Cant believe you fired a flood car without even checking the oil... you are extremely lucky/fortunate.
I thought they same thing. Risky.
he got even luckier driving it that far without checking trans the oil the diffs all of it could have water soaked in it
A bit nuts.
My thoughts exactly!!! How do you call yourself a car guy and not check that first buy hey good for you.
We Copart buyers take that risk! Like they say no risk no reward ! Gotta have the balls to buy from Copart
Wow what a score, didn’t expect that car to start up and drive home. So far it’s looking like a home run.
Always smart to check oil AFTER initial start. These UA-cam content creators always make me laugh. 🤣🤣
riding dirty hell yea boiz

I guess you didn't watch the video. He said they did check it.
@@myshots101 They did check it, after the initial start. Maybe u didn’t watch the video.
@@ImpalaSS08 I thought they did say that before they got the car. Sorry wasn't trying to sound mean and it I know I did.
So Mike is standing there sweating bullets saying "Should I click it? I am over my budget." Ivan "click it." Lol
😂
@@amnik3424 wots 0k to them ?
You guys are truly blessed
What a score this Vette is wow and no issues.
Lol
Mike sounds like a kid getting his first car! Awesome find guys, hope you guys get a quick sale! Happy Holidays everyone
This is one great buy! Z51 on an LT3...you are looking at high dollars new and used. This will sell for close to $90K with the options and the mileage. You can get the build sheet and window sticker from the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky for about $150 so you'll know exactly how this car is optioned and what the sticker was when new. Have the dealership check it out, but you just scored big time.
These are selling w those packages for less than 80 wholesale w clean titles retail mid 80s.
@@philipparana9225 I just did a search a clean title they are selling for $89,900 -$92,900 with similar mileage with around 2-3k miles they sell for $95,900 all day long, one with 259 miles was $97,900.
Not with a flood title.
Nice car. But a flood title depreciation is a big hit. Not too many will shell out more than what you paid. If you’re using it fine.
@@steve-ph9yg - Those are not flood title cars selling for $90K.
It seems like someone at Copart did not do their job checking this vehicle over before listing it. Great score guys.
Maybe. Maybe not. You can buy a brand spanking new 2022 Stingray for about $78 - to $80 grand, if you do it right. Loaded. Not everything... but loaded nonetheless. Clean title. I don't really get paying basically $60K with fees and transport / travel.... to have a '21 with a flood title forever. I don't see it. KILLER car tho - no doubt about that, and I sure would love to have one. Red or Yellow for me on a car like this. They are amazing. And oh boy listen to that bad boy when it cranks up.
That car actually never had water in it. I worked at that copart right after the flood
I used to transport and man copart has some shady business practices
Nice video. But is still a Chevy American made junk
@@dempseyodickson2856 oops...we found the poor guy who can't afford a Corvette.
Looking Good ,what a find ,pays to be there and really check them out , a big advantage over someone bidding blind for sure. Beautiful Car.
Wow, one of the most exciting of copart episode! Hope there is nothing hiden! Big risk but so far, it's a major win!!!
that car is just beautiful. First class guy's. I would have a smile on the face just standing beside it. Good luck with it no mater what you decide to do with it.
Flooded without any major damage to the electronics is pretty amazing....stellar deal IMO
You don't know that over electronic will start shortage out.
Wow I mean just wow what a fantastic car you guys smashed it out of the park with this buy. Michael was smiling all the way home now looking forward to the follow up videos great buy great channel 👍👍👏👏👏👏
Congratulations, definitely an emotional buy. Hope it works out the best for you. What did it take to get the top up?
