99% sure those Rushing Heroes were connected together for 4 player play . The kit allowed you to link two cabinets together to play 4 players. There was also a dedicated version in a Dynamo HS-27 with custom control panel for 4 players.

Absolutely love these Midway cabs! I've sought out the Midway Universals which are a very similar build to MK1 (as well as MK2 with later cab revisions) for all the fighters in my arcade. If you want to convert those two Rushing Heros into SF1, SF2, or MvC lemme know, I've made art kits for those games that fit these cabs and be happy to send ya the files.
Can't wait for this series and great find. 😀

That MK1 cab is pristine.
It must have been 2011 when I got my first MK1 cabinet. After about a week, it stopped working and I messaged you. (Not even sure you can still send messages on UA-cam.) Still running strong and now I have a MKII to keep it company! Thanks for all you do!
I think I know the MUGEN or -likes that you mean when it pertains to MK. Base-level MK Project is one thing, and the modified flavors of that are another thing entirely. The prominent ones definitely include Chaotic, which evolved into what is now New Era. All of these runs get a good amount of attention & views. You'll definitely have mine!

I wonder if the best course of action would be to strip the paint and clean em up as much as possible , and keep as spares or sell onto another MK fan.
Love those kabs. I own MK1,2,3 and 3 NBA Jams, and yet I would still love to expand my Dedicated Midway collection. Great stuff.

I would just remove the black paint and get them restored as best as possible. In my opinion I rather have original art with some small holes and tares than replacement art.
Can you do some live gameplays with handcam?

Mike, please do me a favor ok? Strip the paint off, salvage the original art, get 2 original marquees (the new ones look like shit anyway). But for the love of god please don't add new side art. As die hard fans of these cabs go we need to do the responsible thing when they land in our laps. And that is to preserve as much as possible. Tons and tons of them were made, but how many are left that are original? Love your work, been following you for awhile. Not too many Mikes left out there these days that are willing to give viewers pointers and tips first hand on how its done. Thank you again Sir for helping and teaching us. God Bless

HELP! I was playing my Mortal kombat Arcade and the game just Turned into a jumbled mess of colors and the gameplay just failed. Do you know what happened? How do I fix/prevent this?
I tried to turn off and on again, unplug the machine.
