I keep appreciating DR.OKO-OBOH who I contacted from UA-cam, I was suffering from herpes over 3 years, I thought I have lost it up because i gave up totally after trying some many treatment from different hospitals, he prepared a herbal medicines for me and sent it through UPS and he advised me on certain instruction when taking it and after 16 days he called me to go for a test again and i came out negative, you can email him on doctorokooboh234@gmail.com or simply WhatsApp him via +2349131601786 I can assure you that you will testify like me within a month. I am free now and living my normal life...

I was told in 2004 that I had 2 copies of the CCR5-Delta 32 gene. I've been around 3 people whom have tested positive for the Coronavirus and I have yet to catch it. Is it possible that my gene mutation keeping from catching it?

I was told over 18 years ago that I have one copy of CCR5 delta ..... No treatment for over 18 years with an immune virus ... I started treatment for this virus about three years ago...on antivirals.. I have caught covid several times.... And have antibodies... The first time I caught it I had very mild symptoms... A light fever a cough and mild fatigue...for about 2 days ... I don't know if I have caught it again... But I have definitely been around a lot of people that have had it .. one being my dad who was hospitalized... And he survived ... My entire immediate family has cought covid ... And we are all still alive and well! So there are some real questions we need to be asking ... But right now I think we're all asking the wrong ones.... remember roughly 610,000 people have died of covid in America that is less than 0.1% of the population ... But one thing I can say is that you are lucky you have two copies of ccr5 Delta 32 and that is so rare.. its something like 0.1 percent of the population of the world 8 billion.... Also remember Dr frauci in the 80s

1 copy of Delta32 gives resistance. 2 copies provided complete immunity. At least from the plauge and HIV. Maybe other dieses too.

@@bookman2407 well, I've since caught both the Covid 19 and the Delta so apparently it doesn't keep someone from catching it .

I know this is just a simple question which may have no relevance to the coronavirus, because I haven’t had a chance to study it yet, but has anybody considered the Delta 32 Jean Aza means of avoiding the virus?

Just thinking of the solutions even a basic machine learning model could apply to genomics is mind blowing.
It'd be interesting to develop a transformer or DNA based GPT with genomes. Text is fine, music I believe has been used as training data too, and there is that iGPT thing for images... I don't see why a GPT trained on gene sequences or full genomes would be a problem.
Cos as a prediction method? Well the GPT models are astounding.

How do you choose a gene as a candidate for being involved in the susceptibility for vivid-19 ? 🤔

Now you're thinking, has it already been done?

It all starts with a Pubmed literature review. For instance, scientists have known for a long time that human ACE2 gene/ allele polymorphisms may have a role in betacoronavirus disease susceptibility. There are dozens of others such known suspect genes and more can be found by doing mutational analysis of WGS data.

its been a year, there has to be more proven data on which snp's contribute to worse outcomes. can you make an updated video?

Russ Altman was acting like an academic bully and Casanova slowed him down. Lesson for everyone!
