Thanks mate great vid......my aircon duct was slightly different and the Toyota Denso filter is also slightly different.....mine is 2008 model. Your video put me on the right track so well done. Cheers Roger Morrison
I did another one for a mate who has the same series as the one shown, and it had a different ducting with a pin holding it together , and a wiring loom where the filter tray has to be bent up. Toyota having a bit of fun, but it is still better than being charged an hours labour for an apprentice to do it. i hope that you managed to get hold of the WACF0194 filter.
The one shown did not have the retaining clip, however i did one for a mate on the same model and there was one there. It just popped out when I pulled the two sections apart and did not break. It should only have a small arrow head on the other end so should pop out. One thing I did find with another Toyota clip, was that you had to push the centre inwards, which seems completely wrong, but somehow that releases the clip. It has a sort of central ring around the screwdriver recess. The trouble is that you never know which clip they decided to put in.
I do not have access to that vehicle now and I apologise for not showing the removal of the glove box. After looking at the video again it appears that it is only held in at the bottom by clips and so should just pull upwards and outwards. Not sure if these have the little damper rod, which will be on one side if fitted.
Thank you Sir. Very helpful!
I appreciate your kind comment.

No mate, in Queensland and i am just a bloke who tries to help others avoid stupid costs for jobs that take a few minutes.
Hi my air vent pipe has some kind of button clip on it and I can't get it off, even tried prying it off but to no avail.
Do you have any advise?

Mine had a retainer but it popped out when I ripped the pipe out, no damage and I didn’t even bother to put it back in after I’d done the job.
HOW DO YOU GET THE GLOVE BOX OUT
