- Hey Everyone! Hope you all are well? Today we are creating this nice cool smokey eye using the new Urban Decay Metal Mania eyeshadow palette. So far it’s one of the better Urban Decay releases as of late! The last few years some of the palettes I’ve found to be a bit hit and Miss but this one I’m enjoying so far 😊 Its not much better here weather wise either haha! The wet weather is well and truly upon us 🤣 x

Stunning. Eimear, I just can't seem to get my shadows to blend nice over the UD primer...they seem to patch....do you ever set yours with powder first? It doesn't look like you do but your powders always blend seamlessly? 🤔
Thanks so much! I actually touch on this in todays video haha! It'll be going live this evening. I never set the primer potion with powder and I think it works so well on my eyes because mine are very dry. It sucks up any kind of moisture it gets 😂 I do set some primers/bases with powders though. If I were to apply eyeshadow directly over the top of a Mac paint pot I definitely would have an issue with blending. Try a little powder to set the primer in place first and then you've a powdery base for your shadows to apply on top of! x

Are those first two shades “warm” browns?
The first shade is a moderately warm toned shade but I’d class the rest of the shadows used as cool toned. I feel overall it’s more of a cool toned look bar the crease shade! X
*Edit to add - the more I thought about the title the more I figured it didn’t fit so I changed it 🤣😅