Dang dude you struck GOLD with that purchase! If I were you I would hang on to that one but I know you more than likely are going to flip it and make a couple grand it! You definitely can't hang on to everything
Ohio is just some guy inside the office watching you stand by the car and click it
People hate on the center console, but I absolutely love it. It's one of my favorite looking interiors because it looks like a snug cockpit
Guys that was the most enjoyable car video this past year , thank you and God bless
This is my first time seeing your page and Love your page . Totally awesome video
Wow Mike there are several new Corvette's here in my smaller town! And do they have my attention! As long as nothing crazy weird comes up this should be a big win for you and Ivan! I am looking forward to the next video!
You come across as such a decent guy and so happy to get his Corvette so I'm now subscribed👍. I love Corvettes and have an 1100hp C6Z06 I just had built. Looking forward to following this Vette's story. Best of luck to you.✌️✌️
Mike really is like a kid at Christmas mind you , who wouldn't be? I can see you and Ivan fighting whos turn to drive it!!! Great buy guys, I'll look forward to what happens next!
Great buy! Question like you said, I wander what or who decides if a car gets a salvage title or the certificate of destruction, also known as a death certificate in Florida. So many of the Hurricane Ian super cars got the cert of destruction... so Sad.
This channel is just getting better and better love you guys Ivan Michael would love to have a good working relationship with my brother just keep them coming because your channel is going to be massive this time next year I can see you too having hundreds of thousands of subscribers most likeable brothers on you tube
The roll of the dice was in your favor what a sweet looking car love the sound
Great job Mike. Big congrats on this sting ray!
Wow guys great job on this one!!! So happy you won this car and everything worked out. Look forward on seeing the detailing video.
I love the smile he got when it started
Wew i love those Corvettes, great color too, but you guys know how this works .. so great find. Big Up!
Sometimes it pays to be brave and throw the dice; fortune favours the brave!
Great buy guys . It’s such a good feeling when you buy them right
You think they bought it right? I'm not saying they didn't.... but you can buy a brand spanking new one for $78-$82K ish.... mostly loaded. Why pay $60K for a used one with a FOREVER flood title? Honestly... I don't get it. Killer car tho. And looks like it is in great shape. But.....
Love it. Video revenue will offset your budget concern. Great buy and looking forward to the videos. Hope for the best.
What a great score. And made possible from all those hours of hard work. Well deserved! Continued success!
Absolutely great deal. You man an educated judgment call . Great job
Nice car I really hope there are no issues. It did drive back alright so it should be fine. 👍👍
Good Luck guys , you deserve a sweet deal like that. congratulations.
Saweeeeeeet ride Michael ... Get her all checked out and let us know how she done... Congrats buddy all the hours and hard work you two guys do you deserve it...
It was still probably a little over $60,000 tax, fee's and all but still a great buy I just hope if they sell it they can make a good lick on it because if it's a rebuild title it may hurt it even if they didn't have to turn a bolt on the car I just hope it doesn't hurt it much!
@@joeysweet9045 a salvage title won't obscure the fact that it was a flood car (most likely a saltwater flood at that). You'd have to be a moron to purchase it no matter what kind of car it is.
Like 2 little boys on Christmas morning!
I am so happy for u!
Beautiful car looking forward to the tear down to see how bad it is ! Good luck guys looks like a winner…
They may not need to do any dismantling, just a good check over and good to go!
Oh My Freaking Goodness!!! Michael…Ivan… You guys totally scored! Wow…Love it. 😃👍👍
congratulations 🎊 Great buy👏 God bless both of you 🙏
Before starting it I definitely would have checked the engine oil dipstick for water contamination.
Whatever water was in it probably vaporized. (If there was any) I actually think it ended up there after the owner claimed water damage to his insurance (hence the title situation) because someone drove in heavy rain and it tripped a an electrical sensor. (90% of problems in newer cars are electric and if they’re not electric they’re fuel related). They didn’t know whether to take the plugs out and start it (to remove whatever water was in) or what to do. Same thing happened to me - tons of codes and eventually they just went off after I took it to a mechanic to clear them. Water can ruin any car w low or high miles but it’s not as bad as the untrained consumer believes …
@ryanc2927 Should have gotten a Valiant Ranger then, didn't even need a knock sensor on those magnificent cars.
