Thank you so much for this video! I am new to Softball and trying to help out my daughter as much as possible. I watched the video on Fri, and she had a game on Sat, I was able to watch the pitcher with her, and based on her pitching speed. I told my daughter to load up when her up was at the top 12pm. We worked on this while on Double Deck, and when she was up, she was able to hit a double, all because of your video. Thank you so much again!
I was just telling my wife that I needed to help my 9 year old adjust to 10u girl pitch. She’s looked late on her swing the past two tourneys. This is why!!! Thank you!!
Thanks I’ve been working on my posture to much on travel ball and like my timing got like weird. This will help a lot I went from 10u to 12-13u travel ball and it’s. HUGE change so thank you!❤
Hey Meg love your videos do you have a drill I can do for a hitter who is way ahead . Her hips and hands fire so quick and I tried to tell her take a slower load or move up in th box but she is still out in front . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Any suggestions on helping an 8u kid time up the ball. Most of my kids are swinging late. They’re all first year coach pitch. I do soft toss and tee drills to help them see where to swing but timing is the big issue. That and seeing the ball to the bat.
For front toss or coach pitch, have them load when the coach goes back to toss and have them get their foot down right after the coach releases. Another drill is put some dots on some balls and only have them swing at those balls. Let all the other balls go. That way they track the ball all the way in.
Currently struggling with my 12 yo niece. I also think she gets intimidated by fast pitches. She hardly swings. I keep saying if it looks ok, give it a try. If you don't swing you don't hit.
Your timing is impeccable. I really needed this for my daughter. Her timing has been off. This will help immensely. Thank you so much MegRem!!!

Tennis ball drill! Get behind a screen and bounce a tennis ball into her. This forces her to stay back and work on her timing
THANK YOU!
