down and out for at least 6 weeks, had to use a walker for months, 3 years later my knee still hurts. Recovery from surgery is rough and nothing is ever the same.

I had a C-section which meant that the majority of my abdominal muscles were cut. It took me 3 months to be able to sit myself up from lying; standing from a sitting position was painful for the first month and not very elegant when doing it. If the Princess of Wales has had invasive surgery then it is clear to me that the muscle healing alone takes time, never mind what the surgery was actually correcting/fixing. Princess Catherine does not owe anyone an explanation of her medical history, just as we don't owe anyone an explanation of ours. She is not public goods, she is an independent person with the same rights to medical privacy as us.

@@vaskylarkEvery c-section is different. I’ve had 4, but my 3rd was brutal. I had nerve damage and it was a very long healing process. I also had toddlers to take care of, but I pretty much had to do it lying down. We don’t know that Princess Catherine wasn’t pregnant. If she had an ectopic pregnancy it would be the same incision as a c-section. If it was complicated and she also needed a hysterectomy, that would prolong the recovery time. Whatever it was, she deserves the amount of time to heal regardless of how long it’s taken others to heal from the same surgery.

I had a hysterectomy and they cut into my abdominal muscles. It took three full months to recuperate, plus I got tired easily and was impacted by it for at least two more months. Catherine is recuperating, and she is doing the right thing staying at home. She will come out when she is ready.

As someone who had severe abdominal surgery, it was six weeks before I could stand up without massive pain. At that point I could hold a gallon of milk. So this just shows how good of shape and health she is. Give her grace to heal and let her take the time she needs!

William and Catherine don't have as much help as you think, Brittany. Their nanny doesn't live with them, and Catherine likes to run her household like a normal family. She does the cooking, cleaning, and washing just like everyone else does. They are going out of their way to have as normal a family life as possible before they become King and Queen. Grow up folks, POW needs time to recover and get stronger, I left hospital as weak as a kitten with abdominal surgery, it was a long road to complete recovery but like me she will get there just leave her. Leave her in peace, it took me a full 12 weeks but more months after that as the healing continued, so do not count the days she will be there when she has healed, may be a bit longer but that too is fine. Just think if you had your body opened up muscles cut through they don’t heal overnight. It probably takes all her energy just to get up in the mornings. Probably has physio exercises to. Just stop this nonsense. Get well soon Princess Catherine.

I’ve had abdominal surgery 4 different times, and believe me!! It’s not a picnic. Especially when the older you get, the longer the recovery time. The surgery prior to the last one I had took me 4 months to recover.
The last one was 2 years ago, and that one resulted in a little over 7 months. ( there was 18 years between these last 2).
I’ve had some issues from this last illness that had made me permanently disabled.
I can’t believe that these people are demanding pictures from poor Princess Catherine. Leave the woman alone and let her recover in peace. They don’t realize that if she was to come back to work early, it could complicate things and make matters even worse. They just need to shut up.

The first week after surgery you're pretty much bedridden, which is probably why HRH The Princess of Wales was hospitalized for app. two weeks before going home. I'm glad she's home with both sides of her family there to help. I'm sure the kids are happy that Mommy is home and that she will get better, but it'll take time. When a parent has surgery, it can be frightening for kids at any age!
While HM The King has been seen with HM The Queen walking to church while undergoing cancer treatments, this *does not mean* that the PoW should do the same - at all - ever. Two different cases, two different treatments and recovery times.
I'll keep good thoughts for the Kents and the Kingstons during this very difficult time. I am very sorry for their loss.

I have had a few abdominal surgeries, 2 serious, and I could not imagine people interfering in my heath and recovery. Let her be , she needs the time to recover. It took me months to get back to my best self.

Archie and Betty and Granny Doris have been missing for almost a year. Actually invisikids haven't been seen in two years.