I do wonder long-term how this will hold up. You should update this if you plan to keep it.
Hey good deal on the vett. I bought the same car only in silver with the tan interior. Mine came out of Pennsylvanian and I couldn’t find any water damage either.
Sweet looking ride glad it worked out
Hey good buy for sure ! Nothing like getting cars from copart that mileage can’t be read or car run that’s when you get good deal in mi opinion u Sii good !!! Did you buy it from insurance?
Immediately turn that Displacement On Demand off! Code it out before it destroys the motor and it will. Great score! 👍 Matt
In the next video, can you explain why a car like that would be at a flooded auction when there does not appear to be anything wrong with it?
A lot of cars that got “flooded out” especially newer cars was just people who couldn’t keep up with the payments and just told their insurance it got flooded to just get out of it and the insurance would just write it off
They will say it’s flooded even if tires get a inch of water because the moisture even though it didn’t get inside
I would like to know the same thing like with the Mustang he bought a couple weeks ago there was nothing wrong with it well I guess the power seat motor was bad but besides that it was a pristine Ford Mustang I think it is just insurance fraud to get out of dept hence the reason our insurance goes up yearly, people trying to live a lavish lifestyle or keep up with the Jones in other words!!
That was a fun video, I understand your excitement I just bought a 2019 Grand Sport with 6000 miles, and you paid less for that C 8 than I did. You got a great deal!!
I just wanted to say that I really enjoy your channel. Thank You
The most interesting thing about this is the suspense - Mike and Ivan will bring it back to showroom condition but then will they bring themselves to sell it or will they just have to keep it?
Me myself I would keep it 100% keep it!
@@joeysweet9045 The reality of paying insurance costs on it might be a deal breaker
@@b4804514 actually the insurance on my C8 is very reasonable and about $200 / yr less than my Hemi Challenger
What a gutz call $58,500 on flood Corvette with no start ! Hell it is not even my car but when you fired it up I was sooo HAPPY for you ! WAY TO GO !!!!
Great Buy! What does N/S on driver side window stand for?
No start
Your Karma earned you that perfect Half Priced C8 Vette !
Brilliant episode love the tension of the auction, and what a fantastic car, thanks guys 🙏🙏
You have to check the oil with it running. Batteries in C8’s go dead quickly with all the electronics. I’m excited for you as I own a 21 coupe. 👍👍👍
Wish I could have seen the reveal to your wife!
Sweet sweet ride! Will look great in your new garage 🤘
CONGRATS. this is one of my goals for 2023
My heart was slightly skipping, lmao so happy for you. Great channel for throwing caution into the wind.....Great content...love the channel....one of the best on UA-cam. 💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏🙏
we are happy you did buy it. You where both boys from 16 again. Life can be wonderfull.
I love your guys content and watch your channel every time a new video comes up... I am an older style truck kind of guy... I'd love to find out more on the little Mazda that pops up in the corner all the time
Just so everyone knows...a insurance company will total a car if it "sat in" 8" inches or more of water...on the C8 that's the bottom of the rocker plate below the door...
You guys are good with the educated guesses. Congrats on owning that Stingray!
You're lucky this sweet ride started right up and got you home.
What a beautiful car!!!!! You are blessed.. Awesome Buy
What's one more click " haha 😄 you guys lucked out on this one ! Beautiful vette! Take care guys !
Beautiful car, congratulations
Man! What a blessing! CONGRATS!👍
Copart is where I got mine....
Mine was a rejected repair that looked perfect.
Won @ $71,000 with 4102 miles.
Good win!!! bailsy on the flooded repair..
GM makes good cars it was worth the dice shake!!!
