I’ve learned a lot about relationships last year. I learned a lot about my relationship with God and my Savior. I learned my value of myself. As Christians, I thought I had to be forgiving of a relationship that was becoming toxic every month. There were two people in one man, I dated. Then I came to find he is an addict and alcoholic. This broke my heart for our future which we spoke about and also for him of his devilish bondage. But he chose his addictions and I chose God and myself. Abuse can come in different forms. It wasn’t physical abuse, but possibly could have led to it. But it was manipulation, emotional abuse, gaslighting, control and even trying to pull me away from God and my virtues. I couldn’t be in that relationship anymore even if I do love him. The man I loved didn’t really exist because he was the one high or drunk. When he was sober or going in sober house, he was mean, condescending and telling me I wasn’t being Godlike. What’s worse is that this was a brethren from church. So, even if I thought I were a strong professional woman, I attracted this or allowed it. But I prayed more to God. I know my worth. And I know someday I will meet the same godly person who isn’t afraid of their faith, who serves others and has respect and adoration for women. Sometimes, the devil tries to thwart you from having a wonderful relationship and marriage. But you are a divine person in God’s image and we have an important calling and purpose. So, I am working on myself and putting God first. And I know the One will come someday when the time is right.

It is SOOO TRUE!!! When the time is right…. “Chase God First!” Learn to live with and be content with God and you first, and he will provide you with your mate!!! Grandma’s favorite teaching to me was, “Let Go-Let God!” Let the issue go, if you keep pestering God - Give him space to work…

Agree God is awesomely capable and what a creator! I too have been studying the marvel of sight. One year ago, I began to take big interest in the “eye” as I was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration. As I processed the new info at the optometrist, the song “Oh Come Let Us Adore Him” played above me on radio office. As I wept about my blindness I choose to thank God for loving me even in this new diagnosis. Blind in 1/2 of right eye, receiving eye injections for a year every 4 weeks, then 6 weeks and who knows how long into future. Two weeks ago my check up resulted in 4 answers to prayer specifically related to a significant amount of healing to my sight.
Now some may say - so u had answers - great. I praise God yes! But I also have a serious life long physical pain which has never healed. I am still praising God anyway. Amber is right in about praise. I’ve kept a gratitude journal for years. Nearing 3500 entries. Big things. Small things. Praise anyway - God so LOVED the world …. He loves us SO. 🇨🇦❤️

We have blind spots in both our eyes and each eye fills in the blind spot for each other so we get a full picture. Blind spot is the optic nerve going to the back of our heads w/ an upside down image. I studied the visual system in Grad School for sports performance IT"S SO AMAZING!!!!

Went through this with my daughter. Because she is an adult your thinking you can't do anything. Way wrong. Go get her and let her know you will not allow her to live with abuse. Make counseling a must and after 6 months be willing to help her get on her feet again.
I let my daughter know if ever she gets into the same situation again, we will show up with a moving truck and she would coming home PTSD is a real thing.

For the person who is the abuser, how do we get people like that to see their need to get help and then to actually get the needed help? Definitely agree that she needs to get as far away from the abuser as possible, and I hope she does. I also hope he'll get the help he needs so he'll no longer be that type of person. I hope he'll let God fix what is broken inside of him.

The smaller pushes, lead to bigger aggressors. And you’re absolutely right Granger!!!!
While I support reporting to police make sure the woman is in a safe place prior to the abusive partner being cornered and questioned, if by chance the woman is in the same vicinity as the partner it could and most times will escalate to become a more heightened scenario.
Having been a survivor of domestic abuse myself, I always recommend therapy, and encouraging small groups, church, church, church!!!! and sending out local shelter numbers. There are hotlines, and quick reach outs.
No man of God would ever!

They were right when they said to keep waiting on the Lord and be content with Him. I dated after I entered my adulthood and did not get the right man that God wanted me to marry until I was almost 30. I just wanted to ask God to show me the right person that He already had prepared for me...but to not lose patience on my end. Just wait for Him to show you the right man. And keep being faithful to Him and leaning on the Lord Almighty, hold on to Him and never let go. He Will bring you the right man at the right time. He promised this in His Word.

    • @bowed305
      @bowed305 2 роки тому +3

I like what Parker always says about needing to be content in your singleness and being content in the state you are in with God being enough. Then if/when God decides to place that person in your life, you're ready, and if that never happens, you're okay with it because you know God can use you to fulfill His purpose in your singleness. Yes, most people will find someone and get married, but we've somehow led ourselves to believe that we can't be complete until this happens. The Apostle Paul is a great example of someone who found the way to make his life have true meaning even though he never married. We just need to learn to trust God to take care of us in the way He knows is best.

    • @lisaberchtold2248

Julie- I am 47 and have never had a date or a 'boyfriend' either. I have supportive Bible believing parents and sisters and I think any good guy or Christian guy out there would be interested in me but most are bad or not good guys and are turned off because they know they can't take advantage of me. Hope it makes sense. I know God loves marriage and hates divorce and have seen both in my immediate family. We have the opportunity to have un- distracted devotion to the Lord. Paul- was single and so was Jesus. The average number of people in American households is like 1.5 So, we are not unfortunate as Satan tells us we are and we must give thanks in our singlehood love and praise Big G- God. Hope it helps you as it helps me to write it. Peace

As to question #3, if my daughter at any age was ever beaten up and still deflected the severity of the situation, I would advise her of my past with her father, which she saw first hand, convince her somehow to get her things and get her back home to me. We will figure it out together, but she will at least be away from a situation that could get ugly very quickly. Just my opinion. Lord, if her uncles ever knew, the boy would be glad to be going to jail.

I just wanted to add a comment about depression. There IS a part that medication can play in correcting any chemical imbalance that MAY be causing depression that doesn’t seem to have a cause. Get an evaluation from a professional. You may just need someone to talk things out with, or possibly some medicine. Also it may take trying different medications to find the right one. I speaking from experience with a family history of a depressive disorder that medication HAS HELPED with 💜

I knew I deserved a good man I just didnt think a good man would want me. There is a difference and I had good reason to think that being very physically ill for more than a decade and everyone treating me like shit because of it even healthcare workers. I knew that finding someone kind and that wanted to be with me when im so sick is rare because ableism is real!

Hey granger I have a question I've been struggling with lately so just a little back story I'm single and 19 I started hanging out with a girl I went through high-school with Ive always liked her anyway she's kind of on the wild side the year or so that I didn't talk to her out of high-school she messed up her life pretty good dui etc anyway when she's around me I can help her make better decisions and stay out of trouble recently I've started to have stronger feelings for her she likes being around me going as far as to pick me over her other friends a few days ago I popped the question asking if I could be her boyfriend and she said that she likes the freedom of being single it really crushed me on the Inside I'd be more than willing to help her get her life straight and lock in at least some foundation for her to build on she didn't say no but is it worth it to hope that she will come around or should i forget about trying to be anything other than friends all thoughts and ideas will be greatly appreciated -Noah

Some ppl call it being naive but I think it's hopeful. And ya being content and happy with being yourself and where you're at is a great point ❤ happy to come across your channel. Valid points.

It’s is absolutely important! There is One God that is creator of all!!!!! Lowercase god is an imposter (the god of this world) Satan is his name! Jesus is King of Kings, Lord of Lords! He doesn’t need your vote!!! He’s not running for 👑 King! He is King 👑