I’ve had a couple of major spinal surgeries, so not the same thing as Catherine, but I found them to be incredibly exhausting and painful as well. After my first surgery, I was forced to go back to work earlier than hoped because I was told that I could lose my job otherwise. I worked as an outpatient psychiatric nurse, and so I can tell you that having to go back to work within weeks of a major surgery, in a job where you are on your feet and dealing with people, is very exhausting when you are still in recovery. I ended up having to quit and go on disability, and, while it probably would have happened anyway (due to the underlying medical conditions that put me in a position to need surgery), jumping back into work within a few weeks of spinal surgery did me no favors. It helps no one to wear Catherine out for absolutely no reason. The rest of us (usually) get to recover after major surgery; Catherine should be allowed to as well. People just need to #letCatherineheal

Too many not-very-bright people have nothing to do with their lives or will do anything at all for money, and feel that they are ENTITLED to "demand" details that are none of their business. Add to that two spiteful, jealous, crass relatives that are only too happy to demoralize their family members and you get situations like this. Thank you Brittany for calling it what it is....STUPID!
I've hard multiple abdominal surgeries. It takes months to recover. Princess Catherine needs to take her time to heal. The immature and under educated need to get a life and leave her alone.

I had major abdominal surgery when I was ten years younger than Catherine. It’s not something women want to talk about but it takes quite a long time to recover from it. It was three months before I got my mojo back and two years before the pain of the scar stopped altogether. Only people ignorant of these types of medical procedures are asking where our Princess is. Those of us who have trod this path before her know, sympathise and wish her peace and quiet away from the strident voices so that she can heal in peace. 🙏
What decent person with a brain would EXPECT a sick person to show themselves to the world while recovering from an illness? The ignorance of people and selfishness is ridiculous.
My children are very sweet when I've been ill, I can only imagine how helpful George, Charlotte, and Louis have tried to be with their mother who they love so very, very much! ❤

We were told from the get go that we wouldn’t see her until after Easter, do people not understand that Easter is almost 4 weeks away! Allow her to heal privately please, I’m not sure what people are expecting?, photos of her operation scars maybe!!! The level of speculation is beyond curious it is downright sick!!
As for the sad death of Thomas Kingston please will these same evil trolls leave off the speculation. Lady Gabriella has enough to deal with, without wild stories adding to her grief.
I've had knee surgery that kept me in the hospital 10 days and ankle reconstruction surgery. It takes forever to recover. Totally non weight bearing for weeks. The only person i encountered that had any idea of the pain was a guy who had ankle reconstruction about the same time i had it. You could feel it in his voice when we talked after we were both able to return to work. Recovery and physical therapy went on for over a year. I feel your pain.
I can imagine that Princess Catherine might have been kept in the hospital longer because they wanted to make sure infections didn't set in and, having young children, they wouldn't want her to pick them up.

Abdominal surgery is not joke and healing takes time. Besides these horrible people who have nothing better to do should be asking the Harkles where their kids are. Thank you for a great video. I'm a nurse and it does take a long time to get over abdominal surgery. So many muscles are involved. She was in great shape but let's give her a break and let her heal with no stress. Some things are never the same as you know, Brittany. I appreciate you sharing yourself. I had a severe back injury 20 years ago which took out my left leg. I spent 13 months rehabilitating it. Thankfully I can walk now but I have had to accept that some things are unsafe since I have so much nerve damage, like stairs. How do you manage with all the walking on your wonderful trips?

I shattered my knee, had surgery and was down and out for at least 6 weeks, had to use a walker for months, 3 years later my knee still hurts. Recovery from surgery is rough and nothing is ever the same.

I think that the Princess of Wales wants to be completely recovered before returning to her commitments, that we see her in all her splendor, with all her energy, she has us accustomed to that, and to achieve this, she needs the time that we have been told we have to wait, she will return to 100% of her capacity, she interacts a lot with people, she bends over with children, that requires strong legs and equally strong abdominal muscles, she is surely recovering and working on it, stop the speculations, the sensationalism, conspiracy theories. This hysteria and conspiracy mongering is as annoying as a little kid in a car repeatedly asking "ARE WE THERE YET?!" even though the driveway is still in the rearview mirror. The Princess acted as an adult, by informing us and requesting that we allow her privacy. She deserves our respect and continued trust.

When she had her surgery, it was announced she would return to her royal duties after Easter. So far that is on track. Leave. Her. Alone. I'm sure she will return to her duties when her doctors feel she is ready.