Christmas came early!!! Congrats Niko Brothers🎁🎁
put that thing in a closed off room with about 4 dehumidifiers going for a couple days.
doors open, hood up, frunk up, sunroof off.
get it as opened up as much as possible to let the dehumidifiers pull out as much moisture as they can.
you would be surprised what winds up in the capture buckets.
but keep the room closed up
That is a steal for a Z51 HTC.. I have a 2020 Z51 LT3 HTC. For putting the top down unlock with the remote and hold the topdown button bottom left. You can only put the top up from inside the car on the drivers door. Hold the button up or push it down to do both functions. Must not have been a lot of water damage if it started and drove that easy. If it was submerged the electronics would be fried.
This one defo put a removable smile on your face
That was a crazy risk. These things will start being discounted pretty soon. Local dealer has had a blue one sitting on the lot for several weeks now. I looked it up online and it's $67k. Not a convertible, but to pay almost $60k for one of these was a tremendous gamble IMHO. Glad it worked out.
Video sponsored by copart, where dreams come true. Keep bidding!
GREAT BUY GOOD LUCK HOPE IT IS A KEEPER. IT WILL LOOK GOOD IN THAT NEW GARAGE
Congratulations. However, did you check ALL fluid levels and if there was presence of oil in the crankcase before starting the engine?
So clarify for me. Because it’s a “flood vehicle” wouldn’t it also then have a Salvage Title so the vehicle is then worth less ??
Great looking car other than it being white in color.
Congratulations! What a score. Like you said though it was a huge gamble. Winner winner chicken dinner
Congratulations guys, you deserve this profit making beauty!
Killer car. Looks like Speed Racer's Mach 5. Not sure about basically $60K for a used Vette with a Forever Flood Title... but I'm not an expert. So.... I think I'd pay $78-82 ish for a brand spanking new Sting-Ray if it were me. But.... what do I know? Bottom line... man what a killer car. And hearing that thing crank up and come to life... Wow!
Awesome . My heart was pumping when you were bidding 😂 & I'm in Scotland
Congratulations sometimes you got to take a chance in life can't wait until the next video comes out
Awesome guys the gamble paid off keep up the good work
Ouch somebody´s got the fever. 😂😂😂, Nice Vete
No way!!! This is an epic video!!
Thank you for your support / feedback:)
I am in upstate New York and the first thing I noticed about this car is the New York state inspection sticker!
Pretty wild it ended up a flood car in Florida.
But, in any case.....
Congratulations on your purchase guys! Dream car of mine for sure, I will get a C8 eventually ! Enjoy it the car is Gorgeous 😍 White convertible w/red interior is exactly how I would order one if I could afford to!
I thought the same thing. Probably was owned by someone who has homes in Florida an NY who kept it in NY
What I've found out before is that the oil rises above the water in the engine. I believe it's best to drain and inspect all fluids even if you check the levels and don't show water.
Let's think about it coparts mission is to sell their clients products to the highest bidder that's why you never pull a dip stick that looks like chocolate milk that doesn't mean it's not contaminated go easy it would be a shame to blow that engine
That's a great deal u got it going on so far. Drive safe home with ur new toy.
What a steal. Happy for ya! Is it difficult to get in and out of???
No risket, no biscuit, great job
Ivan keep clicking cool as you like aye m8 yous don't do alot mistakes education time a guess still love the RV buy n build a love channel content is off the charts
Nice I haven't got mine to start... To get more complex.. you really look up.. that is 👍 great
Good stuff and a nice gamble but it looks good man…. Love the new ride!
Seeing SC & a corvette being my dream car this motivated me 💯
WHEN IT STARTED I WAS SO HAPPY FOR YOU LOL LIKE I BROUGHT IT OR SOMETHING
What flooded it, a 1 inch puddle , that's a win all day long , congrats 👏 🙌
Get in the dealer and have them check it out along with all fluids changed out 👍
greaT VIDEO! this is the problem ppl up bidding cars !!! even at local auctions its crazy! best of luck
The wheels look awesome 👌
Awesome!! She's happy to be loved again!!👍
